So friendly and helpful. We dont do artificial color. Our friends dont do geletin because they are vegetarian. We went there today to buy a giant bag of Birthday candy for our vegetarian friends. Love it here. The candy tastes so fresh and flavorful. Its a special place

I love this store more than any other one ever. I’ve been going there since I was 3, and love going there every time. They have a large selection, they have quality candies, the owner and workers are very kind, helpful, welcoming, and are very personal. I highly recommend going here, especially if you have a large budget for candy😉

The most amazing selection of Scandinavian candies youll ever see. And almost all of them are incredibly delicious. This is without a doubt one of my favorite candy stores in CA and all together.

The friendly staff are always happy to scoop and bag my favorite treats from the dozens and dozens of large glass jars of unique, high-quality candy lining the stores back wall. They regularly introduce new candy and offer seasonal candy selections. This is my favorite candy store in SF and a place I enjoy visiting on a regular basis, particularly when I can bring out-of-town guests.

I love this place! I come here every chance I get.Prices are roughly 18$ a pound for their candy. Pretty expensive for a pound of candy but *definitely* worth it.The staff are super friendly! Theyll remember you if youre a frequenter.Candy selection is big and delicious with tons of old school goodies. Theres also a few other kinds of sugary goods (i.e. Fluff) so youre bound to find something youll take home.Definitely go here! Go! Now! Easily one of my favorite shops in San Francisco.

This is a great and unique candy store! They have a fantastic selection of some unusual candies as well as the standards. Its also pretty to look at with all of the jars full of colorful candies! Dont miss the wide selection of licorice and the river rocks...so unusual and taste great!

I think its a cute little place where you can find obsure candies that you havent seen for a long time. When you see Starbucks, dont forget to turn towards Van Ness to check it out.The owner is nice too.

I was informed they have been open more than 10 years! They have my absolute favorite favorite sour wrenches! If you like your candy sour, sweet, soft, hard, spicy or any other candy description that comes to mind then this is the Candy Store for you! It reminds me of the kind of store from my childhood spent near my grandmothers house in Calaveras County, Ca. All the candy is incredibly fresh too!! 🌈 Visit this place and you have to buy something yummy! Just delighful 🍫

Find delicious old and new favorites from America and distant lands at this charming store just off of Polk. They let you try any thing. But choose carefully as pricing is a bit dear. Try the peanut butter chocolate malt balls and the blue butterscotches from the Netherlands (Babbelaar). Very sweet and knowledgeable service!

Looking for licorice?! You will find an extensive collection of European licorice at The Candy Store. Prices are roughly $15 per lb. Lots of other types of candy too.

My experience was beyond amazing! I live in baltimore and they were so helpful! every aspect from putting together the perfect gift to arranging a delivery was easy and i fully intend on visiting them on my next trip up! WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!

This place isnt for the casual passerby who just wants a little candy fix. There is a quarter pound minimum, and in that, you can have only two types of candy. Asking for a particular color earns an exasperated look. A pretty negative experience all around.

I have been a regular here since they opened and the wide assortment of candy which takes me back to my childhood and travels is something to behold.

This place is sweet! Pun intended. The owner knows her stuff and stocks all the greatest seasonal treats from all over the world. The Hallooween treats are my favorite!

A totally cute little store devoted to candy, whats not to like? My friend and I popped in here while waiting for our table at Polkers around the corner, and it was just too much fun. My friends a regular here and gets these things called French Stones, which are candies like look like real river rock--trippy! Thats the kind of stuff youll find here: unusual, artisanal, and just plain cool. The very nice salesgirl let us try all kinds of samples. I wasnt going to get anything but somehow walked out with a box of mint chocolate cremes made in England! They were divine, and so is this store.

Good candy only one thing and that is that the prices are higher than other candy stores in the Bay Area

Good selection of hard to find candies (like green tea kitkats). Especially love their selection of licorice and gummies.
