The lady at the store was very helpful.. sorry, I forgot to get her name. Since I dont drink, I had no idea there are so many different types of beer! She was very helpful and hubby n other dads in my family enjoyed their beers!!! Will definitely go back if I ever need it more gift ideas.

Ales Unlimited perhaps *used* to be dedicated to beer, but they have clearly branched out, and in such a tiny building that translates to a disappointingly small selection.That having been said, they do have some very yummy beers amidst the wines, hard hooch, and european foods.

Ales Unlimited is a hidden gem. For anyone with Celiac, gluten intolerance, or avoids gluten, Ales Unlimited has the best gluten free beer selection in the city (in my opinion).This place simply rocks. Stop in, say hello, you’ll understand.

Local corner store by my apartment. So convenient and they have some great stuff. Only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is the crazy high prices at times. Sandwiches are good, sushi is quick and convenient. Chicken special on Mondays is a great deal.

Im in town for a conference and wanted to bring home some souvenirs and the person working was so helpful and knowledgeable about getting me some cool / rare local beers to take home to Georgia with me. This shop is a gem. They have an excellent collection of beers from around the world - including frankly superb Trappist beers that are difficult to find elsewhere. They nonetheless have a decent wine selection too, which can come in handy, as well as some spirits. Ive always received really nice and helpful service as well. Highly recommended.

Ales Ultd has one of the best beer selections in the city, including hard to find regional IPAs (moonraker, Alvarado street, humble sea). The couple that runs the place are both super knowledgeable, and love to geek out on beer. I also recommend trying out the authentic European candies!!

Absolutely terrific selection. If youre looking for a wide variety of styles in both beer and wine, this is the place to go. Its definitely my go-to to stock up on releases from Dogfish Head. The staff are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the libations they carry.As a side note, the fact that they carry the *real* Haribo candy is a huge plus. Definitely satisfies this sweet tooth!

These guys have a spectacular selection, are very knowledgable, and offer to help everytime Ive been there. Im surprised to see so much fuss about their prices; The rents in that area are very high. The low price big box stores dont stock this kind of selection and theyre in remote locations. Logical trade-off right?

Like everyone else says, this spot has a GREAT selection. They even deliver for only $5 within the city. However, their prices are high. I am able to find most beers ranging 15-20% cheaper at most shops. I was only offered a discount if I agreed to buy a case from 1 brewery (and only a discount on that case).I came in to grab an Almanac Dogpatch Sour and a Speedway Stout. The Almanac was $13 and the Speedway was $15 - this is marked up from about $10.50 on the Almanac in most stores and $12 on the Speedway at most shops.

Lame. Did not actually have the beer as posted on line. Was not interested in helping me find alternatives. Just wanted to justify their failure. No hospitality to deserve any $.

Thia small craft beer bottle shop in PacHts is my favorite in the city. Great selection, the owner and his wife are super friendly and knowledgeable.

One of the best bottle selections in the city but it comes at a cost. Prices are higher than average for most offerings.
