I recently traded in my vehicle and got a new Honda accord from Galpin Honda. My experience there was unique. I have been a customer for the past three years, and thats why I went back to get Galpin. Ulysses Martinez was a fantastic salesman, and he answered every question possible. He took his time to explain to me about options Im driving in your car. He also went through everything about the vehicle that I got. I recommend people make an appointment to see Ulysses if they are looking to purchase a new or used car. Now, I wish I could say I was a valley girl that knew, mechanically, how to work on cars. But alas I don’t. That is exactly why I take my car to Galpin Honda. I’ve been taking my cars there for the last 15 years of my life, since I moved back to California, and they never steer me wrong. They always do a 27-point inspection of my car, check all fluid levels, check tire pressures, check for any recalls, and perform any necessary or needed repair work done (and if anything else is needed that’s extra that wasn’t discussed prior, they will call me to discuss that.) I love knowing my cars are well taken care of at Galpin. They definitely treat me like family.
Had the pleasure of working with Mr. Angel Arias-Rivera and came to an agreement on the perfect car with my wife. He was nice enough to be patient and test drive different models and find the perfect fit we were looking for. one of a kind and very friendly individual. Stay away from their service center and their Easy Care packages is just a scam, the technician will lie to you all the time and they wont honor anything they said, the last time I have my car service with them they were supposed to do an oil change and to put new brake pads but they decided not to change my break pads because it was too late even though I have an appointment for that, they told me that they would do it on my next service appointment but I knew that in my next appointment my car was going to be over 36000 miles so they would try to charge me for it, the technician promised me a thousand times that it was going to be free and even asked his manager so I believed him, but on my next appointment big surprise the same guy (Alex Yanez) that told me it was going be free was trying to charge me because I was over 36k miles and he literally said that I it was my fault because I dont understand English and that I got confused, he said I was supposed to do it on my last appointment. The technicians are rude, they dont care about you and will lie in your face just to make you pay more. Save your money and your sanity just go somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for service and Alex was my person to contact regarding the service on my car. First off he was irritated and seemed annoyed I corrected him on my destination address to my job when a Lyft was ordered for me. He entered the wrong address and said “well isn’t it near there?” How hard was it to input the correct address!? Also he told me he would call me in 3 hours to give me an update and 4 hours later after I was calling his “direct line” and text messaging trying to get status on my vehicle. I had to call the main number to get someone to find him once on the phone he had a bad attitude like I was bothering him. Hung up with out saying bye. So I stayed quiet, picked up my car and he was stuck on his cell phone on his ear telling me about my car like I wanted his personal call to hear my business. I will never take my car there again.
Leased here for 3 years. Aside from the man who originally helped me with my lease, a terrible experience. My Civic had a noise issue from the back. It was impossible to get someone to look at it. Rude, unhelpful customer service and trying to charge me for diagnostic when it was certainly something that should be covered under warranty. I let it go because it was a waste of time and energy and drove almost 3 years with that noise issue.Upon returning my car they tried every single sneaky trick from the salesmen playbook to lure me into a horrible deal for my next car. Advertised special online, just like in almost any dealership, also dont exist once youre at the actual dealership. In my opinion that is not how you should treat someone who has been a customer for 3 years.

Ive been going there for years. Clean. Professional. My service advisor was thorough and knowledgeable. My last service involved extensive repairs to the A/C system. It was 100+ degrees that week and they had to order the parts (1-2 days). They provided a loaner at no extra charge. That really helped me to remain mobile while waiting for the repairs to be completed.My only concern is the employee in the greeting structure in the driveway as you pull up. The service advisors are in a room that is downright arctic. And this person has an a/c that bearly makes cold air sitting in full sun all day. He is, after all, the first face to greet you. He was friendly and polite dispite that. It would be nice to see this position given decent cooling system.
T Nguyen is amazing sales representative. He makes the process so easy and is very upfront he does not give the run around he is very to the point which is amazing. Great service! I have been here twice now for my oil change and there very efficient and fast! Im always out of there within 2 hours! They will also recommend any services your vehicle may need in the future but dont pressure you to do it right then and there! Will definitely keep coming here!

Rude customer service on the phone, overcharges most of my maintenance like “$300 for brake fluid” says on my receipt. They want $450 for a diagnostic fee regarding my ac condenser so I went to a different honda dealership and they waived all the fee and fixed my ac under warranty without paying any diagnostic fee. No star for this place, would never come back. I recommend going to a different honda place.

He is the person that really cares about your interests and helps you find a solution to EVERYTHING! Would very much recommend this dealer everyone there is so nice! 🚨Rating 0.0🚨Couple weeks ago I bought a 2021 Honda Pilot at Galpin Honda and I got really bad experience.Since day one, the car has had issues. My car has literally spent more time at the dealership being “repaired,” than under my possession. Do you think this is fair? To my understanding, I bought a brand new vehicle that should not be having these issues in the first place. I am upset with the fact that I purchased a new vehicle with large factory defects and I am expected to start making payments on a vehicle who has undergone several repairs. I paid for a brand new 2021 Honda Pilot and all I am asking is to get what I paid for and not a vehicle with factory defects. I am stressed, disappointed, frustrated and concerned about my purchase. This is not the first vehicle I purchase with Galpin Honda. I have been a loyal customer since 2013. I never had an issue with my previous vehicle, which was a certified used vehicle by the way.Sales manager ignored my text messages and calls. Then I called Poor Customers Service they didn’t pass my messages and they denied to get me an appointment with the General Manager. Finally send the email to General manager David Gillum Jr. and of course he didn’t respond.Galpin Honda it’s not the same.
Bought my Honda civic Lx here in 2017, got a good deal so I referred my brother who ended up purchasing two more vehicles from this location. My issue was when my car hit 30k miles, and my Ac went out. I got a letter from Honda regarding an issue with the ac condenser leaking so I took it in to get inspected. Even though I had that recall letter and an additional warranty I still had to pay 700 out of pocket because there were rock chips seen on the condenser which isnt covered under the letter. Fast forwards a year and a half my AC went out again and is blowing hot air. The durability and reliability of these cars seem to have gone down and I dont see myself purchasing another Honda in the near future.

Alex Yanez in the service department is by far our favorite service consultant and would recommend going through him for anyone needing service on their vehicle. He is very reliable and has the best customer service! He makes sure your questions and concerns are handled appropriately which is a great quality! I went here today and I was worried because I know next to nothing about cars. But, an amazing person helped me out to get me what I wanted and offered me options on what I can get. This person was Mike Fogelman. We went on a test drive with the car I wanted and we went to the warehouse and made me pick the color I want. He is very laid back and he wanted me to call the shots. He wasnt pressuring me or anything and actually let me take my time on deciding what I wanted.I ended up with a 2017 Civic EX and I definitely love it!Look for him if you are going to buy a car in this store!

I came here today dead set on buying a used car. The salesman i spoke to was incredibly rude to not only myself but the person I was shopping with. My Wife and I drove one and half hours out from Bakersfield to search Galpins Honda inventory after having no luck locally. We were definitely overwhelmed with the amount of options they have to accommodate to anyones tastes. Thankfully as soon as we arrived to the dealership we were promptly greeted buy our salesperson Sanjeev. Sanjeev was more than just patient with us as we had various questions, concerns, and interests. His knowledge and experience in this field truly showed. After a short amount of time he helped us pick out our new 2022 Honda Civic. He made the whole experience easy and seemless as he was truly concerned with what we wanted and never tried forcing anything onto us. Overall our experience at Galpin Honda was amazing they truly do strive for excellence!
I had went in for a car almsot 2 months ago, and I was nervous for being a first time buyer. Once I had got there I was referred to “T” Nguyen and from the start he was super friendly and helpful. Even throughout the process he was helpful explained and was honest about it, even when reading in my old car which had some difficulties through it but being the helpful person he is he made it possible. He made sure I had all the answer to the questions I had which was comforting because I didn’t want to get into something and not know what was happening. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family just like I was. With that being said I was able to get the car I had wanted in color and trim which was very awesome and I’m happy about it. It was very easy and understanding, I appreciate all his service. Made the car buying process very comfortable since this is my very 1st new car purchase. Id also like to thank Artin in financing. In 2017 I purchased a new Ford Fusion Hybrid SE that I was so stoked about finally being able to call my own. The following two years was spent dealing with Ford attempting to fix what turned out to be a lemon and failing. On top of being sold a broken car, the mechanics there damaged my Fusion almost every time they had it in their possession (Gashed wheels, door dents, scratches, pain chips, etc.). It was unacceptable and led to the eventual buyback of my Fusion.It was definitely time to move on and Im so grateful for finding Galpin Honda! I had the privilege of having Thanh T Nguyen as my sales consultant. Ive been looking for a dealership that I can trust will take care of my new 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid and I found that in Galpin. We bought our new 2017 Honda Civic from Galpin Honda and were beyond happy & pleased! We were referred by a friend to meet with Javier Navarro. When we arrived at the dealer, we were greeted by other salespeople, who were not pushy. We were so impressed with the dealership! Within just a few hours we were approved and test drove our new car! The experience was great! Javier was very professional, knowledgeable and he will work with and for you! Bought a brand new car the day before thanksgiving and noticed oil underneath the car at the dealer. Gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was new and assumed it had to be from another car. Drove it home and noticed the leak on my garage floor. Took it to a local Honda dealer as I live 85 miles north from where I bought it and they told me there was a crack in the oil pan. Called Galpin to explain hoping they would make it right and their answer was “go through your insurance” or they would take the car back and I’d lose 9k from the price I paid. Total time spent at the dealer was four hours. I feel frustrated and taken advantage of. I will never use Galpin and will advise everyone I know and work with to stay away from them. For those who still decide use them watch out for hidden fees! We agreed to an initial price and then it was changed in the final paperwork.
They messed up my car. I’ve only ever taken my Honda to Honda mechanics for maintenance. I went for an oil change at the end of April which includes a tire rotation. When they finish they give a report on your car and any issue they found, they didn’t mention anything about the tires. I drive home and that was all I drove for that day. The next day I start my car and the tire pressure light was on. I inspect but find nothing so I call them, they immediately go on the defensive and say “you probably have a flat tire” which is almost a hysterical thing to say honestly. They finally said ok bring it back, I brought it back and they found nothing, couldn’t tell me what the issue is and their only suggestion was to get all 4 tires replaced. Shocker, not only can I not afford that right now but there was literally not a thing wrong with my car before that initial oil change. I had never even seen that light on the dash before. The whole thing is sketchy to me. It’s one thing to damage the car but it’s another to not take accountability and offer wild suggestions like all 4 tires getting changed when they can’t even identify the problem. The light is still on and I still have no idea what the problem is. My suggestion is find another mechanic
I have gone to this dealer since 2017, and typically have had good experiences. I came in today to get a lease for my sister, and was treated disrespectfully by Veronica in finance. She offered us a maintenance package for services like brakes, oil, etc. We declined that extra service as we rightfully can, and she immediately made a snarky comment saying “so you’re millionaires” and continued to make that snarky comment that we were millionaires all because we didn’t want that extra package. I was able to speak with the manager at that time who listened to our concerns, but didn’t offer anything to us for the rude and degrading comments she made to us. I just hope in the future we will be treated like the paying customers we are. And I will seriously question returning here.

My fiance and I had a very positive experience this weekend while shopping for our new cars. We both traded our old cars in and purchased new ones. Galpin and Honda continue to be the winning combo!I moved to Los Angeles from NY over 10 years ago, when I moved out here I had a Honda Element and I went to Galpin traded it in for a new Honda Accord Touring and loved every minute of it. When that lease was up I stuck with Galpin because I loved the customer service and services i got on my car through Galpin. I did however decide to go with a VW Beetle this time around. I enjoyed the car but didnt enjoy not having a service plan like I did with Honda, and also it wasnt more practically car for me gas milage wise. That all being said, I went back to Honda at the end of the VW lease and I of course went to Honda Galpin. I contacted Armen and asked questions about the 2019 Insight as i had heard a lot about it online and on blogs. He was able to get me all the information about the car ahead of its release, he even made sure they had the color i wanted in stock before I even came out to the dealership. He handled everything he could over the phone and then had me in and out of the actual store faster than ever. Galpin was amazing they bought back my VW lease, and got me into my new 2019 insight with no questions asked, super simple, kept my monthly payments the same and just made it a pleasurable experience overall. I will send all my friends and family to Armen over at Galpin Honda as they are winning combo for a great car experience! Thank you again Armen Bandari for all your help!This car gets 600 mile range on a full tank and full charge! 55 miles per gallon! So efficient! Love it !

I drove to a lot of dealerships and most of them were really rude and didnt really look like they wanted to help me at all.Compare to Sam and Andres.Sam friendly and welcomes us to the dealer.Help me pick out a CR-V that I was looking for.Andres took over and started showing us the different specs and hidden features of the car. I had a lot of questions for him and he answered all of them with great ease and with a friendly attitude.You save the best for last and Galvin honda here is definitely the best!
The place is nice they are on top of everything where your car is and everything, checking in is easy and quick the free coffee is good too. The only thing I dont like is the wait but its understandable over all its a nice place and good people

My cousin needed a new car and asked me to help him out by going to Robertson Honda. We drove up to Robertson Honda and didnt even get out of the car. We were not impressed by the selection of cars. It seemed to be a lot smaller. I have a Honda Accord and I always take my car to Galpin Honda for service. I told my cousin lets go check out Galpin Honda. He agreed. We drive to Galpin Honda and we get out of the car and before we can step on the walk way to go inside the dealership, we were welcomed by our sales person Ulysses Martinez. He definitely knows how to treat a customer. He immediately introduced himself and asked us how were doing and if we wanted anything to drink. We got two iced coffees. My cousin test drove a Honda Civic, but wasnt too fond of the color. Ulysses didnt even blink twice. He said lets find you the color you want. We drove to another lot and found a cosmic blue that my cousin and I loved. Its a shade of blue, a shade of black and a shade of grey. Ulysses insisted my cousin test drive this one as well. My cousin test drove it and loved it. We started to talk numbers. He introduced me to the sales manager, Gorg AK. He was very pleasant, honest and a straight shooter which is definitely my style of preference. We were then taken to Mark Khaki which is the finance manager. He also was very friendly, honest and straight forward. We received everything we were promised and were extremely pleased with the service from Ulysses Martinez, sales associate, Gorg AK, sales manager and Mark Khaki, finance manager. I would definitely recommend you purchase your vehicle with them. The only recommendation I have is provide some sort of a meal/snack/nuts, etc. to your customers who are spending 20K+ on purchasing a new vehicle since you spend hours at the dealership.

So my lease was up for my 2014 Accord. So I wanted to see what were my options as far as a buyout / trade it or whatever.Walter Barry is the man you want to go see. If I could give them a -5 start I would give them a -20. Since the first day I went to buy my car I was lied to, not taken care of and was not treated well I even ask to speak with the manager and all they did was just bring me another sales rep 3x . Even tho I went thru all that I still got my car and hope that I never would have to deal with them again but I was wrong. Today I took my car in for service because out of nowhere the brakes system had a problem and lock and wouldnt release (I only had the car for 7 months). The day before I called to set up an appointment and the person that pick up was giving me an attitude and didnt help me with a solution so I just took it in as a walk in. When I was waiting I was approached by some lady that ask me what was going on. I explained to her what had happened and the issue . She explained to me about the service and said if it was tampered with I would get charged, when I told her why would I get charged if I explained to already how it happened she rudely and with and attitude shut me up.I didnt want to argue so I just let it be. As she was filling out the paper work she said I would get a call at 3pm with what was wrong with the car (it was 7:10am) I didnt expect for it to take that long and did not have a ride back, as I said that she rudely said oh well like not caring so I had no choice but to walk it home yes she sent me home walking which is a 15mile walking. She didnt EVEN bother to ask if I needed accommodation with a shuttle van or something she just sent me on my way home walking. After 3hrs I finally got home. When I got the call that my car was ready she went ahead and said I had to pay because it was my fault after I explained to her the reason again she shut me up with a rude attitude and practically called me a lier like wow the audacity of her to act like that. At that point I didnt care anymore I just wanted to get my car and leave. After all that I have gone thru and the horrible customer service I received im just going to get everything organized and ready so I can break contract and return the car I always wanted this is not worth it. I have gone to 2 dealerships and they all treated me great in the past, but coming here was the worst its like they go thru customs service class training to give you impeccable horrible service and if you dont you dont pass the class because they sure now how to be great at it.

I when to do my change oíl, and people who work there dont really want help customer, I feel they dont CARE YOUR CAR PROBLEM. And if you dont do extra service on your car what they said they got mad. It is clearly they only want his extra money if I do want they said. It is not professional. Managers have to fix this. I need people who really want to take care you car. It is urgent to fix this. So Neda you have to do urgent meeting with service department.

If you want to be in debt for a long time just for a Honda this is the place to mess you up. Overall this place is shady I regret buying a car from this dealer they try to see how much you qualify for so they can get the most out of you shady practice.

I really in between, because they can work on small part on your car, bigger parts the charge is expensive and most of the time talking from my experience, they said the part is been change, tires rotated but they actually lied, my husband took the car for oil change and paid for tires rotation and when they brought the car out, my husband find out they didn’t do the tires rotation, my husband complain and the person helping us ask and the mechanic didn’t work on it. They charge me and I didn’t get the money back and what they did was give a free oil change on my next appointment. Now I not longer take my car there, my husband take my car to a different and more trustful place. People if you take your car for a service, make sure what you are paying for is done. Because talking from our experience, since the day I bought my car, I started taking my car to there and since I founded out about what happen to me, totally change my mind, I discover i paid for quality service and they trick me placing a less expensive and last me less time and they charge me as they were placing what I ask. My door lock was having problem, the passenger door did not lock at all, I called making sure the car has fabric guarantee and they can fix it, what was my surprise a new car did not have no more guarantee, I ask for price the price was over expensive and have to leave the car to get it fix, my husband ordered the part on eBay same part, got it on accesible price and my husband fix it at home, we only paid $35 dollar. Comparing to dealers part is overpriced and is seems not right. Just watch and be-careful people.

This review isnt about the dealership itself but about the Internet Director Edgar Barron.Edgar is a super pushy salesman that disregards a persons personal life.I was at work and Edgar decided to call me 8 times in a row. I couldnt even get my phone on silent since he continued to call back to back.After the phone calls, Edgar continued to harass me with a barrage of text messages. It was nonstop! I called the dealership and tried to get a hold of their general manager but wasnt able to get through to him.I left a message and never received a call back. Edgars professionalism should be addressed as this is not appropriate.The call wasnt important so there was no need for Edgar to act in this way and harass me.
Went to Galpin Honda because of their ratings. After 15 mins we were greeted by a very nice sales representative Mr. Silas. We told him what we were looking for and he showed us exactly what we wanted and let us test drive the CRV-EXL. We liked the car so went to Silas office to get a quote. I told him to give us a bottomline deal and if it fit our budget we would buy the CRV. He left to speak to a manager and came back with two option. We liked one of them and told him that since it was late, we would go back on Saturday, so we made an appointment and went back as scheduled. When we got there, a completely different quote of what we were offered was presented and after showing him what was offered to us before he had his manager come greet us and he told us that he had made a MISTAKE and had quoted us a totally different vehicle🤦♀️. So he gave us a new quote with a a different APR that wasn’t acceptable. He then brought down the cost of the vehicle $1k but now the APR was 3.5% more. We offered a price we had been offer at a competitor Honda and he said he couldn’t do it. So we left very disappointed in the lack of professionalism by their management. Please note that Mr. Silas at all times was professional!

I recently purchased a 2019 Honda CV-R and had a great experience. My salesman Edgar Barron was very professional, courtesy, and patient with all my questions. He explained the difference between the two vehicles I was undecided about in great detail. After we agreed on a car and numbers he guided me through the entire process, explained all the features in my new car and even helped me pair my phone to my car. Mr. Barron definitely made purchasing a car a great experience. I highly recommend Mr. Barron and will be referring family and friends to him.
