Ugh I had so much fabric to pick up for my apparel design class, but the ladies working helped me choose the best fabrics for the lowest cost. I forgot to bring a big bag so they gave me a garbage bag to put my 20+ yards of fabric in! Im definitely coming back to this place :)

I always find the most FABULOUS inexpensive but QUALITY fabric here. Its a pretty small store, but very organized. You have to go with an open mind and not necessarily be looking for something super specific, cuz they probably wont have it....(but maybe)... also if you find fabric you really really love, buy ALL of it because someone else will come after youve left and buy the rest and youll go back for more and its gone, and not replaced. Thats just the way it is stocked here. They have what they have at the moment and thats that!

I moved from la to the east coast and while I loved the selection, the service was often lacking. Then I hit the NY store and it couldnt be better. George was so knowledgeable and friendly and we had a lovely chat as we discussed our sewing projects. I will definitely be back.

Small shop, but a surprisingly big selection. Most of their inventory is $2-4, with a section for $1 fabrics as well as higher quality $30+ wools and upholstery fabrics. Theyve got a little bit of everything.. Not necessarily a good place if you have a very specific fabric/pattern in mind, but a good place to browse with an open mind.Great place to stock up on lining fabrics. Most of the $1 fabrics are soft stretchy knits--the selection and variety wasnt as big as when I last visited a couple years ago.

Loved visiting this store, after being a longtime online fan! The staff was very friendly and attentive, despite the bustle of the post-holiday rush. Their selection of yarn and fabric was varied and well-stocked, and although I am a knitter I ended up leaving with some Liberty fabric instead of yarn! I was really pleased with the experience and hope to return.

The fabric selection is small but very high quality, including a good range of Liberty Lawn fabrics. They also have a good selection of sewing patterns by Merchant & Mills.

I LOVE this store. Everything is overstock, so they always have new things. The fabric isnt organized by type, but its fun looking through all of it. Everything is usually under $4/yrd!! Parking is metered, but you can usually find a spot within 2 blocks during weekdays.

Great fabrics & notions, excellent customer service. Ive been a sewist for over 55 of my 66 years and am pretty particular about whats available and how Im treated (and how I see other customers treated when Im in a business), and I am happy to highly recommend.

Im a fashion student and Im always of a need of fabrics that are not only just good quality, but in a lower prices! This is the store that I found online! And I just needed to go there. Yes, its far. But worth the trip if you know what are you looking for! And the ladies give good service! Know the fabric contents! And I just love it!

The best collection of fabrics in the Bay Area. You can find fabrics from France, Italy, & designers here. They are expensive. Staff is helpful.

They had just the right supplies that I needed for my Halloween costume.

The staff was extremely rude and more concerned with chatting to a friend than helping me. They were also overpriced. I left and went down the street to Satin Moon Fabrics where they not only helped me get what I needed, but did it with a smile.

Staff were extremely friendly, I felt welcome and found exactly what I needed.

Hard to find things as it isnt very organized but when you do they have good fabric and a friendly staff so long as you dont ask ridiculous questions.

Horrible service, and rude helpers. White male here, went in with a bag re-appolstery project and was first told: oh no, just buy another bag. What? Then after I found the fabric I was looking for, for my project I was told I dont have time to help you, I havent eaten yet. Not sure if its my race, my gender, or something else, but I was not helped or even wanted IN this store.
