I’m craving for bagel today and I found this cute little bagel shop in Point Loma. They have a lot of bagel flavor choices, my fav is always blueberry, poppy or everything. Today I wanna make it sweet. So I ordered blueberry bagel with lite strawberry cream cheese. I’m very happy about this fresh toasted soft sweet bagel. Well, I can’t compare it with the ones in NYC, but I’m already so satisfied with it. I’ll go back for other flavors~ By the way, the people work there are so sweet and friendly.

Seriously amazing bagels!! They season both sides of their everything bagels so both sides are equally tasty. Fresh baked every morning. Do not leave without trying the bacon, basil and garlic cream cheese!!! It’s so delicious!

My favorite and literally the only place my husband and I buy bagels from. We come here at least 3x a month. My favorite is their cream cheese, they’re all homemade! My preference is the strawberry. They also offer sandwiches too. They’re pricing is the best part of all.

Bagels are good (not great), service is pleasant. Prices make it generally a good value. The East Coast Special is quite tasty but comes with a more premium price. CASH only is annoying during the time of COVID

Makes outstanding bagels. It would be a 5-star place if the store itself was nicer. Quality Nova lox on the East Coast Special. You need to get there early on the weekends or they will be sold out of your favorite bagels.

The bagels are delicious but the (owner?), the woman who is always there every day is very very Rude! She refused to get me a bagel from the basket (false advertising) but continues to get my Bagels from a drawer underneath the basket (bait and switch), but I noticed she gets other customers Bagels from the basket. I asked her could I please have a fresh bagel from the basket she said theyre the same Bagels do you want it or not? Its an everything bagel and you know that some have more seeds and everything on top of the bagel then others. I wasnt asking her to handpick the bagels I simply wanted a fresh one from the basket, she refused to serve me until I said Ill take that Bagel that she picked from the drawer. She is consistently rude to me every time I go in there unfortunately its the only Bagels place in the area and they are delicious Bagels/creamcheese but that lady is very very rude and she shouldnt be at the front counter, she refuses to let anyone else help me, she controls that place and is very rude. I dont know if the bagels in the drawer are day-old bagels or the ones that arent quite up to standard but they small and did not look or taste the same, there was hardly anything on the top of the everything bagel. Im tired of her abuse when I am a paying Customer and simply want my morning Bagel like everyone else! I never did anything to this woman and she is very rude every time!

Best bagels in San Diego, and also the most affordable. I go out of my way to pick up PL bagels, keep them cut in the freezer, and eat then for breakfast every morning. The staff is also so friendly and nice, Im proud to support this small local business. Dont forget its cash only!

OK I going to impose my Im from the Bronx and nobody knows bagels like me pompous attitude for this review. For one good bagels are hard to come by in San Diego county.. that is a fact. but PL Bagels is very good and you need to get there early, like before 9, for a decent selection as pointed out by others. Highly Recommended.

Small family owned shop with nice, happy service and really great bagels! I had a lox bagel and it came overloaded with all the toppings! My wife had a BLT bagel and it too was stuffed to the brim with bacon and fixings. You get more than what you pay for and its all delicious!

Cash Only, Mom & Pop shop with great fresh bagels -- selection diminishes by 10 am, which is fairly normal for any good bagel shop. Their Garlic Bacon Basil cream cheese is homemade heaven, and their veggie cream cheese has perfectly minced and mixed morsels of fresh vegetables.Parking lot is tiny, but the Stumps Grocery Store parking lot is right next to it.

Friendly service from your typical bagel shop. The price and the size of each bagel sandwich is of good value. The hot pastrami sandwich may look large when served up, but its really a single layer of pastrami on top of their lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles.

Freshly cooked beagles. Good prices. Dine in breakfast. Gets busy on the weekends. Has I usually pick up a dozen on the weekend to take home. They close early afternoon and often run out of popular bagels such as poppy seed before noon.

They run out early, so after 10, the selection is minimal.Luckily is is walking distance because the parking lot is tiny and the parking spaces are even tinier.

Make sure you repeat your order several times so they hear you. I asked for a #3 with ham and the girl said ok #3 and didn’t give me the coffee that comes with. When I asked for the coffee they charged me extra even though I had already paid! If you make a mistake and charge me incorrectly, it’s your fault not the customers. First rule of customer service!Don’t recommend and will not be returning.
