I was having a difficult time finding a knowledgeable Aprilia tech up in Huntington Beach so I made the trip down for service on my bike. I have been EXTREMELY happy with his service ever since. Hes patent with listening. Understands all your bike problems. knowledgeable with diagnostics and resolutions. Very reasonably priced. I couldnt recommend a shop more!

Mauro, highly experienced mechanic just not in Italian motorcycles, across all brands. Racer as well, yet will help you set your bike up for you and your riding style, not just to go out and shred the canyons and track, he listens. Great suspension mechanic, which is one of the most important systems to be set up correctly on your motorcycle.

After the two dealerships in town were unable to diagnose/repair the chronic problems with my Ducati, I took it to MD Performance Tuning. Mauro found two issues with the bike, that required multiple test rides and serious detective work, all complicated by the performance mods that the bike has. Great experience! Mauro is extremely knowledgeable about motorcycles, and passionate about his work. I brought him my vintage 70s Honda, he was willing to work on this bike which was hard to find (no shops have the patience for these older bikes). And he was able to understand and fix the problem. Being a Ducati expert, he admitted this was not his expertise, but he said; even if I do not know the bike, I enjoying learning about it and fixing it. That is a quality I find to be unique these days. I found his rates to be very reasonable, considering the amount of time he spent on my bike.Lifetime customer here!!!

Mauro has done the 15k service on my Ducati 848 EVO as well as do a custom tune and tweak the suspension on my Yamaha FZ07. Fantastic work, up front with the cost, and completed the work in a timely fashion as well. Knowledgeable and has a great attitude! Highly recommend for any service you may require!!

You have people who say they care and people who actually care, this guy actually cares. He found several issues with my bike and provided simple fixes at no cost. He explained thoroughly what he did and why he did it even providing pictures. His prices were more than fair, if you take your bike anywhere else you are doing yourself an injustice.

Mauro is the best hands down. I got a dealership quote for around $1200 for my 15K service. MD performed it, and replaced both fork seals for less than $1K. He did a few other adjustments he noticed were off, and didnt charge anything extra. Not only did he give me exceptional service, but he did it in less time. Its refreshing to deal with an honest mechanic. I wont be taking my Ducati anywhere else again.

BEWARE!!!! There is no way to make this long story short. This is by no means questioning this persons knowledge and abilities by any means. Although, his integrity and honesty is a different story. We brought a bike that was down at the track avoiding insurance because we did not feel comfortable making a false claim and this person has a reputation as the go to person especially when it comes to Ducati’s. Little did we know our experience with this person has been the worse ever in a sales and customer service stand point. *Full story in pictures (could not upload a picture of full transcript of events for some reason- anyone interested can email me and Ill send it over to you)I know there are others who have experience this. Share your experiences because business should never get away with these type of ethics and practices.Just found out this business is not even registered in the BBB nor can it be found in the Secretary of State website as a valid registered business entity. Makes me wonder its credibility and validity. Nor can I find him or his business in BAR and CA.gov resourcesUpdate: I am sorry I didnt specify my girlfriend is an actual customer and I was a witness who could not stand these types of business practices. Thank you for supplying the information regarding your business but made a search on all the government sites like BAR, California Secretary website, DCA and the CDTFA and still unable to find you. Not even in BBB. Besides that it still does not address how you conduct business and the events that transpired.
