I came here from a recommendation by Americas Tires in Santa Clara. They are very transparent. My car could not get a 100% allignment, and they printed out a picture of the part needed (camber bolts). They didnt pressure me to get it installed by them but did kindly offer. I would recommend anyone to come here.

Wow where to begin. These guys are super friendly when it comes to customer service. Took the time to walk me through a quote without me giving a guarantee that I would use them for service. They are never trying to get you to spend more money on your car than you need/want to, a rare thing to find in a mechanic. Truly a fair price for the work that needed to be done on my car. Did a valve job on my Honda CRV for $200, I was blown away. Gave direction on what needed to be done to my car that actually fixed the problem. They were willing to give me a discount for all the work done. No joke a one stop shop. They went out of their way to get specific spark plugs that I requested without burning a hole in my pocket. Their quotes and receipts actually show labor and part rates. Shout-out to Dylan for being a genuine guy who knows what he is talking about and doing. If you are in the South Bay and need a mechanic that does excellent work for a fair price look no further.

Ive gone here for my last 3 services and have been very happy with them. Nice people, open on Saturdays and pretty quick and efficient. They always check everything, give me a call and let me know if I need anything and if I wasnt to take care of it. I appreciate that. Decent little waiting areas too.

Ive been getting my vehicles serviced at Cartex for well over 10 years now and they are an outstanding establishment. Never have I had to bring any car back that they didnt fix properly. They always get it right the first time. What I esp. love about this place is that they now do smog inspections and if somethings wrong with your car not passing, you dont have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. They do everything. I recently bought a second set of Goodyear tires from them for my second car as I loved the other set for the first car a year ago. Its just so comforting knowing they are truly a one-stop shop for all your car needs. I cant recommend them highly enough. They are honest folks there - no shady characters at all and thats HUGE for me. I never return to a place where I feel Im being screwed over. These guys want repeat business and they will continue to get it from me because they are so good at taking care of all my car needs.

I took my new Ford Edge to have lowered springs and camber bolts installed and realigned. I took instructions that I obtained from the Edge forum and left the car for the day. I worked with Joe, the owner, and he told me the alignment was just right. I am very picky about alignment and they did a great job. In the instructions for lowering, they mention to remove the rubber underneath the front springs for 1/4 additional drop. They didnt do that. When I noticed the following weekend, I called Joe and told him and he explained to me that they dont remove the rubber because it can tend to cause squeaking with metal to metal. However, he said if I wanted it removed, he would be happy to take care of it and realign the car free of charge. I decided to leave it as is and avoid potential problems...it looks great anyway. Im very happy with their customer service and the worked they performed.

Ive taken my 2004 Odyssey, and my 2006 Civic there for the last 2 or 3 years. What a refreshing change from my Honda dealer who never let me out the door for less than $1000 in repairs each visit. They only fix what needs to be fixed, and charge a reasonable fee for doing so. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service.Place is bigger than it looks, they have 8 bays.

They were really cool about keeping me updated on my car, and the diagnosing process was different. They actually send you video thru email of your car so you know whats good or whats wrong. They even give you a loaner car if you need it.

My husband and I cannot say enough about every single representative at Cartex - Mike, Dillan, and really anyone that you work with will be pleasant, professional, and thorough. I had a good experience in the past. I guess it really depends on who you deal with and their individual integrity. I am very disappointed right now. I called for a quote on a tune up. The appalling part was that he also quoted me $160 for an air filter plus labor (if needed he said). I called my local Mercedes dealership and they quoted me $35 for the air filter. I ended up buying it at OReillys for $25 and my husband replaced it in 5 minutes. As a woman driving a Mercedes, I am aware that there are many who try to take advantage of me. I didnt think Cartex would be one of them, but doubt the owner(s) would have approved of this attempt to gouge. I would still maybe give them a try, but be wary and always do your research.

They are punctual, cost effective and the best part is the prioritized feedback they give me on my auto needs. I was in customer service for several years. I know good customer service when I see it. Cartex gets top marks both technically and otherwise.

1. They need to be polite to their customer.2. Cartex need to have a good knowledge for every kind of car they accept to fix, unless they shouldnt take itBefore I drop my car at the shop, I ask one of the guys if they have a good experience in Prius door lock, and he answer me oh ya... oh ya... absolutely. Ok great, I drop my car and after nearly 4hrs I call if the job is done, then who ever answer the phone told me that the door lock not fixed, we couldnt find any problem . I took a taxi to came to the shop and ask him the job detail what he have done, and he told me we did some diagonistic and change fuse, but still the fuse blow out. I already know the fuse keep blowout again and again. Ok, thats fine and I decided to take my car and he ask me to pay $216. Which is fine if my car was fixed but its unfortunate paying that amount of money without solving the problem. As a courteously that shouldnt happen.. Finally I took my car go to the dealer pay $320 to fix the door lock. Great ha.. To save money, I ripped off $216.Good experience Ive got so far...!
