This is the best LensCrafters store that iv’e ever been to! The customer service was impeccable and they really took the time to cater to my needs. I walked in feeling anxious about finding the perfect pair for me but I walked out feeling excited and comfortable with my purchase! The team is so sweet, understanding, and a pleasure to be around. Great staff and service on both the retail and optometry side.Huge selection of frames from lots of great brands. Knowledgeable and helpful retail staff are very patient and helped me get the best frame for my face. They were also very helpful in understanding the cost structure and helped me get the maximum value from my insurance benefit.The optometrist I saw was very nice and did a great job helping me with my prescription. Also was very informative about my eye health and what they were looking for. I’d note they have some very high tech tools for diagnostics.More specifically, my most recent visit was tied to a time sensitive disaster with my previous pair of spectacles and the staff went above and beyond to help me get sorted with new lenses ASAP.

I was so lost and anxious at the thought of getting my eyes checked out. Let alone figuring out what frames fit my face and looked good. Everything from start to finish eased my anxieties. Dr. J was very thorough during my eye exam and made sure I understood why each individual test was being done. Brianna was absolutely amazing as well, upon stating I had no idea what frame “looks good” on me she immediately had an idea of what might be a good fit for me. I eventually settled on a frame she recommended. Still can’t believe how good of a job she did. Her friendliness and enthusiasm made it such a wonderful experience. This place is doing it right! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, he listened to my wishes and preferences, and got me exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. The store has a convenient location and a fine selection of frames. Most important, they can really finesse lenses! In the past, the people at this store helped me out in a BIG way when it turned out that the prescription from my ophthalmologist was incorrect.

The optometrist was excellent! She really helped me find the right contact lenses that work for my lifestyle and eye sight needs. The rest of the office staff was very friendly and professional. I always have a very positive appointment when I go to this location and therefore I continue to go back each and every year.

This store rocks ! I passed by this place on Friday after 5pm didnt know it was still open for business. I I inquired if they can replace 17mm nose pads with the exact same size and style, luckily they had what I was particularly looking for. The store person Jesse did an outstanding service to replace the nose pads plus cleaning after I waited around for about five minutes. The biggest shocker is they didnt even charge a fee, it was a free service offered by LensCrafters !

Amazing service!

The manager of this store alleged that the one year protection plan bought at LensCrafters in Canada is not valid here in the US, since Canada and US have different systems. This is false. First, the Canadian store assured me its valid in both US and Canada. Second, the OFarrell store a few blocks away had no issue finding the record of my purchase and getting me a replacement. I am not happy about being refused service but there isnt much you can do when the manager doesnt know what he is doing. Not like you can talk to the manager of the manager.

The staff at this location are really friendly and helpful. The manager is great and engages everyone that walks in the door within moments. Brianna is super helpful and stays one step ahead of requests -- for example she started making me profile to check the cost of my glasses with my insurance before I asked.

It was super easy to make an appointment. The doctor saw me right on time and she was very competent, which was really reassuring. I left with an improved prescription and they gave me enough sample contacts to hold me over till my new order arrived. Ill be coming back for any needs related to my contacts/glasses. Proximity to the Montgomery St MUNI stop was really convenient too.

Dr. Reed took time to explain everything in as much detail as I requested.

The eye exam itself was thorough and very helpful.I have enjoyed prior visits more- there seemed to be more confusion and miscommunication this time.1) When a last minute delay came up at work, I called to see if it would be OK if I arrived at the 5 pm appointment at 5:10pm. I was told that I would then need to reschedule the appointment. So, since I wanted the appointment on 10/22, I Really rushed to get there close to 5 pm and then found myself waiting for awhile before the exam to start. I usually don’t mind waiting, but this was frustrating since I had rushed to get there by 5 pm.And at the end of the exam I was given my prescriptions and no further directions. Since I had a dinner date, planned to come back in two days to order some contacts and glasses and there was no one at the take in desk, I left the office. Then a worker ran after me to complete the check out. It hadn’t been clear to me that I needed to do that then since I was planning to come back two days later. Just confusing and more clear direction would have been very helpful.

Came here on Tuesday Morning and all the staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The attendant fixed my glasses with extreme precision and the optometrist spent a good amount of time on me to make sure my prescription was comfortable and just right!

Doctor called me blind approximately 7-8 times throughout my appointment. Even Im very near-sighted, its rude and insensitive to call someone blind. Examples of what she said: dont worry, youre still blind; its better but youre still blind; even though youre blind, you still want to be able to see, right? I wont come back.

I ran out of contact lenses right before a holiday weekend when my main provider didn’t deliver my contacts on time. Justin and the team at Lens Crafters got me the lenses I needed 5 minutes after walking in and I was ready for the weekend. THANK YOU Lens Crafters!

For such a small store it felt intimate and refreshing your frame selections were amazing compared to bigger locations the display cases were clean and bright which made it fun to shop Thanks!

The doctor there is 5 stars, but the staff on the sales floor seems below average. This is my last Lenscrafters visit. Dont fall for any of the Clarifye stuff, independent doctors usually have more up to date equipment sadly.

Staff here is sub-par at best. I called to book a new patient appointment here and while on the phone they couldnt find my name under my insurance in their system, but the lady said shed look into it. I arrived for my appointment and they still werent able to pull up my insurance. Ive had this issue before and my benefits coordinator had instructed that the eye provider has to call my insurance to verify. The store manager refused. She said they dont do that. Well, every other eye place I have been to has happily without hesitation called my insurance. She was being lazy. I had to call them myself and try to explain everything to the store manager that the insurance person was saying to me, and she didnt even try looking with my social security. The store manager was also on a conference call on speaker that you could here while there were customers in the store. All I wanted to do was get my eyes checked and give them money!!!Needless to say very unprofessional, I have told all my colleagues and friends not to go here unless they want bad service.

With an appointment I was seen and examined by a fantastic doctor. I would recommend to friends and family.

Poor customer service. Walked in and the two attendants just kept talking while I stood two feet away. Didnt acknowledge I was there. They stopped talking and after a few seconds of awkward silence, one attendant finally greeted me.Dr.Lam was awesome. The eye tech was so so.Aside from the doctor, they all need training on how to service customers. Wont be back again.

As soon as I was seen by Dr. Robin, I knew that Id be coming back for more appointments and purchases. As a doctor, she is extremely professional and knowledgeable in her expertise. She made me feel so comfortable and explained the exam process from start to finish. Beyond that, her staff was helpful from making the initial appointment to checking out. The office is modern and carries every selection possible- from basic frames to trendy designer eyewear. I couldnt stop raving about my experience and eventually my whole family also started seeing Dr. Robinfor their eye care needs. Thank you, Dr. Robinand team! Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Update:The after-sales service of LensCrafters is fine, they replaced the defective frame for me. If they are more responsible, and could check the qualities of the glasses before giving them to the customers, it can save the time for both the customers and themselves, too! Now I revise the rating to 3 stars.Original comment:If you really want to buy some high quality staff which worth the money you paid, I dont recommend you to come here!I paid $450 to buy a pair of glass. However, when I picked up my glass, I found one screw on the frame was mostly stripped, and another screw on the other side was not original screw, they may strip that one too, they replaced it with a slotted head screw (original one is philips head screw). Then I refused to accept this glass, I dont want to spend $450 for this defective frame. Then, they said they will order a new frame. But after one hour, lenscrafters called me told me they find a new frame, I went back and found they just used the demo frame, how could I know this? 1, the demo frame tag was still on the frame. 2, there were some paint peelings on it, thats why I told them to order a new frame for me at the beginning, now they just gave me the demo one and told me it is a new one. They still strip the screws a little bit. The screws were black painted, when they were stripped, the silver color came out. I believe thats their technicians skill level, what could I expect more? So I took it, just because I knew they couldnt do better than that, even I asked them to order new frame, theyll strip the screws again. I dont want to waste time on this. But I was not happy with this experience. I give lenscafters 0 star.The 1 star I finally gave are for one of their employee, he was a really nice guy and willing to help me to find the frame fits me well.

Horrible experience. Waited 3 weeks to get my glasses ready. Nobody gave me any information. I had to call each time and ask if they were ready. They did not call me back when they were ready. And when they were ready, the glasses were horribly fixed on the frame. Not profisional at all. I asked for reimbursement, and got it. This is why i put one star.

Ordered a pair of glasses, then was informed that they were unable to process them because the original clerk didn’t know the necessary requirements for my frames . Then I had to return to the store (in downtown), pay a higher price for glasses, and then the ETA for glasses created was even later

VERY EXPENSIVE. Purchased lenses with the scratch protection. Lenses got scratched a few days later. I called LensCrafters and they refused to do anything about it.
