I went to get a new sim at the store yesterday around 10:00 am. because my phone is lost. and for some reason my spare cellphone doesnt work in the US. anymore so I have to get a new phone right away. I asked a salesperson what are differences between Iphone 12 pro and promax. the answer from him was they are the same I told him back I didnt expect you to answer all the details just a major thing and he said you can look up on apple website for comparisons and walked away.Im still thinking why AT&T still need a salesperson at the shop......

Pretty terrible. They seem to always be doing updates which mean they usually are unable to assist with accounts and simply want you to sign up to new services. Was told to call for support over the phone as they couldnt help instore. Predictably called support to be told I had to go into store. I ended this infinite loop by changing carriers

The employees of this specific location need a raise! While understaffed and having several people come in at once, the two gentleman did their best to help everyone in a timely manner, and some at the same time. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. Thank you for your help!

Terrible service went to return a $40 speaker did not have card on me as it was a gift but had the receipt I asked the refund be credited to my account like I have done in the past rep was clearly not in the mood to work and said he couldn’t. Ended up having to go to another store with more competent reps who were able to do it no problem.

We did a curbside pick up. When I checked in online, I made eye contact with the customer service rep. He finished up the customer he was helping. Looked up at the screen pointed to my name that was next on the screen and said something to the other employee. Two more people walked into the store and he began to help them. I came inside let him know I was parked in the loading zone (it’s downtown and there’s literally no parking by the courthouse). He continued to help the other person that came in after I checked in. About 10 minutes passed and I went back inside told him once again I’m parked in the loading zone waiting for my curbside. The agent requested to see my fiancé ID to process the order. I called him to come to the door from the car, the security guard came over there being rude stating he needed a mask to be at the door. I when I stated that the security guard should’ve offered him one he walked off to go get one and when I stated there should be some out for customers to use the security guard told us he was no longer getting us a mask and that we needed to get out the store. I told the security guard I already paid for my order and to call the police because he was being ridiculous and I just wanted to sign for my order. The customer service rep told us don’t worry let’s step outside and finish up the order and the security guard continued to antagonize us being an aggressor. We told him to leave us alone and just go inside because he was just going to turn into another situation. At that point he stepped outside and pulled out his baton as if he was going to strike us and told us he was doing it to protect his self. But how when you were the aggressor. Then, when we asked him for his name or the company that he works for he refused to give it to us. The customer service rep never requested the security guard’s assistance at all and the guard was literally trying to bully us. We’ve been with ATT for 5 years and I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life. The security guard stated I had an attitude that’s why he intervened yet I never yelled or anything at the customer service rep; I’m allowed to be frustrated with lousy customer service especially when I’m parked in the loading zone in a high police traffic area. I was treated like a criminal when I was literally the consumer. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST I CONTACT ATT AND THE REP AT THE STORE REFUSED TO ANSWER THE SUPERVISORS’ CALL FROM THE CALL CENTER. I wouldn’t be surprised if the rep shared my address with the security guard; I’m terrified for my children’s safety that security guard was looking for trouble and just wanted someone to beat on.

Headache from the beginning. From the company cutting off my signal for almost three days for no reason so that I missed an important business call, to mean customer service at the corporate stores, changing my rates three times to “resolve” my complaints...to paying the restocking fee to upgrade to the phone I really wanted, thus adding insult to injury, etc., I’m not very happy.

Ms. Tia, was so helpful. She has a great attitude and personality! I’ve had an a IPhone for years and was seeking help with my phone and a friend’s. I needed help with my iCloud and passwords which was a terrible problem remembering. She helped me unlock my phone for a friend to have and remember my iCloud to access my account. I’m terrible with trying to remember, unfortunately because Apple wants something different than a usual password I use for other devices. I’m very happy I came in at the right time and have had the help from Tia. She deserves to be appreciated and acknowledged for her costumer service. I’ve been a server for years and she has exactly what it takes to be a great asset to any company! Thank you!

I went to the downtown store to get an iPad for my company. JONATHAN C was the man to help me out. Not only did I get exceptional customer service from him I walked out with two iPads and spent less than I would’ve if I would’ve bought them anywhere else. He explained to me that the specials they had that it’s cheaper to get to that it is to get one. He gave me both prices and I was able to choose what I wanted. Thank you very much hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had with AT&T.

Ordered a phone through the AT&T website for pick up in the store. When I ordered yesterday I was told it would be ready in about two hours. I finally got the email that it was ready for pickup about 7 hours after I ordered the phone and of course the store was closed by that point. Now I come today to pick up the phone and they literally can not get the system to release the phone to me. I’ve been here for over an hour....Update: The agent eventually told me that his best advice was to wait until the hold clears In three days and try to order again. I went back to my car and tried to dial 611 to speak to Customer Retention and found out that the phone I walked in with was now disconnected from the network. I went back to the store and spent another hour there only to be told there are SIM delays and my phone “should” work sometime later. The agent did his best with what he had but ultimately whatever AT&T is pushing out to the store is not user friendly for anyone.

As soon as I entered this wonderful woman greeted me and helped me instantly! There was no judgement or contempt in her demeanor, which is very rare, due to the fact Im very obviously houseless. She treated me like any other customer and even referred me to one of their competitors for a phone case since they didnt sell the kind I needed. I wish I could remember her name so she gets recognition for her outstanding service and professional courtious personality!

I went into the AT&T store and expected terrible service. Jonathan greeted me and took care of everything without any hassling. He walked me through all of the new phones and asked what I wanted and did not try to upsell or push. I was very shocked by this and I am very gladHe was the one to help me. If anyone else goes to any AT&T store ask for Jonathon C And get what you want without the pressure

Located right by Horton Plaza, parking is a challenge as usual for downtown. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about AT&T services and equipment. They make sure you are comfortable, offer you water and listen to your issues to better help you. We left the store happy with our experience but not with AT&T in general.

Do not expect to be greeted, served, or helped in a timely manner. Twice I’ve come in and the “systems are down”. 3 employees on the floor helping customers and 6 people waiting in line. Told “we’ll be right with you”, but clearly that’s not true, so why say it? Another employee walks in and takes tile to brush his teeth before helping the obvious backup of customers. Get it together.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in awhile. I came in to activate a new company phone and they swapped in my old SIM card and shredded my new SIM card. The old SIM turned out to be not compatible with the new phone and I returned to fix the issue. They then said they needed my company to give me authorization to get a new SIM card and fix the issue even though they had shredded my perfectly good new SIM card that came with the new phone. I initially walked into the store in the hopes of easing the process and didn’t think it was possible to actually make things more difficult on me. Manager was extremely rude and incompetent and not willing to fix the issue they had caused. This took place on 9/27/19 at 10:30am.

I recently moved downtown and my phone that is only 18 months old has been losing the screen and was on its way out. I walked in and Eden greeted me right away. I told her I am NOT at all technological and would take up a lot of her time. She said no worries have a seat. Before she even asked me to upgrade she tried to look into the problem with my phone first. As I figured it was not fixable. Two hours later, I walked out with my new phone and everything I needed updated and transferred to my new phone. She walked me through all the idiot phone questions a non techy would have. She did it with a smile too! I found all the employees at this store helpful and fun. I loved their positive energy and Eden ROCKS!! She was the best! Thank you!

4star for the long wait, store was short staffed, I think there was only 4 employees and this is one of the larger stores, about 15-16 customers and of course they could help as many as there are employees at a time!Courteous and efficient once my turn came up and they apologized multiple times for long wait.Will go back to this store if needed.

This is the nearest corporate office to my location and is a 4 hour drive each way. I had to drive there 5 times in 4 weeks to simply upgrade my tablet and hot spot. First they sent me a defective tablet, then they replaced it with the wrong tablet, then they failed to activate my hot spot probably so I had to drive an additional 8 hours to activate it. Then they failed to remove the defective tablet from my account. They assigned the wrong number to my tablet. They are great at placating customers, but terrible at following up with their service. I dedicated over 90 hours to simply upgrade my tablet and hot spot.

Let me preface this with the fact that everyone we dealt with in the store was great but what followed has been a nightmare of an ordeal-On January 4th, 2018 I purchased a new iPhone X thru the AT&T store at 252 Broadway in San Diego. AT&T was offering a buy one get one free deal for an iPhone 8 which I took them up on and gave that iPhone to my wife. But she decided that she would prefer the larger iPhone 8 Plus so we returned to the AT&T store a few days later and was told that we would only have to pay a $200 upgrade fee to which we agreed.But AT&T began charging me monthly installments of $31.67 for the full price ($949.99) of the free iPhone 8.I contacted AT&T and explained what was happening and they said I had to take it up with the store manager which I did. I had to go back down to the store to talk with him but he promised that he would get it handled and a credit would soon appear on my account - but it never did.I contacted AT&T several more times - including the store manager, AT&Ts corporate billing department and a several other departments, each time getting an assurance that it would be handled on the next billing cycle but it still has not been resolved.AT&T has now just charged me for my 10th monthly installment payment!At this point I have no faith or patience remaining in AT&T getting this resolved and have just filed a complaint with the BBB to try to get intervention and resolution...

All the stars for Jimmy, but had to take off one because it is still AT&T we are talking about. I have had AT&T since high school and cant bring myself to switch carriers, no matter how many stupid people I deal with or millions of dollars I pay for barely using my phone. It would be a terrible thing, except JIMMY at the downtown location is AMAZING. He seriously is one of the only reasons I have stayed with this carrier. He is the best person Ive ever worked with in my 14-16 years with AT&T/Cingular/AT&T and I wish there was a Jimmy every time I needed customer service from any business. All the people at this spot are sweet, but Jimmy is THE BEST EVER. All caps, so you know its true. Hes super honest, funny, smart, and knows whats up. Make an appt first!

The saleman in AT &T shop lie to sell staff, do not belive what they say.and their manage just let he do it.I walk in and ask a SIM card which can used both in China and US. they show me and sell it to me. but actually it does not work at all. they keep saying it is misunderstanding, no refund no solutions.while the T-Molie nearby is honest and direct says T-MOBILE have no service in China. Some of the reps take far too long with each customer, be it joking around, trying to upsell, or just being slowI went in to buy the Note 8, just pay for it and leave, could have been done in 5 minutes. Instead I waited a solid 45 minutes just to buy a device I knew I just wanted to pay for and leave.Jimmy is on point though, gets things done.
