My now husband purchased my engagement ring from SF diamond exchange. He was able to purchase the center stone set in a temporary band, which meant I got to come in and pick out my own band! The band was ready quicker than they had estimated and was beautiful. It did require re-sizing a couple of times but now it fits great. Because of the great experience we had with the engagement ring, we also decided to purchase our wedding bands from here. Because they were closed for COVID we weren’t actually able to come try bands on in person until the month of our wedding. Both of our bands were customized, my husband was able to get his just before the wedding. My band took a little while longer but Vivien and Sandra maintained communication with me to give me any updates on the status. The result is I now have a beautiful wedding band I love, completely worth the wait. I plan to use SF diamond exchange in the future for other jewelry plans! Would and have already recommended to friends and family.

The ring (1.00 CT heart bezel set diamond ring 18 TWG) I received is absolutely beautiful! My husband said that when he picked it up that he could see it sparkle from across the room. Vivien is simply amazing! I spoke with her on the phone about a diamond necklace from their website. I wanted a bigger size diamond and Vivien was so patient with texting me different diamond options within my budget. I made an appointment to try it on and fell in love! Just had my third amazing experience at San Francisco Diamond Exchange. I feel like family when Im there. Replaced my wedding band with a bigger, even more beautiful band. Got an amazing price and they even took my old band and put a stone of my choosing (garnet) in it to replace the diamond we put in my new band for free! I now have 2 amazing rings! Ive introduced friends and they keep going back. But the most important referral I made was for my daughter and son-in-law. They were on a tight budget and also visited numerous retail stores. Even though I didnt buy my diamond from here, they have been one of the most helpful places I have been to. First of all, it is by appointment only. The reason being that they do all the searching and homework before you set foot in the store. That was excellent and very helpful. If you dont know anything about diamonds they will help you too. I was impressed by their service. Oh, and they have competitive prices.I will definitely come back for any of my future jewelry purchases. I give them two thumbs up!

With so many vendors in the high end jewelry market, buying a diamond can be quite difficult. For me, the most important factor came down to trust. I wanted to work with a family business which had a strong (and positive) reputation. As luck would have it, I found San Francisco Diamond Exchange by way of a recommendation (from a friend who has family in the industry).Not only did I find a company which I could trust, but they seemed to have one of the largest inventories of diamonds around. I suppose this makes sense, as they have been in business for over 50 years.If you’re looking for a diamond (or other jewelry) and are as bewildered as I was, give these guys a try. After going to a number of places around town, no one had the selection, quality, pricing and customer service that the the SFDE had. They treat you so incredibly well, explain everything you need to know, and have a superior selection of top quality stones.I worked with Ben, and he moved heaven and earth to get my custom, unique ring done in time. I made an appointment, and when I arrived he already had stones and settings picked out. He worked with the manufacturer to get my ring done way ahead of schedule and was always keeping me in the loop of the progress.So if youre looking for a place, definitely go here

Sandra Artiga is a wonderful woman to work with: Highly educated, thorough, a pleasure to deal with, but, most importantly, she is warm, kind, sincere, genuine and I am blessed to have come across such a nice person.
