DGDG is where I bought my car, so I always come back to this dealer for servicing. In general, the service quality has been great, on-time and reasonable. The inspection is generally on spot and they give you enough of a brief about your car and its health. Overall - I would recommend getting the car serviced here. They have a decent waiting area if you dont wish to go back home.

The service department at Capitol Mazda is tops! I continue to take my 2017 CX-5 to them even after my service contract because they know my vehicle. I had a electrical glitch with starting the car and took it to an outside shop. They scratched their heads and couldnt figure it out so I took it back to the dealer who diagnosed and fixed the problem (dead fob battery) in a matter of minutes. Never had a bad experience with Jose and the service team. They communicate clearly and quickly what needs to be done. Very happy with my purchase (thanks Mike!) and extremely pleased with the service department. Kudos to the guy who cleans the black interior of my Mazda (I have a white haired Jack Russell)!!!

Great service. Just after I arrived a service adviser came out to greet me and welcomed me in. Dennis, the service advisor was courteous and helpful. I was on my way in a few minutes. Brought my CX5 in for routine maintenance. I was checked in quickly by a friendly and professional service advisor. I was told the wait would be an 60 to 90 minutes, but my car was ready in about 45 minutes. I even arrived late for my appointment and they still welcomed me and got me out quickly. I brought my Mazda in this morning for a recall. I was told that it would take about one and a half hours. I was good with that. My service advisor, Luis Franco-Perez, asked if I would be interested in having my car receive an AntiMicrobial Treatment while I was there. I certainly was interested when I saw all of the virus, bacteria and fungus protection that it offered. All this, and my car was ready in one hour! Amazing!

Great experience in general. James was polite and thorough. I made an appointment, had my first 2020 CX5 mtce check, he suggested the coupon which was VERY impressive (that I didnt have to ask) and they installed rails and did a good job checking out the items I asked that they look at, rear back up camera scratches really evident at night, and when I accelerate hard or suddenly the steering wheel pulls. The challenge I have is the fact that the steering wheel is not steady. typically steering wheels feel tight turn smoothly but my steering wheel can shift left and right about an inch without actually steering the car in a different direction..I though when they tested it they would experience that. The late completion is my only real complaint . Instead of dropping off at 9 and picking up at 11: 30as promised, I dropped off at 8:40, it was 1:30.before my car was finished, and that was ONLY because I came at 12:30 and made a big stink about them being an hour late. Especially with COVID but really anytime I dont want to cut my activities short to sit around for 2 extra hours at a dealership. They need to determine how long it takes and only quote that time. I think they didnt start on my car until 11 which is why it was only ready at 1:30 for me to pay and drive away. It is 2020, dealership staff should know how long it takes to test drive if there is an issue, instal equipment, and do oil and filter change. Realistic time..4-5 hours seems excessive and there was no line at 8:40am so I was there early/firstJose did a great job. He was EXTREMELY helpful and understanding as I couldnt afford to pay for a full 15k service as many of the services I have had done for cheaper elsewhere (oil change, Tire rotation). He was also helpful and understanding that I did want all fluids topped off, but not windshield wiper fluid as I fill that with the kind that can go below zero. Was done MUCH faster than expected, and Jose was very respectful of my time. Made me want to come into Mazda to have other services taken care of. Jose was the only person in service that has made me feel like he was interested in my safety, protecting the warranty and not just getting money as the dealer is always the MOST expensive way to get service. He is the reason that I will come back.

They would not even look at the problem unless I signed their estimate promising to pay them $215. Wondering why I bought a certified vehicle if they are not going to stand behind it anyway.

The service advisor was an excellent professional. He explained all the things that the car needed. Some items were simple enough that I could do myself, like changing the cabin air filter. So I decided to buy the part, and save the labor charge. One thing he missed or may be my miss was free car wash. I do not like using hard water to wash my car, and then not completely dry it. If I knew the water was hard, I would have skipped the free car wash and could have avoided 2 hours of elbow grease to remove the white deposits on the black paint.

In general as technology advances we tend to loose the good old fashioned personal service. However this is not the case with Capitol Mazda. I went to Capitol Mazda on Capital Expressway in San Jose for the first time for my car service because my regular mechanic was not available. The practice of social distancing at any in person service can be stressful nowadays, but Capitol Mazda staff made a good impression by acknowledging me soon as I came. The service was flawless and personal from start to finish. The text message of appointment reminder, the appointment online option, and the detailed report on the car condition sent via email are very helpful. If you are really car lover and if they have what you want, it is not really recommended to ask them help. They are probably really good for local customers as you can see thier ratings but I would go for Oak Tree Mazda if you are in my situation. I know they have really great prices so you would think you can fly them and have what you want instantly or delivered to you. English is not my first language so I apologize for any inconveniences for reading. Anyway heres my story. I was looking for Mazda club with brembo ppkg but here in southern california, it was hard to find. There was only one left which I really did not want to take because of its color. When I found what I most wanted in their inventory, I was so happy and trying to reach them. But none of them were actually trying to help me out nor listen to me. I was really frustrated. However, I was able to get helped by one sales representative from Oak Tree Mazda which is another dealership belongs to DGDG and had a another wanted car in their inventory. I was able to finally fly up there and drive my loved car back to la. I could tell they were willing to listen about my situation and help me out. They even came out to air port to pick me up. I really appreciate their services and recommend others to go.

Experience at the service center was good, service advisor James was awesome in his dealings. Only thing is that I reserved for this servicing online, there I had chosen the option for Car wash too along with this service, and it did allow to select me that option. Once I reached service station I was informed that they are not doing car wash, so I was not informed beforehand regarding that. Primary reason I chose capitol mazda over other service center nearby was that it provided additional complimentary services, which I did not get even though online portal still says is available. Apart from that service experience was good, it was done on right time.

I came here to get my car keys reprogrammed. They completed it within an hour as expected. They also accidentally added an oil change service which I did not want but they didnt charge me for it.The only reason Im taking off one star is because they washed my car afterwards and then, in the sun, there are water spots on my car. I wash my car myself with two buckets every weekend and I didnt want anyone else to touch. While Im sure others appreciate the complimentary service, please ask beforehand if you can wash the car. If you had asked me beforehand, the answer would have been no.

I brought my 2010 Mazda 6 to Capitol Mazda Service Center to fix a recall. They provided me a complementary car for me to use while the my car was being serviced. After 1 hour or so, they texted me with the update and a detailed inspection report. They include a list of items that I should take immediate actions with price estimate, which looks pretty reasonable to me. Finally I only chose to fix the recall for free and explained to them that I can do some of them myself and for other issues I need more time to understand them better. They responded in a way such that I felt no obligation. I really appreciate their service and definitely will come to them again next time.

This place was fantastic! Arrived at 7:25am for a 7:30am drop-off. Service reps came out at 7:29 and started taking care of the 4 of us who were there. They met us at the car and started working. My rep carefully wrote down everything I needed done, took me inside and read it back to me to make sure he had it all. He took down my cell phone to text me updates, asked when I needed it back, and I was out (15 minutes start to finish). I told him I didnt need it any particular time, but he texted me at 11:00am to tell me it was all done. Went back to pick it up in the afternoon and all the paperwork was already filled out, printed and ready to go. He walked me through the work, confirmed what they found and how they fixed it, I paid and was on my way....again...very quick. Ive been taking all my cars here for service for years and this place really takes care of you! Highly recommend it!

I am very impressed by the service I was given at Capitol Mazda. I had a 1:00 appointment on a Saturday. I was expecting a long wait. They told me it would be approximately 1 1/2 hours. They had free coffee and popcorn. I sat a relaxed and helped myself to yummy popcorn, lol. And within 45 minutes my car was done being serviced! Everyone was very friendly to me. I will definitely feel comfortable bringing my car back to be serviced if needed!! Thank you again.

I brought my Mazda 6 to Capitol Mazda for a factory recall air bag replacement. When I arrived for my 11:00 AM appointment I was helped right away. The service advisor who helped me, Jose Moreno, was great. He was very courteous, gave me a 90 minute estimated wait time (including the recall work, a Full Circle Inspection, and tire pressure check), and offered to send me a text message when the work was done. I brought a book, but there are a couple of waiting areas with magazines, a TV, Wi-Fi, and even popcorn. They also have vending machines with other snacks and drinks. The work was done in under an hour, Jose went over the report with me (no bad news, but I was warned to keep an eye on my tire wear), and I was on my way.

I love the level of service and the kind people at Mazda. This is my 2nd mazda partly for this reason. It is a great vehicle but what also matters is how you are treated and taken care of once you own the vehicle and need services done. I highly recommend to buy from Capitol Mazda and get services there.

About Jeff Lillibridge.I got a recall on my vehicle, and I knew that once I bring it in to the dealership the only person I need to see is Jeff Lillibridge. Once I make the appointment and give him my vehicle I do not need to worry about the work, to be completed. Jeff and the service team make it easy to leave or wait for the completion of the work on my vehicle. Jeff keeps me informed or all aspects of work completed or may need to be completed in the future. With Jeff Im not just a customer, Im treated as a friend, always greets me is a warm friendly manner, Time is very important to all of  us.  With Jeff I need not worry about the work being completed by his service crew. The service, work, professionalism, knowledge, friendliness are what makes this dealerships Service department so Great.  Ohh I been with Mazda for many years.
