I have been taking my car here for a few years now. They are very kind, knowledgeable and easy going. I trust that they do what is needed and are honest in their recommendations. I highly recommend them.

As a city worker in San Diego I expect a little courtesy from drivers. I was working in the street right out front of this place when an older guy that obviously works here pulls out the shop and parks directly on my work site and with a straight face told me you can waitObviously another entitled Californian that I would NOT want working on my M5. Very unprofessional.

We have a 2000 BMW 740i (with only 82K miles) and Gary and the Service Specialists team of technicians have kept our car purring like a kitten. They are the most honest mechanics you’ll find and their pricing is extremely fair. Keeping an older car like ours in mint condition can be tough just based on the age and difference in auto innovation versus today but we wouldn’t trust it to anyone else. And now that our manufacturer service plan for our 2016 640i has expired, Service Specialists is taking great care of that car too.

Ive used these guys 3 or 4 times now for my 2007 530i. Gary runs the shop and always keeps it real with me and I never feel like I am being taken advantage of. Easy drop off in the a.m. and pick up in the afternoon. Since I found these guys Ive stopped using the dealership and I feel like I am getting great service at a great price. Highly recommend.

My car broke down on a business trip to San Diego, and out of all the BMW shops I called, Gary was the most honest-sounding guy I spoke to, so I took it to him. He was very accommodating, keeping my car inside the shop, so as to not get damaged by the sun, while waiting for me to find the time to get back down to SD. He did a great job for a great price, and I only wish that he was in LA, so I could take my car to him for more work.

This is a wonderful shop to take your BMW. As a car enthusiast, you only want to take your car to a shop that cars for your car and has knowledge of your specific model, not just cars in general, and this is that shop. The owner was very friendly and took my car in on short notice for a small fluid change for a long road trip I was about to do. Aaron, the mechanic, serviced my E30 and also made sure to do a full inspection and noted my rear sway bar had sheared off its mount and referred to the perfect shop to get this custom fab work done (San Diego Performance European, reviewed). They got my car in and out within an hour but left me knowing my car was cared for, inspected and serviced. If youre in Downtown and drive a BMW, THIS is your only shop!

This guy Gary doesn’t know anything about bmw and he doesn’t have anyone working at his shop I took my bmw to get a quote he had my car for over a week and he didn’t get me a quote so I pick up my car he kept say at first for a tune up it $600 than after I drop my car off to him it went to $2000 than a week later I called him to see if he can get me a quote he said are you ready to spend $2000 to $3000 on your car I said no I will pick it up never take your car to this place he has no real idea how much it cost cost he is not a mechanic he is a real deal con man .

Super friendly, fairly priced, gives all the details of what was found and the reasoning behind why you should have something repaired that you werent planning to have repaired. Military friendly! Gary has my full recommendation!

Came in after I hit a curb pretty good to check and make sure nothing was bent. most helpful and freindly shop I’ve been too in a long time definitely would return for any other work or problems

I’ve kept this page bookmarked in my phone since moving to San Diego. My BMW was from Craigslist & Gary has never given me bad advice, tried to upsell, or do maintenance not needed. I’ve never felt so sure about a service shop being honest before!
