This morning I was in a bind when U-Haul would not let me leave with the trailer that I rented and I needed to transport my dirtbike within the hour.I stopped at GP Sports to see if they had any options and not only did they find a dirt bike carrier for me in the back they also took the time to assemble and install it right then and there. They were so helpful and saved me today.

5 stars for the service department. Im on a cross country tour and they were able to squeeze me in for an oil change and a new set of tires.

Bought my 2001 Yamaha V-star 1100 there 20 years ago, and Pete in their service department took great care of it until I moved from Monte Sereno to Mountain View in 2013. Needed a new battery today, and as no one closer to me had it, was happy to see Pete again and pick up a new battery.

Got my first motor bike. They open on Sunday make it very convenient to shop. The sales person was very nice and helpful. I have a great experience.

Look at their Yelp reviews. The owner attacks anyone who gives a negative review and refuses to acknowledge what they’re doing wrong here. Pathetic.

I can walk around and sit on bikes. As I have the whole showroom without feeling supervise. Its really a few moments before narrowing down the bikes that deserve to be talked about.

My bike had been sitting for a few years and the carburetor was not happy. These guys whipped it back into shape and now it runs flawless. Got my bike here to ride town to Argentina. Excellent service and they helped me through the paper work (I’m not American). The workshop is professional and friendly and the parts department is friendly and helped me get the spares I needed.Super friendly guys and gals! Would absolutely get another bike here and I will do all my services here while I’m in the area.

Great bunch of people over here. Wanted a Shoei Fire Orange sheild & they were the only shop in the Bay Area that stocked it. No problems holding it for me & were open until 6pm making it extra convenient for me to mosy on down there from Redwood City. Thanks again & will call if I need anything else.

I was in a bind because I got a flat tire on the way to work. I made it to work and needed my bike back today so I could ride it home (My commute is 30 miles each way). I called several shops and GP opened earlier than at least half of the other shops and they stocked the tire I needed where most others said I had to wait a day (Doesnt help me get home today). I was pleasantly surprised at the good price for both the tire and the service. They took the tire off for me and had me back on the road despite their busy work load. GP Sports earned a happy customer.

Found the perfect bike for transitioning from a Harley to street bike. Everything from quality, price, service are top marks. The extended warranty i bought was within the budget too. I was able to also find affordable insurance. Definitely worth the trip. Thanks George and Carlos.

Great shop, great service. Got Specialized Turbo Levo Comp. Russ was very helpful explaining everything, he rides one of these bikes himself. I flat my tires running over cactus on the first day, called them and they converted me to tubeless for only $50. Overall, great experience. Thank you!

Bought a 2020 DRZ400SM, It was delivered to me with a loose chain that was caked with sticky black gummy oil all over the chain and sprocket. This took me three washes and scrubbing with a brush to get it all off. I did not notice this until a few rides in (200miles). after cleaning the chain I noticed damage to the upper chain guide / rail. This is my first bike so i was worried it was not safe to ride, after renting a trailer and getting service they admitted the damage was caused by the loose chain. I asked if they could replace the plastic part they instantly told me its a waste of money the said they would call me back it has been three days. On top of all of this they charged me the MSRP when the bike was on sale for $500 off and added a warranty around 1k dollars without asking me. I caught the warranty during paperwork but missed the MSRP. As soon as you are done with paperwork on your bike they do not care about you. They lost me as a customer over a $30 part that was damaged because they were lazy.

The service department manager is a very unprofessional individual, very arrogant and has rude manners. I was charged over $920.00 and most of the work as per their estimate was not performed at all. I brought the bike back, because they promised to take care of the problems. They never even tried to correct the issues. They left the bike parked outside for more than a month. They lied! To me, many times.Their excuses are, we can not find parts for the bike. This is not true. There are lots of parts available on the market. They are a complete waste of time. I had to trailer the bike four times back and forth from South County to Santa Clara.I Tried to call the owner, the David Murdock, He ignored my messages.If you try to call someone there. They tell you that the people that you want to get in touch with, they do not exist and do not work there. When I pick up the bike, parts that they sold me before were taken and missing from the bike.These people are hiding!.They just want to rip you off. They are dishonest Be ALLERT!.

Bought my motorcycle in less than an hour. No hassle or BS. They even delivered to my house over 40 miles away for only $100, great deal. Ask for Russ, he was very helpful and professional.

I put money down to order a motorcycle that they didnt have in stock. When I called to check on my order, I was told they sold it to someone else because they couldnt reach me. I had not received a missed call, text, or even an email from them. Said they would help me find a replacement but they havent; nor have they given me a refund.

I came all the way to this dealer from LA, its a 4 hours drive but it was really worth it, i got what i want and in a reasonable price i mean low price on every motorcycle dealer that i have been, all i can say that it was really worth it going here i recommend this motorcycle dealer, they will really help you with what you want

GP Sports is phenomenal in all respects. They carry a great range of dirt bikes- all at great prices. Fantastic sales service. Also, Brandon and team in parts cannot be matched in the bay area. In addition to their unmatched inventory of parts and safety gear and an ability to order and bring in parts quickly, Brandon is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of safety gear. He spends as much time as it takes to make sure every kid has perfectly fitting gear. Pete and team in service have also done a great job maintaining the bikes, fitting in emergency repairs at short notice and have saved the day more than once before riding events.

Best place to buy a Japanese motorcycle which is probably the most bang for your buck.

Honestly, I was a little worried after I saw some reviews here but I had a great experience there.I have contacted them via email and asked them get everything prepared for me to buy a bike.The day I got there, everything was ready and in less than two hours, we were done with paperwork.They offered me a very good discount on accessories and also a FREE same day delivery.As it is my very first bike ever, all of them helped me patiently and answered all my questions. Especially, the guy who delivered the bike, explained everything step by step and made sure I understood.Long story short, wonderful experience.

These guys nearly got me killed. Took the bike in for a simple service. They ended up adding over double the rated capacity of oil. On the ride home the excess puked out onto the rear tire as I merged into the freeway.Emailed about the issue and they couldnt be bothered to even respond. Be careful out there guys, double check everything.

Id never been to these guys before. I was interested in one of their bikes and we were able to agree on a price. What was great about the place was that I never felt that they were pushing the sale or really urging me to buy something or get extra parts for it. It was simple and no-nonsense, which is great when youre buying a vehicle. The guys in parts are pretty cool and really helpful. Their gear/parts are not as cheap as youd find online, but its not crazy overpriced. Overall, nice guys, nice place. If I had to buy another bike, I would definitely consider doing business with them again.

Id highly recommend GP Sports. I have been to both their stores and I like them both. When I made a purchase last time, I had a really good experience.The staff are not pushy and they are not following you around the store all day. They love answering questions and keep you informed about your options. Just ask them anything!The selection is truly unbeatable. I find that they have everything that I wanted to take a look at. I would like to see the bikes better. A little more floor space to walk around them, and get a better look. Competetive pricing friendly top notch service. I would buy from them again. Need to upgrade the accessories department, and get some realistic pricing on service center.

GP Sports might not have the largest in-store selection (but its still fairly large), their parts department might not have the largest in-Aaron selection (but they can order almost anything you need/want, plus they receive quickly enough), and they might not have an abundance of mechanics (but their mechanics are extremely knowledgeable) on staff. That being said, they have a HUGE customer service attitude, theyre willing to work with you to help make sure you get what you want, the location couldnt be better, and the staff is very friendly. Whatever your needs...mechanical work, a new/used bike, accessories, etc...theres a 99.9% chance they can help.

Its a great bike, lots of fun for anyone. The peppy 72cc. engine, semi-auto clutch makes it even more fun for my son (and me). The only reason for the 4 star performance rating was the carb work I did later on. I bought it new and the bike came way too rich from the factory, (very black sooty plug). After the slight mods, the bike started easier and the throttle was a little more crisp, not to mention a better burn on the spark plug.

Bought a motorcycle here. Good dealership - no imposed services and fees, friendly staff. Would come again.

If I could give zero stars I would. I broke down on my motorcycle but was able to limp it to GP sports. All I needed was a battery which I called in advance to have them hold it for me. When I got there I went to parts department, 2 employees talking to each other ignored me as long as they could. One finally asked the other where I could get my battery, Oh he needs to go get it from service. So I went do service... you need to go up stairs and pay for it not realizing that I couldnt pay for it in service. Go pay for it bring the receipt, I asked if I needed an allen wrench could they lend me one and the answer was a firm NO. I was surprised in the lack of motorcycle community, concern and complete lack of caring. They seem to act like their departments are 3 completely different businesses.

Just bought an 06 gsxr 1000 & got a recall notice in the mail from Suzuki, so I called up & made an appointment to have it done.I have to say, what a friendly, professional group of guys in service! They treated me very well, handled my appointment right away, did the recall while I waited & did it perfectly the first time!Ill definitely be using their service department for any repairs i need!thank you

I always get my honda parts here from their parts section. They usually have what i need; if not, its always there within 3 days and they always make sure to give me a buzz when it comes in first thing! Quality, fast, reliable! I know how sometimes work can be a bit much, but they always seem to maintain a positive vibe. Just wish you guys were open Sundays or Mondays.

I got a brand new motorcycle from here and part of the deal was getting some accessories from Suzuki. Well, it has been over a month and my accessories are still not here. I understand how it is Suzukis fault for not shipping the accessories on time, but where I come from they have that thing called customer service. I dont think these guys know much about the art of keeping customers happy. No updates, no attempts to throw a small freebie, they simply dont seem to give a damn if the customer is happy. Once you sign the check youre put on permanent hold. Gotta keep calling back, chasing them down for any info or update..By the way - if you are looking at these reviews you should definitely check them out on yelp. Not a pretty picture...

I brought my daughter with $$$2k cash on hand to buy a dirt bike for her birthday. I was there for 30min trying to figure out between to dirt bikes, but I was never greeted and or acknowledged. I went inside and sales personal just looked at me and continued with their convo. There was none else there but employees. I kept walking in and out hoping someone would sell me a dirt bike but no luck. My daughter was so upset I had to explain to her that we just needed to go somewhere else which sucks because I bought 4 motorcycles 6years ago from this place, but now they suck. Day that I came in was 7/5/2018.

I give them 1 star for answering the phone the rest is all down hill. I bought my quad for a hefty 10k and now needing service on the bike is like pulling theeth. Asked if one of there parts guys can look at the part that was broken so I can order it and they say they cant guarantee it and Im driving 30 miles out. Now thats what you call super service. When I bought the quad those were my first questions and they said service is the best. Now hearing from other people how bad there service is I would had made a different choice for sure.

Loved that they are not pushy when you are just shopping around. The sales guy was very polite and helpful, answered all of our questions.

Great service and reasonable price

I purchased a 2016 yamaha r1 from gp sports cash.i was at q stop light and motor all of a sudden starts knocking. yamaha gives you a 1 year warranty.i was 4 months too late.so I tell russ and he suggest I take it too service and talk to pete.so 3,000$ later my motor is rebuilt and I ask why the original estimate had rod bearings and crank bearing itemized and work order when I payed bill did not have them.pete said he used my old ones.(I could not believe what Im hearing..) ok so I move on..2 days later Im smelling coolant..take it back and pete says I dont smell anything its maybe burning off.ok i move on..3 weeks bike starts running on 3 cylinders.pete does a leak down test says everything is ok..problem is I put a bolt not tighten all the way to see if they even took my bike apart to leak test..fail.they never even touched my bike..so long story short.a different shop diagnostics bike and piston rings fail.now I have to take gp sports to court .they said to me go %uck yourself...gp sports has been screwing people over in service for years now. I have communication with 4 people from yelp .that have almost same situation as me.martin is the master mechanic doing substandard work and having a attitude that is absolutely not professional. On yelp there is a woman named jessica that respondes to reviews.all she does is cover up by saying its customers fault for bad experience...trust me do not get your bike worked on at this dealership...trying to get a class action lawsuit going..thank you

HORRIBLE experience!! Placed an order for items and got a confirmation email that the order was received. Did not receive any updates or a shipping confirmation. After 5 days, checked status of order online and it still only read received. Sent and email inquiring about order status beyond received and DIDNT RECEIVE A REPLY. Got so mad, just cancelled my order. Will not order from them again.

Great place to buy a motorcycle, scooter, jet ski or any kind of all terrain vehicle.I walked in knowing pretty much what I wanted to buy and how much I should expect to pay. They did not mess around trying to upsell me on any of it and I left with exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay.I will definitely take my Honda Forza back there for any service I may need on it.

Lots of bikes, quads, scooters to choose from, friendly sales people. Didnt see any riding gear, parts or accessories. Edit: Im blind, go upstairs and a parts counter, apparel and moto stuff magically appear. Outside to the left of the ramp is the service dept. Showroom is still crowded but the place is much more than it initially seemed.

Im happy with the service I received here. They seemed well organized and had great communication.

This is the second Yamaha ATV Ive purchased. This one is intended for the wife. Im pleased with it for the short time Ive been allowed to play! I would recommend the ATV. Favorite acc: EPS!

Reasonable selection but bikes are a bit tightly packed. Was there for 30 minutes and no one approached us to answer questions, etc. There were a few employees there and most were on their phones.

They did a post high-side inspection and estimate for my insurance company. They were so informative about repairs, gave me a fair quote, and I greatly appreciate the detailed report and their customer service.

Good servicegood vehicles

I was a true blue Yamaha fan until I bought a pair of STK 12Fs. I tried the Yamaha 110s and 140s. The 110s were way too slow out of the hole and turning. The 140s were good but they wanted way too much money. I got the STX 12s for less than the price of the 110s and they are awesome. They take off right out of the hole, have plenty of power when turning, lots of room, plenty of storage, and will turn on a dime. Top speed that I have got is 59 mph on smooth water. They havent been fully broken in yet, so more to come after more time on them. Over all they are the best PWC I have seen for the money so far. There are faster ones out there, but for family fun they are a blast.

This review is for that fat ass guy in the parts shop upstairs that keep brushin` ppl out the store `cause is sooo lazy that we don`t have it we don`t carry it even though the part in already on the counter in front of him!

Have been unhappy at times, but I felt valued the last couple times Ive been there. Thanks Willy.
