My fiance and I got our wedding bands and engagement ring fitted and fixed up with Lauren and Terry. They were so excited to see family heirlooms and help us get them shining again. I can tell they both love what they do and got everything done in a few days.When the engagement ring was a little too big they sized and fixed it in less than a half hour. I initially came to Lauren on an appraising mission after finding her through the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, and that conversation led to a discussion of how to repurpose some of these family heirlooms into jewelry I would actually wear. Specifically, an engagement ring and wedding bands.Lauren was SO thorough and provided me and my (now) fiancé with so much information, and we are so grateful. Im certain she spent over 5 hours with us, between phone calls, emails back and forth to understand what we were looking for, and in-person (COVID-safe) appointments. Not only did she totally understand our visions, but she was transparent about pricing and helped us find ways to work with our budget. I was lucky to have a family diamond and a number of smaller diamonds from other pieces of jewelry, and she suggested that rather than designing something from scratch (especially since what I wanted was a more simple design), to find an existing setting that would fit my stones. Genius!I also had a bracelet that Lauren transformed into our wedding bands. For mine, she took special care to make sure that it would fit well and sit flush with my engagement ring, and with my fiancés she provided lots of examples of hammered styles to help him visualize what his final product would look like.Honestly, we felt so supported and taken care of the whole time, and I am SO happy to recommend Lauren O Jewels for any of your jewelry needs. I love my ring(s) so much, and it is so meaningful that we were able to repurpose my family heirlooms to create them.

If you’re looking to repurpose a family stone or just want something custom - save yourself some time and meet with Lauren first.We were lucky to have inherited an engagement ring from a grandparent and decided to build a new ring with the diamond that fit our personalities, but weren’t sure exactly what we wanted. After doing some research we checked out another highly rated place in San Francisco where we were told in our consultation “come back when you know what you want and we’ll build it”.Lauren’s process was distinctly different in a really great way - over the course of a couple design sessions (that were surprisingly fun) a final design emerged that we were really excited about. These sessions included sketching ideas, playing around with actual gem stones, a digital 3D modal and lastly a 3D wax print of the setting.Another thing we appreciated is that she charges a flat fee for the design work so we never felt pressured to blow our budget on up-sells.

Amazing jewelers, service was more than amazing. Came in to get a ring appraised, left with what looks like a brand new ring. Terry cleaned it appraised it and made my diamonds look even better than when I bought it.Definitely recommend this company to anyone. Also, their prices are very reasonable.

I am so lucky I found Lauren O who did an amazing job on two projects. The first was an appraisal on my grandmothers engagement ring. Lauren was easy to communicate with, easy to schedule an appointment with and reasonably priced. Not only did she do a great job with the appraisal, she also took a quick look at a couple other pieces I brought in giving me advice on whether to appraise or not.Lauren was so great, I decided to go with her to refurbish my dads onyx ring. She came up with some great ideas to make the ring not only look new, but look better than the original. She added a gold bevel around the stone for a cleaner look, polished the existing stone so I wouldnt need to replace it with a new custom cut stone and cleaned up the very faded designs. She did all of this with a very fair price. I highly recommend Lauren, she is fabulous to work with.

I wanted a very untraditional and unfussy wedding ring and couldnt find anything I liked. Then my grandmother-in-law gifted me a few items from her collection that needed new settings or repairs. I took the lot to Lauren and instead of repairing, we designed the ring I was dreaming of! The process was easy and fun. And my ring, is one of a kind, totally affordable (granted, I owned the stones) and it was handcarved. It means so much to me and the process which seemed at first intimidating, was fun and easy thanks to Laurens knowledge, resources, and warm manner. I cant recommend her highly enough.
