It doesnt look like much when you walk past, but I was practically dying of hunger, so I popped in—the definition of a diamond in the rough. I got the number 7, and wow... there are no words. A classic croissant done right. Crisp bread, juicy, stuffed with all the essentials. There are about a million options available between the menu board and all the pastries, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really cant go wrong. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

Expansive menu! Their staff were very helpful and nice. From photos displayed at the store, this place seems to be run by a Cambodian family. Aside from donuts, theres also breakfast sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, and more. I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and it didnt disappoint. Id be back for their green Thai iced tea. Its open until 3pm and the perfect breakfast or brunch spot on the go. There was no line when I went in on a Tuesday morning.

Best lil donut shop in the neighborhood! I’ve been stopping by here for over 20 years. Consistently friendly, and the donuts are delicious. They’re sweet about throwing in an extra donut when you buy a box, too. Highly recommend!

I love this place! best and oldest shop that’s non-gentrified ! good old mom and pop store that makes fresh donuts for cheap! I go every morning to get their breakfast croissants . Great staff! Yummy food! excellent.

I have to start by saying the staff were incredibly friendly!! I had never been here before (mostly cuz they close at 7pm, and i usually get donut cravings later at night lol). I got half dozen, just to sample a few different ones. First one I tried was thr old fashioned, which is usually a favorite. This one had no distinct taste....which was kind of odd. Next I went for the chocolate frosted cookie crumble original. Same thing. No real taste. I went for the blueberry next with high hopes. It definitely tasted like blueberries but with a ton of sugar. So sweet. And i love sugar, but this was too much. I only had maybe 2 bites out of each of the 3 amd already started feeling too sick of the sugar. I wish these had more hearty flavors and not just plain dough and tons of sugar coating. :/ I might try to give this place another shot if Im ever up this early again just cuz i really wanted to like them for how nice the staff was.

Im not a big fan of sweets. But when it comes to them. I go for their fresh donut with whip cream inside and chocolate on top. Is definitely a must item you should get. And of course you need to get a hot coffee with it. I definitely will come once a month to get this amazing donut. Cause I cant afford eating it everyday. Otherwise I will become a donut myself 🤣 I hope you find my review helpful.

This donut shop is an absolute gem. The associates are well-mannered, kind, and diligent in their work. The food is always served warm and with lots of love (its also delicious!). Theyre also very efficient with their work. I will continue to go back again and again without hesitation, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great breakfast and even better service.

I have passed by this place never knew it existed. Well I was looking for a breakfast bagel and this was the only place I could find. Their bagels and croissants are yummy!! Also try their Blended Coffee!!!

As I write this, Im finishing a half of a cinnamon roll. Its delicious. The quality of the donuts and pastries at Donut Factory is actually stupid for the money. For $5, I walked out with an old fashioned, glazed old fashioned, and a cinnamon roll, all of which were perfectly what youd expect. I dont understand how they charge 1995 prices in 2020 and keep the lights on.Im a fan of the more gimmicky and cool spots like Nomad, etc. but they are quite literally 200%~300% higher in cost. If you want something to go with your coffee that is dictionary definition donut just go here and support the small, old school, local joint.

Ive walked by this place many times but based on the outside aesthetics it wasnt someplace I wanted to try out. A friend of mine wanted to stop there so I tagged along and had a donut. My donut was fresh, fluffy and hit the spot. All this time I may have been missing out.

I love my donuts! These are some of the best. Plus, always friendly staff and patrons. They have plenty of parking and lots of tables inside to enjoy the donuts or something from their kitchen. Yummy!

Grossed out threw everything away. 2 stars because I understand mistakes happen but still unacceptable. Wish I took a pic but I threw it away in a rush. Will not return nor recommend. :/

Another little donut shop and café. Coming in the morning theres donuts, but not full cases, the pricing is just okay.I got an apple fritter, which looks good in the case, but it wasnt cooked well. It should have a more crisp outside, but it was minimal...plus the inside was partially uncooked....mostly soft and sometimes too wet. Although the other donuts looked okay, I would be cautious.

Basic donut shop. Nothing fancy--strip mall location. But their donuts are really tasty. I got the urge for a donut at 10pm and I googled donuts in San Diego and found some interesting places (which were all closed of course :-p )So I called this place and they were open until 11. The guy sounded like he would rather die than sell me a donut (lethargic) but I really wanted a donut and 7-11 just wasnt an option. Turns out he was much friendlier in person. I am eating one of my donuts right now. At 10:30pm I have to say this is a seriously a good donut: fresh, tasty, moist donut. Cheap too (as far as donuts go it is reasonably priced). Dont let the look of this place fool you. They really know their stuff.

Cash only donut shop that has basic donuts. They also have a huge menu of breakfast bagel sandwiches and what seems like nearly a full deli lunch offering. Its nice that there is parking too shared between the auto parts store and dry cleaners. Meaning parking is pretty simple to get Sunday morning.

This place will surprise you. The staff was very welcoming and sociable. The bill was reasonable.

Service is always timely even when they have a full house. It has a good feel to it.

Two words....Apple Fritter! Did I spell that right? Been coming here for almost 4 years now with over a year of that since I moved from the northpark area. Asked Bon (guy who runs the shop) why their fritters taste so good and he said that there are numerous options in flour and Apple glaze they played around with to get the flavor they serve. Sounds like a business that is trying to better their product.Sometimes they slip in an extra donut in for free. Guessing this happens if they have a lot extra for the day. After becoming a regular, they even worked with me to make me a special batch of a dozen sriracha glazed donuts after a bit of convincing on my part and with me providing the added ingredients. They didnt quite turn out as I imagined, but they were still good, and co-workers scarfed them down. Kudos to them for working with me to try something new.Give this place a try, Apple fritter will deliver!
