Made mattress shopping easy and fun.Gary, the mattress consultant was so knowledgeable and really guided us for the best mattress for our 87 year old grandmother.Gary was patient, friendly and was able to articulate clearly the pros and cons of the different selections. He was not at all pushy and really took the time to listen to our needs and guide us to beds that were the most suitable. He made the selection process very easy and a pleasure. When grandma needed to catch her breath, Gary was very patient and kind and took the time of her resting to give us great info so she wouldnt feel weird about stopping to rest.Gary is also very knowledgeable about the adjustable bases and showed us a great way to use it to assist our grandmother to get out of the bed with the head part raised to allow less strain exiting the bed since she wouldnt have to raise her entire body. She can just swing her legs over. We also relied on Gary to guide us on which adjustable base made the most sense. Then he provided detailed set-up instructions to the delivery people so that we dont have to remember the exact setting fir the height of the adjustable base.Gary is also a whiz at saving you money so you leave knowing that you got the best possible deal. Yes!!! You can see the pride that he takes in finding additional discounts and writes up a side by side comparison to show you how much money you saved. And since there are 3 levels of delivery, he will let you know the best one for your personal situation. That is helpful so that you get the best service level for your needs.Philip the store manager provided a great experience from the moment we walked into the store. He welcomed us soon as we opened the door and let us know that we would be assisted right away and let us know who would be helping us. Philip noticed when my Grandma started feeling a little piqued after testing beds while we were purchasing. Philip offered water to her and immediately gave her water and made sure that she got plenty of hydration. He was so observant of her comfort and caring. He also offered us water too. Later when we needed Manager approval for some Manager specials, Philip made the checkout process easy. And he was the nicest guy. As we were leaving my Grandma had to lean on his car a little to steady herself and he was super sweet to her and welcomed her to use her car to steady herself, helped her himself and made her laugh saying it was good luck and did not make her feel self conscious!Philip and Gary and super nice honest people and you cant go wrong buying a bed here! I highly recommend Gary if you want to find the best bed but want to feel like you are shopping with a friend who happens to be an expert on beds.

Our sales rep Destiny was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She made the process so easy that my decision was made confidently. From the moment we walked in, she saw I had a child in a stroller and came to hold the door open for me. She knew all the right questions to ask us, as well as had answers for all the questions we had for her. She was knowledgeable in the different brands, how the different springs and foams function and work, caught us up on deals, price breaks downs, warranties, and made the best recommendations to which mattresses to try out based on our likes, sleeping patterns, and concerns. I was at war with myself because she took the time to understand my needs that I didnt know which mattress I liked more because she all the mattresses she had me test really fit my and my partners needs. Decision just came down to which did I liked the best out of all the best options for us. Even when I thought I knew an answer, she would have me test another shed think I like based off my concerns just to make sure I felt like I was making the right choice if another mattress was a better option. She made processing and delivery a simple, understanding and painless process. I would definitely recommend seeing Destiny at Mattress Firm if you are looking for a new mattress.

Me and my sister and her family when to colemans mattress firm and meet with Lirea. She was a great one choosing the right mattress for me and my sister family to used. On the day she was by herself going backand forward with other consumers and asking all our question. She was clam and composed in her professional and great on customer services.

I purchased my mattress for my new apartment yesterday and Alicia was a huge help and very knowledgeable about their product and was able to help me pick out the matches that I needed. I decided to make some changes today and also have a delivered and Ryan was awesome, fast and easy also very knowledgeable and helpful, if you need a mattress you should get down there the sales are great for Labor Day and Ryan did something extra nice for me, but you have to go down there to check it out for yourself.

Im giving a five star review for the amazing customer service from this location. I ordered a queen online and when it was delivered, it ended up being a full size by mistake. I was incredibly upset and tried to reach out to customer service as well as several other locations, with no success. I was hung up on many times and was going in circles with the online system.But let me just say that when I called this location they answered right away and pulled up my info instantly. Martin and Desiree (I apologize if its spelled differently), were amazing to say the least. Thank you for helping me through this process.

My interaction with Sleep Train isnt finished because Im definitely not keeping this bed, but I still need to figure out how to identify a replacement Ill want to keep.I went into the store and spent hours laying on several beds. I spent about 30 minutes on the bed I chose, to be sure. But when it was delivered it felt nothing like it had in the store.I went back to double check that Id received the right model. I had, but the problem was that the floor model has been laid on by so many people, it was far more broken in than mine. In fact, one side of the model mattress was noticeably more broken down than the other side.The salesman said I needed to give it, and my body, time to adjust. Its now been over a month and I wake up every morning with hip, back, and neck pain and it doesnt go away after I get up.The side Ive been sleeping on is slightly softer than at first, but how long do I have to live with pain before my bed is comfortable? And Im going to have go through this again on the other side when I turn the mattress? No thank you. I needed a new bed *because* I was having back pain with my old one, not because I *wanted* back pain.Now I have to pay to return this pain-inducing mattress and I dont feel I can trust any of the mattresses on the store floor. Are they all so broken down that they dont represent what a customer will experience at home? If so, theres no point choosing based on an in-store test. I might as well buy from an online retailer.The two stars are because the salesman spent a lot of time with me and stayed after closing. But I guess he wanted the sale. Also the delivery men did a good job navigating tight spaces and stairs with both the truck and the mattress.

I have had several great experiences at this company including at this location. Today I met with Deborah and Nick and they gave me a great deal on a mattress. I have bought four mattresses in the last two years from this company and two adjustable bases, boxsprings and frames. Also sheets and pillows. Fully satisfied customer and great customer service that makes me feel valued and got great deals.

We were not planning on buying a mattress when we first walked in but Ernest was so helpful. He was not pushy at all and helped us find a mattress we liked even though when we walked in we had no clue. If you are looking for a no stress no hassle type of shopping experience this is where you should go and ask for Ernest (Ernie). We bought the mattress yesterday and it is already delivered and set up as we speak!

Alisha and Ryan provided a fantastic experience. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly from the moment we stepped through the door. They got us setup with a terrificly comfortable mattress at a great price and were able to explain all the differences and benefits to make sure we got what we needed. Alisha also offered to help me with correcting an issue with a previous purchase from Mattress Firm unrelated to her store. Service above and beyond expectations I would definitely return for my next purchase.Only issues we had were multiple problems with the delivery folks which seems to be a theme in other reviews. To their credit the folks at the store went above and beyond to get the issues resolved and insure we were completely satisfied.

We had a great purchase experience with Deborah over Memorial Day weekend. They do have a pretty large selection of mattresses and other bedding accessories.

I will not buy from a big mattress store again. Mattress firm specifically promises one day delivery. They couldnt deliver till the end of the week. They missed the delivery appointment and didnt deliver to the next week. Consquently, we slept on the floor for two weeks. Insurance coverage is a joke (Ergonomics) as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

My husband and I needed a new mattress pretty bad so we decided to visit the closed sleep train to us. The moment we walked it we were greeted by Nate. He asked us a few questions to narrow down what might be a good fit for us and we tried out a couple different beds. Our youngest son was with us and I thought it was great that they had an area with toys and activities to keep him occupied. After about 30 mins we were able to narrow our choice down to the perfect bed that fit our needs and budget. Last night our bed was delivered and the deliver men were so fast and efficient with removing our old bed and bringing in our new one. I havent felt this rested in a long time. So thank you Sleep Train team for such an seamless mattress buying experience!

Came in on a whim Sunday 6/30/19 to look for a mattress. Tony who ended up being our sells associate, took care of me. Me & my wife came in, he introduced himself wasnt pushy and let us be till we had questions. After looking for a good 15 minutes testing beds & my daughter jumping on all the mattress, we had some questions. Tony let me know right off the bat they had a 4th of July sale and if I was looking to save money & get some free stuff.I said thats a plus I told him how I sleep & that I didnt want a mattress that left divots. He showed me a power base with all the bells & whistle but also stated I could get a free one just with my purchase alone. After all said and done I got my mattress, upgraded my base, got free pillows/protector and saved some good money. What I give Tony a lot of credit for is he didnt come at me like a sells guy, he didnt push or say this was better or you should get this or that. Went in several times to try a Tempur Pedic, which I have always wanted ever since I found out such a thing existed. Cody was friendly and welcoming every time. He gave me tons of useful information and also the time and space to try several different mattresses. I never felt any pressure which is very important to me. If Im gonna buy a high quality item like this one, pressure will make me anxious and cause me to shop elsewhere. My interactions with others in this shop were consistently helpful and positive too. Last time I bought a mattress was at Sleep Train in Dublin in 2005...so when it came time in 2016 to buy a new one, I knew where I wanted to go, to the Sleep Train in San Jose. Once I walked in, I let Brandon know that I wasnt trying to get the ferrari of beds and the cost with it, but that I wanted something in the middle of road. I appreciated him showing the the proper section, and when i did Venture off in dark waters i.e., the expensive beds, he reminded me of what my criteria was when I initially came in, and stopped wandering over. They followed their price match guarantee plus 5%. In all honesty, I prob couldve gotten a lower price, BUT I understand that there is overhead and no matter what, I appreciate good customer service. When I need a bed again, I will get it at Sleep Train!

Bought mattress from here but found out about the horrible warranty policies later. Now I am stuck with $700 mattress that broke after 2 months. This mattress has 10 years warranty but its useless. I cant even sleep on this mattress after 2 months. They will only replace it with the same mattress which has the same issue.

Horrible Alicia was so rude on the phone shes argumentative and screaming at me for no reason.
