Love this place, frequently come here for sandwiches, craft beer, and the occasional bottle of bourbon. They always have a great rotating selection of beers to choose from. Bonus that the owner is really friendly and usually has a suggestion or two.

Great selection of beer, including limited stock of Pliney the Elder that arrives every Thursday. Get it before it runs out! Sandwiches are also very good. There is ten minute parking in front of the store that is usually available and excellent for a quick alcohol restock run.

This place is a gem of a neighborhood corner store! Great breakfast sandwiches that are fresh made while you wait.The bench out front is quaint and a nice place to sit and eat that breakfast sandwich.It also has a surprisingly high-end selection of some often hard to get craft beers. If you are looking for Pliny the Elder (double IPA) or some of the Russian River Brewing Company bottled sours (which are not particular favorites of mine - but many love them)... These guys have several in the case.One of the best things is the short term parking spot right in front of the shop which makes quick runs here VERY convenient.So glad we accidentally found this place!

I found this gem of a store/deli because I am working on a house around the corner. Delicious sandwiches, I love the chicken bacon wrap.. sandwiches are kinda pricey, for a carpenter... but I get it, I live in the east bay now because sf was too expensive. Im sure their rent is crazy, and hopefully they pay the sandwich maker a living wage. If so, I can get behind that and fork over a few extra bucks for lunch. This place also has an amazing beer selection!

Went their for my lunch break today, Ive been there a few times buying beer and theyve never done me wrong so I figured I should give their sandwiches a try.Went for a Turkey Club but they were out of Turkey so I decided to compliment my Bacon with Ham and try out some Fresh Ginger Ginger Ale I spotted in the cooler. For the sake of simplicity I just had him put everything on the sandwich except for the cheese.It was about a 10minutes wait and I was out the door with my little brown bag.When I got home I took a look at the sandwich... thats a hearty sandwich! Lots of everything in this thing including cucumbers and YES, they use Dijon (mixed with a honey mustard).Oh geez this was a good sandwich, no really, thats a good sandwich, I regret wasting all my time going to Safeway up the street, the $2 difference in price is well worth it! Actually as I write this Im thinking of going back there for dinner before class tonight!And that Ginger Ale, that was tasty as heck too! Im going on a hunt to find that in six packs now!

A no frills German style restaurant that has resisted the recent trends to go upscale and modern, even as the neighborhood around it is getting the gentrification treatment.

I love my neighborhood deli. They have a good selection of alcohol and non-alcohol at decent price. And they serve illy coffee!

Way overpriced but good selection of micro brews, ales, ciders, and wine.Unfortunately the main dude is eastern European and as a gay man I must warn you. He doesnt care for gay people. Hes not friendly or engaging. Even if youre from here and for years gone to the store over again. Its apparent youre not truly welcome. Just tolerated. I go to Safeway or liquor store a block up.

As a native New Yorker, 8 bucks for a bacon egg and cheese sounded pretty absurd to me. However, I was starving and really couldnt resist.What fascinated me most was that the woman who made my sandwich microwaved everything. Yes, thats right - she microwaved the eggs and bacon. I was pretty apprehensive by this point, and even more so when it was placed on a ciabatta roll rather than the standard roll that Im so used to. However, it was actually pretty good! I mean, obviously it tasted different because it was microwaved, but it was really not bad. Definitely not comparable to an NYC bacon, egg & cheese though.Our sandwich also came with a free piece of fruit - still not a reasonable price!
