More like 3.5 but I’ll probably be back. At first I did not like their chai latte, it got better as I kept drinking. It’s definitely too sweet, so mix it good and next time I’ll ask for less sugar. But it has a pretty good taste and not too spicy or fake. My husband liked his coffee. Thought it was pretty good. One thing he didn’t like was how freaking hot the place was at 9am! It was cooler outside then inside, he said it was a hot box.

The coffee is good. The sandwiches are not at all attractive and very simple... so you decide if you eat one..😉

I think that the place is great and the food/drinks are delish. But I can no longer go back and watch how rude and demeaning the owner/manager(?) is to the employees. It’s EVERY time and it’s uncomfortable to witness. I’ll find another place.

Ive been frequenting this little coffee shop for such a long time now, that to write a review now after so many pleasant experiences is a disservice to them.This is the coffee shop to go to! The staff is friendly, professional, and most of all... the coffee and food is just what you need.Top it off with absolutely divine hand made chocolate truffles to go with your piping hot cup of joe, and it truly becomes a divine experience. Its not ironic that this establishment exists in Tierrasanta.Do yourself a favor and whenever you need coffee, a relaxing atmosphere and pleasant conversation, make your way here. No regrets. Ever.

Amazing! The atmosphere and vibe in this coffee shop are very relaxing. The barista is really masterful as he managed to provide me an amazing latte art. 4 stars for such nice people. Id love to support this place but the sweeteners they use are just too fake tasting and it destroyed the flavor of the drinks. We tried this place when they opened and it was the same back then sadly.

Love their coffee, great food, & the staff is super helpful! I ordered 9 breakfast sandwiches for our office to be ready by 7am. Everything was ready when I walked in the door & all the orders were perfect. Super easy pick up! Highly recommend their bagel sandwiches :D

First time visiting Industrial Grind. I stopped in to meet with a buyer and discuss her home search. I was curious what the flavor “Hillcrest” tastes like. I highly recommend it! I had an iced Hillcrest latte on this 90 degree day and it was delicious. (“Hillcrest” is Coconut & Hazelnut.) Service was friendly and efficient. The music was pleasant and the perfect volume. It was a nice atmosphere to meet with a friend! I definitely recommend Industrial Grind.

I had an iced mocha. The espresso shots had excellent crema. Im not sure what the grind was, but it was delicious. Slightly smoky with a touch of floral undertone. The coffee beans were well roasted and not burned or over processed. Will definitely be back.😁

I live in the area so i have to go here sometimes, and ive never had a good coffee here. i think my standards are super high for coffee which is sort of unfair, but i tried to play it safe and had their cold brew this morning and it made me wanna throw up lmao.

Love this place! Parking lot is a little weird with a one way lane (whoops). Great coffee with a selection if you wanted something different. Gluten free pastries and healthy eats. Outdoor seating, comfy chairs and a bar area inside. Nice vibe with friendly people :)

This is my favorite local coffee shop in San Diego. Why? Friendly staff, consistently great drinks (their version of a dirty chai - ask them for the name of it :) - is my favorite: iced or hot), nice, unique decor inside, and accessible and available parking on-site. Theyre a welcoming community and are a special part of the community, I think.

So good!!! I had a badass ice coffee and it was pretty fantastic. The person working was extremely friendly as well. They convinced me to get a blueberry loaf which was also great. I’ll be back very soon, I’m happy to have found you!

Good coffee, friendly staff and all around great experience.This is one of those great small coffee shops that you can actually find a place to sit and have a conversation without having to tell at the person you are talking to. Not a lot of foot traffic and the customer base is very considerate of others. Even though its inside of a rather busy strip mall with lots of other businesses.The person I was meeting here told me about the history of the people behind this business... Im always fascinated with how small businesses start and grow over time.

A friend recommended this place to me and Im so glad I tried it! I got a large cold brew with coconut and caramel flavors. The flavors are in powder form and made at the coffee shop. I also got a cinnamon roll loaf that is baked in house daily. The coffee has a great flavor! The loaf was out of this world! The shop has an urban Seattle feel to it. Will be coming back.

This place has been through a few changes and has really settled into its own. They have great coffee, pastries, and breakfast options. My son loves coming in and seeing his friends and the staff is always warm and friendly. Coffee comes up quick and they have a great selection of music playing 😊

I love this coffeehouse. It is so convienent to my office. Coffee is good and brewed perfectly. Desserts here are also good. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Couches are comfortable.

The menu is pretty straightforward and the ambiance is really nice with images of industrial areas. The service was quick and friendly and you have options to sit outside or surrounding the shop.

The barista claimed to be inexperienced but made killer coffee; I wonder how good the experienced one would make it...This shop has better choice of baked goods than the Hillcrest location with the same gluten free orientation so if youre a gluten freek, head that way without delay. Also offering sandwiches.Very nice and calming atmosphere inside with low key 80s and 90s music.Great, place.
