I love this place. The server was so nice and kind. Her recommendation was just right to me. I loved the cab flights here. This place has lots of good wine selections. Ill definitely revisit this place. It was a PERFECT WINE BAR EXPERIENCE for me.

I went here with 4 friends. It was on a Monday after work. The staff was nice it took a little longer than expected for the food but the service was nice. The cheese trays were good. I would’ve gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the homeless lady that kept walking up and Down the outside seating in the outside area with a crop top yelling and screaming loudly. It was 30 minutes later when the staff finally asked her politely to please go across the street. Not sure if I’d go back I was just uncomfortable.

Came here for Wednesday happy hour… deals are good, and drink selection is good. Hence the 2 stars. Unfortunately, our service was incredibly slow. Our server forgot about us several times. Each time, one of us had to get up to order personally from the bar instead of wait for the server to arrive. Also, the food left a lot to be desired. Seemed like it was cooked from frozen. Based on the other reviews, probably best to stick to the cheese/meat plates. For us, it’s the first and last time we’ll go here.

After my neighbor suggested this to me, I visited this wine store. This shop was very awesome. The wines they had were so delicious. They had a vast selection of wines you could pick from. The team will certainly help you pick the wines. The room has a really nice feeling. Its highly recommended!

Amazing Wine shop! They have very friendly staff who talked to us about the world of Argentinian wines. We could order glasses of different wines even if the bottle wasnt opened yet. Excellent service. The Chardonnay and White Zinfandel were the best we could find in here so far. We totally recommend this place if you look for good wine.

Really happy with how my date night went! It was such a great atmosphere and service was very pleasant. Loved the outdoor seating. I ordered two appetizers, one red wine tasting and one glass of white wine. Honestly, I wasnt expecting much when I first picked this location. However, once I saw the menu I was pleasantly surprised. I felt like I was in Napa. They had a really good selection of wine, something for everyone! I personally chose a glass of white wine while my partner chose to do a red wine tasting.

We had a very pleasant evening here with friends. They have a nice selection of wines from California and abroad to chose from. The wines paired nicely with the cheeses and and other appetizers they had to offer. The tomato and basil bruschetta and the mozzarella stacks were very good. They also have a wide selection of beer including Pliny the Elder on tap. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable. We will be back

Been here a dozen times. Great wine list and flights. The service is always great too. Good for after work meetups or happy hour. Parking is pretty easy too with street parking available.

This is my favorite hangout on The Alameda in San Jose. Ive discovered wines from small boutique wineries and craft beers that I wouldnt have otherwise come across. And they make amazing cheese and charcuterie boards and gourmet crostini that are delish. I enjoy the authentic San Jose vibe of being in a historic building right on The Alameda. Its a local hidden treasure that everyone should experience. Highly recommend.

I had such an amazing time here the service is impeccable. The team is so inviting and attentive. Alyssa, julius and kayla are the ultimate dream team! If you want to have a good time with friends and an amazing beer and food selection this is the place to go. Their charcuterie plates are top notch paired with the wine as well. Dont be deceived by the name. They have a great selection of draught and bottled beers on top of their wine offerings.The service is awesome! We came to celebrate a birthday, and the employees were extremely accommodating and kind. They helped us store the cake, brought it out with candles, and sliced it for everyone afterward.

Wine affairs is a great local spot. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. The exposed brick and wood make the space feel cozy and romantic. I recently hosted a private event and Doug the manager was so easy to work with. My guests had a great time. The food was delicious. I highly recommend wine affairs for a happy hour or large event.

This is such a nice wine store. Wine Affairs does wine well. I havent explored spirits that much but based on the web, they have a huge selection also.

We called ahead and even though it was january they reserved a table out front for us so we could have the dog with us! Thanks!The Baked Bubbly Brie is FANTASTIC! It was so good, I now order it every time I go. The Charcuterie Boards can get a little pricey for what they are, but still tasty none-the-less. Great selection of wines, I want to try out their beer selection next.Great ambiance, very earthy, and cozy.Would be a great spot to have a hip cocktail hour for a wedding. Wow, everything about this place was excellent. The food, service and access/parking. We were wowed from beginning to end. The antipasto platter was huge and had so many choices. We all ordered the Wine Affairspasta and were not disappointed. The chef sent out an order of his mamas pasta and I liked that one even more. I ordered a to go portion for my daughter. Not very group friendly without advance notice. Food is tasty but pricey and not a meal. More like fancy bar snacks. Solid beer selection for a wine bar. Staff are very knowledgeable about the wines available and can help you pick one youll like.If you use your credit card to start a tab, youll be hit with a 20% gratuity plus tax. If you pay as you go with cash, you can save a lot of money. On my most recent trip, I got two beers, $8 and $10. Thats $18 if I had paid in cash, but my total was $23.60 because I had a tab. I could have saved $5.60 by paying cash.

Our group had the wine flights and several of the appetizer plates. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. However, be aware if your server asks if youd like more bread. We were charged $4 for about 8 small baguette slices.

Our server was awesome, friendly and very informative. Unfortunately the female owner was there and she kept staring at our table in a weird way which made us all feel very uncomfortable so we left. ID rate this place a 10 but because of the weird owner who made our night feel weird I rate it 1 star. We enjoyed Good drinks and good food but not the unwelcoming behaviour of the female owner.

The place is mainly wine-centric (hence the name) but there are a dozen beers on tap and the selection is solid. Since I didnt drink the wine, Ill focus on the beer. Their selection is 80% California beers, which I appreciate!There is plenty of seating and the service is good. My friend apparently comes here at least once a week - he loves it.

Lovely selection of excellent, but reasonably priced wine and beer. They also have a menu of small plates - flat reads, bruschetas, cheese plates etc. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is that our waiter was not very knowledgeable. Hell learn.

Ive been coming here for many years and it a great neighborhood spot. I dont like in the area anymore but if I ever am I try to make a stop. I go here really for there beer selection. Their selection is great as they always bring in beers I have never seen before.

The atmosphere is cozy, the food is good, theres plenty of beer and wine options. I like that theres plenty of seating so you can usually get a booth and dont feel claustrophobic.

Nice venue on the Alameda. Pretty good wine selection. It probably varies over time. The tapas selection isnt great but what they have is tasty. Certainly way over priced. But hey, its a tapas wine bar.

Nice little place although seating is limited. We shared the baked brie and really how could you go wrong when theres brie involved? We had a few different beers 2 of which I remember. Mai Tai by Alvarado Street and Nutty Operator by Altamont beer works (yum). Ill definitely be back for more nutty operator before it runs out and definitely back in December at the very least when it comes back around.

Great food and excellent wine list! Cozy and unassuming. Busy place for the after work crowd. Big booths and tables can accommodate large-ish parties. If you see truffle on the menu, do yourself a favor and immediately order it!

The place was disturbed.

Solid and knowledgeable staff. It has lost its sparkle over the years -- the new owners dont seem to know their wines or more importantly beers. The more bar managers were excellent in this department.I would still go here, but not as frequently as I used to.

I had been driving by this place for months and never noticed it. Finally someone recommended it on the basis of its beer selection, and it certainly delivers. One of the few places in the area where you can get very unique brews like sour beers and hard to find limited releases like Pliny the Elder.

My husband and I use to go here all the time for a fun date night. We are lovers of wine and they offer decent small plates. But, a new employee decided to engage in a conversation with us regarding socioeconomic status (he started the conversation). He proceeded to say/indicate that POC do not have anything to complain about and that things have changed since Civil Rights. I told him my experience of a person of color, and despite the systematic hurdles I encountered, that I have had success. I expressed that I wish ALL people had the same opportunites, but that is not what DATA reports. He proceeded to tell me that POC just need to work harder. I was so upset that I walked out and my husband stayed behind to pay our bill. We use to frequent that establishment often and I will never step foot in there again. Not cool to offend paying customers ....
