Poor customer service, installed new raw water pump on my boat, failed to fill with oil. Unit and mechanical fuel pump destroyed on the water after a few hours of running metal on metal. Had to be towed back to marina.Called and texted Mike numerous times for almost a month, never came to boat to inspect problem. Very difficult people to deal with, just left me hanging. I finally had to hire a new mechanic and purchase new parts.Wouldn’t recommend Worry Free to anyone. Very dishonest business.

As a distant boat owner we put our faith in WorryFree for engine work, a/c repair, gray water tank, etc and they are meticulous and do great work. We have been very happy with the service, knowledge and repairs done. They provide you with detailed explanation with videos/pictures and are very receptive to our needs. They go above and beyond and are sincerely a nice hard working family! I highly recommend them.

Have used Mike for over a year now. Several large jobs including turbo rebuild, rebuild both raw water pumps, several plumbing and pump replacements, and full engine maintenance. In that time I have yet to receive the level of service and attention to detail that this team delivers on a consistent basis. My only regret is that I would have run into these fine folks earlier. Mike at WorryFree Came highly recommended to me from a fellow charter boat captain so I decided to give him a shot. I was having a voltage drop issue at start up. He quickly diagnosed the issue and we made the necessary repairs. Mike was on time, professional, knowledgeable and hard working. His prices are very fair. Knowing Im a charter boat Captain, Mike has gone above and beyond to make sure I am on the water and able to fish and make a living. He even replaced my batteries for me all while having a broken arm. I kid you not. Thats all I really need to say about what Mike and WorryFree is all about. I highly recommend.

Mike is a professional and knowledgeable mechanic who fit me in after hours when my batteries needed to be replaced and I had to move from that slip the next day. Mike replaced the existing eight 6 volt golf cart batteries with 2 large 12 volt AGM batteries, replaced the battery charger, and redid the wiring. He worked until around midnight and got the job done. He charged only his normal $85 an hour and gave me the batteries and parts from West Marine at his cost without charging me a premium.Highly recommended.

Today was the first time in my life Ive had to fire a contractor. Mike failed to show up for four (4) scheduled appointments in the past six (6) weeks. He has yet to completely finish a single project I hired him to do, so Im left with a handful of half-completed projects. He was scheduled to reinstall the top end of my starboard engine this weekend, and stood me up again today. That was the final straw that forced me to fire him and hire another mechanic. At the end of our conversation this morning, he insinuated that hell drop metal shavings into my engine! I had to install WiFi security cameras to record inside and outside of my boat today because of his threats! I could only get my engine parts back from him by letting him know Ive retained an attorney to resolve this mess for me. Suddenly, his scheduled opened up, and he released my hijacked parts! He does not work on a flat rate basis, so youll end up paying more due to his inefficient work than you would by hiring a higher priced mechanic with a good work ethic. I suspect that s because hes only been a boat mechanic officially for around a year. If he shows up for appointments at all, hes hours late, and never calls in advance to let you know. He constantly complains about his long work days (as though thats unique for a small business owner!), hell eat and drink right out of your refrigerator without asking, and hell track grease and oil all over your boat without cleaning up after himself. Save yourself a ton of grief and hire someone else!

Super knowledgeable, professional technician. I would say he knows how to fix anything. I had no question that he doesnt know an answer to. He probably can fix my boat with his eyes closed. He is so experienced and so smart that I am lucky to have him as a professional mechanic. Would higley recommend him.

Was in need of some desperate engine service and had to cancel a trip today! I was able to find Mike basically dropped everything what he was doing to come over and give me a hand on a Saturday! Do you know how hard it is to find a good know, an excellent diesel mechanic on a weekend? Very professional and he knew his stuff! I couldn’t ask for better service.

Please be careful reading all of the recent positive ratings. Do your homework and dont operate on trust. Dishonest, unprofessional, borderline crook, will try get you to agree on an evaluation or assessment and then proceed with the work without clear pricing. You will receive a surprise bill for $85 per hour times the time spent. Instead of working with customer sensitively on the situation, they will threaten to file lien if you question their unprofessional behavior. Will also verbally attack you. They should change their business name to Worry a-lot. Stay away from these people
