UPDATE:It is no longer chocolate heaven, now it is Trishs Chocolate, the store its WAY more small, half the store was selled, you can go and still see the old marks on the rug where the barrels used to be, the merchandise is good but not amazing like 2 years ago...---—------------An amazing place to go and buy all kinds of chocolate, they have common brands and also some imported products from Germany, the pieces are high, but the quality of the chocolate its good, the store gets some times lost on the pier strip, but the smell will guide you! They also sell tshirts about chocolate
Chocolate lovers dream.Walking around Pier 39, we came across Chocolate Heaven. Decided to check it out and was blown away by the amount of chocolate offered here. Craving chocolate? Its all here! Prices are a bit high, but this is tourist central. They offer quality chocolates and this is a nice place to look for gifts.
If you go to the store, (in the heart of Pier 39) you will feel very comfortable. Everything is individually wrapped and the store personnel all wear masks. They are super friendly too. Now of course the important part is the big decision of whether you prefer milk or dark. You will have a hard time deciding between all the yummy possibilities. I had a dark chocolate bark with almonds...so good and non pariels, chocolate with sprinkles. It was all gone too fast!
A girl could get lost in here! haha. A chocoholics dream. Yummy! They have everything you could want and more.Cute little shop. Kind of like all the same stuff is together. All the fudge, hard candies, all the Ghirardellis. Its super fun in there. We went in just to look around. But youre not going to leave without buying something. Haha. Its going to take a lot of strength to walk away without half the store. It smells so wonderful inside. They even have white chocolate covered bones for dogs. Cute little treats for your pets. Its usually pretty busy in there, and theres always a line. But it does move quickly.Do yourself a favor and stop on in. You wont regret it, unless youre dieting. Haha
I went in 9/7/2020 and wanted to purchase several items, they wouldn’t let me because I was paying in cash and they only take credit cards.SF passed an ordinance stating “cashless transactions are not allowed, fines range from $25-$500”, I explained this twice, and Cindy the supervisor said “I don’t care if I lose a sell”.What kind of attitude is that? What type of customer service training is that?I WILL NEVER SHOP here again.Funny though, I found the EXACT gift/chocolate items at another store on the Pier cheaper and the customer service was outstanding.Avoid at all cost
The ladies working there were so friendly and it smelled so wonderful in there. I couldnt stop myself and got several things as well as popcorn. They let each one of us get a free candy and the chocolate peanut butter balls are so delicious.
Thank you for responding to me however your shop has to accept cash:SF approves ban on cashless storesCity law requiring businesses to accept cash follows similar moves in Philadelphia, New JerseyJOSHUA SABATINIMay. 7, 2019 2:25 p.m.THE CITYSan Francisco outlawed cashless businesses Tuesday, ending a practice widely viewed as discriminatory against low income residents. The Board of Supervisor unanimously approved legislation introduced by Supervisor Vallie Brown that will impose a ban on cashless businesses 90 days after its final approval.
I came here excited to show my boyfriend all the different chocolates they have to offer and I Specifically came for the chocolate licorice. I should have followed my first mind and went to the chocolate factory instead, because as my boyfriend and I were deciding what we wanted we started being rushed by one of the sales ladies (Asian) and she had I guess what she thought was a brilliant suggestion which went as follows : I have two other black customers who come Jere and they always get praline maybe you would like that too now I hate to be that person but why would she think we would want pralines because we were black? If I hadnt already asked for Chocolate licorice I wouldnt have spent a penny.
Not just for chocolate!Though this place has specialty truffles and chocolate galore, you can stop in for all kinds of sweet treats and fun trinkets.Satisfy your sweet tooth with your favorites - or ask the staff to recommend something new. They were very friendly and informative on their products!
We were visiting San Francisco for the weekend and doing the usual touristy things. We stopped by Chocolate Heaven as we were intrigued. While walking around the store an employee continually asked us “what do we want?” She grew increasingly impatient which was completely out of line. After much consideration, we ended up purchasing a 1/4 lb of chocolate fudge. We brought the fudge up to the cashier and asked for exact change in $1 bills. The cashier made a snide comment under his breath. We heard him say this and confronted him about it. This is no way to treat a customer. I will never come back. If I could rate this 0/5 I would.
Chocolate lovers paradise. All kinds of sweet delicious treats. From pop rocks to chocolate covered everything. If you have a sweet tooth this place will satisfy that craving.
Very good place, much larger on the inside than expected. They have quite a variety, and friendly service as well.
I just tried The traditional dark chocolate truffles. I was really disappointed first it was not good at my taste and then I didn’t understand why the call it truffles because it s not at all. too big for a truffle that should be a bite, huge hard coating which should be super thin and bring a crunchy side, the fudge was too dry and not tasty enough. and almost no cocoa powder on the outside, which it s supposed to be the reason why we call them truffles to represent the dirt when you dig the mushroom truffles.4.25+ tax for 1 it s way too much for the qualityI felt like eat a old Easter egg.
Love there variety of many choices and there sugar free section . Best chocolate ever
Very nice chocolate store. Filled with all sorts of chocolates. We tried the chocolate fudges, six of them, and chocolate truffles, also six of them, not mind blowing, these were too sugary. Okay overall. A nice chocolate place to buy San Francisco souvenirs and some other deserts. okay prices, excellent prices considering the offered chocolates and other items at this location at the Fishermans Wharf. Friendly employees.
Amazing selection! Beautifully displayed! The truffles are stunning!! The 1 and only thing missing was chocolate covered potato chips 😊 my fave!
A lot of chocolate to choose from. Good place to shop for souviners. Really wanted to try the fudge as it looked so good :(
The shop is ok. Fudge is the best part. Dont bother with the Baileys caramels ... only tastes like caramel.
Absolutely love this place.
My favorite place each time in San Francisco pier 39 to go and get most delicious chocolate specially the chocolate with caramel and sea salt . Also great place to shop for gifts and memorable.
Loved that they had a variety of chocolates to choose from in bulk. Omg! But its kind of expensive... Anyways, the ones that are dark chocolate with nuts (of any kind) are super good. And the milk chocolate with toffee and nuts is AMAZING!
Smells amazing in this shop. Huge selection
Some of the best chocolates we have ever had! Was visiting for 3 days, and was in this store 3 times buying candy!! Brought some home. So delicious! Reasonable prices too
Nice candy shop, almost identical to the one down the street, but with lots more chocolate. I did ask them if they made their own chocolate and they said not on site, but they have a factory and they do there.
The only place I enjoyed on Pier 39. They have a lot chocolate delicious treats! You will definitely find something for you.
The chocolate almond clusters were so good and the white chocolate bark was AMAZING
I loved the variety and abundance of all sorts of chocolate. The chocolate cable car souvenir SF makes a day at Pier 39 memorable. #golocalonline
Wife got a white chocolate that was okay I got a dark with almonds Ive had much better at a lower cost!
The chocolate truffles in the case are DELICIOUS!!!! We would have left with half the store of we could have. So yummy!
Bought a whole bunch of souvenir chocolates here. They have the small bars, an assortment bag of minis, the ones packed with a toy train... You would enjoy looking at the displays, even if you do not particularly like chocolates.
What is there to say? The name speaks for itself! Im in Chocolate Heaven every time I go here😄I dont leave Fishermans Wharf without stopping here.🤗😋
A large selection of chocolate. They have other stuff besides chocolate too, and they really go in depth into their selection. Of course, they had some beloved Ghiradelli there too. Rather expensive. I bought a $15 bracelet, opened it and within a week it was no good due to the fake nature of the charm bracelet. Although, how high of expectations can you have for a bracelet like that - I knew what I was getting into. Other than that, I was very happy they had drinks here, as it was a hot day (drinks meaning coke and Fanta). They even opened the bottle since it had a beer like top. If Im in the area, Ill certainly come back and get some chocolate heaven!
Best chocolate covered gummy bears anywhere. Staff is friendly & helpful.
Average chocolate. Chocolate overseas is way better and Ive had better chocolate in the states in other places. Way overrated
Wildly overpriced but incredibly friendly staff.
Absolutely fantastic, all type of chocolate, great staff neat place
Really good chocolate, and the chocolate turtles were great but saw a fly in one of the glass cases were the chocolate graham crackers were
Im sad at the selections of desserts they were just not very pleasing to be coming from Ghirardelli, not sure if its seasonal but I do suggest adding something a little more wow on the menu.
Customer service is good. Product variety and quality are exceptional
Staff very rude and chocolate expensive. Couldnt believe you cant mix and match all $6.99 for 1/4lb chocolate
So im standing at the door at almost closing time, and guy inside has inviting expression on his face. Almost had feeling as if I was person they were expecting all along and they didnt care how long I stay inside.Tony, the guy who welcomed me there, was more than happy to give me short introduction into truffles.Go here and fullfill your wildest chockolade dreams.
Bought my first box of Sugar Free Chocolate! Never knew they existed.
Great spot for some Awesome sweets in Pier 39, chocolate w/ Grandmanier 😉🙂👌
The best thing about the place is the chocolate turtles are very good.
Do not go in there if you are chocolate fan hahahah i mean it. Delicious 😋
Sooo much chocolate need more than one trip definately
Their chocolate break-up bars are amazing quality. I always grab one when Im in the neighborhood. I prefer them over Godiva and Ghirardelli, actually.
My experience has always been good despite paying for over priced chocolates. But today’s (12/09/18) experience took a very disappointing turn, and it makes me sick thinking about it. Today, I’ve encountered with a rude, bad mouthed, perhaps may likely be prejudice, disrespectful cashier staff at this store. Her unprofessional demeanor was unacceptable and I’ve NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE EVER FELT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST!So this was my experience today:When it was my turn to check out, two other customers had been inappropriate and making allegations against me saying “I cut in front of them” when clearly I was standing right behind the two gentlemen who checked out before it was my turn, and I know I did not cut because I was walking right behind the two gentlemen on the way to the cashier stand. The cashier was obviously not paying attention as to who was in line first and so she’s made the assumption that I cut the line. I explained that I was right behind the two gentlemen and it was my turn and instead of being fair, the cashier made matters worse and said out loud that I was being rude and still calling me a cutter. Because she’s said and acted the way she did, the two other customers started taunting me, insulting me, making fun of me saying things like “oooohh look she’s mad because she’s a cutter, what a rude b!tch, something being Asian, etc” - and the cashier was very much aware of those two women HARASSING me! Instead of helping me and stop the harassment, she was slammed my bag of chocolates, had an attitude problem, and when she asked for my payment I gave her my card, after giving her my card she asked for my ID and I had mentioned it was a debit card, but of course because she was so rude, she asked out loud if I wanted to change the rules of the store and then said that’s how the store ran their business! If I had known that this stores motto is to discriminate and let other customers harass other customers, I would’ve NEVER spent a SINGLE penny here, EVER!! Anyways, when I asked why is she being rude and for her to not talk to me that way, she comes back with I’m not being rude, you are! After that was said the situation escalated to much worse. The two customers who were being inappropriate towards me jumps in and starts yelling at me, humiliating me, saying all kinds of profanity and was even called me an “Asian b!tch”, and also ready to fight me. This incident gradually turns into an altercation as one of the two customers came t aggressively, ready to fight me inside and outside the store (I was walking out the store and the girl followed me). While the chaos was happening, none of the staffs de-escalated the situation. The cashier was even in fact smiling while all of this was happening - doing nothing! My husband and 14 weeks old pregnant sister had to stop the aggressive lady from hitting me outside the store! If the cashier never mistreated me and escalated the situation, I would’ve never experienced such discrimination, never get called an “Asian b!tch”, and had almost gotten into a fight with two psycho ladies! After that craziness, I filed a complaint to the supervisor who listened and while I was in there, the cashier was still being rude, saying all kinds of things IN FRONT of other customers, making this store look horrible!I hope my complaint is taken seriously and this is further investigated. The cashier needs to be disciplined as what I experienced is NOT ok nor is it acceptable! I honestly feel like I was discriminated against because of the color of my skin. Just because I’m not white does not mean, I am to be talked to nor treated in the way the cashier did, and the customers did! Thank goodness my two year old was outside with my grandma, sleeping in her stroller while all this chaos was happening, or else my child would’ve been traumatized from seeing that altercation!Because of the way I was treated, I will no longer support this business. I hope others wont have the same experience as I did. And if anyone did, I hope they speak up! Such a disgusting way to be treated!
On the pier. When you gotta have some chocolate.
Their fudge is where its at!
Truffles and fudge are great. But very pricey.
The chocolate jelly sticks are really good. This is a fun place to visit with the kids.
This place is not at all a chocolate heaven instead it is a chocolate like store. When i read chocolate heaven, i expect everything to be made out of Chocolate. But no. Not the floor, nor the ceiling, not even the walls are chocolate. I remember hearing the name and i got excited but when i like the walls to see if they are chocolate they are not. SMH very disappointing, if you were looking for the same experience as me be prepared to be dissented.
Just like the name says, Chocolate Heaven love it totally coming back to refill my sweet craving
Best place for chocolate, so many different tips 😎
All sorts of chocolate. Beautiful truffles and white chocolate too.
Everytime I cross this shop I get chocolate craving. I often visit this shop to try different chocolates. It has uncountable options that you wont bore any no. of time you visit this place.
Good options including gluten free chocolates.
Crowded and didnt get to go in . Never went there before
Wow if you love candy go to this shop.
A must stop for visitors to our great city!
Many kinds of Sweet chocolate and you can buy it by per pound.
A must stop at Fishermans Wharf on Pier 39. Great selection of San Francisco sweets.
While the service was great the divinity and the honeycomb choclate was obviously not made fresh - both items purchased were hard, I threw them both out. I usually get divinity at candy shops that sell it since it is rare I find this fudge but buying it here was the worst Ive had......
So many choices. Everything I bought was delicious!
Nice selection of fine chocolates, but can be a bit on the expensive side
The food there look really good but as I was getting my treats packed up a mouse ran in front of me and this lady with her baby... it was. Disgusting..🤮
This is the best place ever! the chocolate here is amazing! and the service here is too!
Loads of variety, it really is chocolate heaven! Very happy they have hot chocolate sachets too!
Good chocolate! Great place to get sweet souvenirs 😋
Great candy cant wait to visit again

Chocolate was meh and expensive, tried two white chocolates but were hard and mediocre at best
The selection is so vast and crazy. I could spend a 24 hour period in here. The truffles are to die for.
Nice place no t good client service
Love chocolates... Taste like heaven!
They have the greatest block of Rocky Road I have ever tasted!!
Excellent place for chocolate lovers. A lot of different gifts.
OMG- its all in the name
