I had such a great experience here at Capitol Honda. There were ton of people trying to get service on Saturday morning but the staff was well organized and got cars checked in and worked on. Good thing i had an appointment. They got me in and out in no time. Went in for service. Super easy pull up instructions and had a service member come quick. Roy was great, he got all my info in a new account in minutes, correctly documented the issue and told me 4pm but they were done by 1:30. Super impressed with their speed and organization.When I went to pickup, Roy wasn’t at his desk but someone was attentive to me right away, phoned Roy and he came right away. In minutes my car was outside and the driver used a plastic mat to sit on my seat. Would recommend here for service.

Best place around to get any service done on your car. There are dealerships and service places walking distance to my apartment, probably some cheaper but nothing will ever beat the service I get here. They really go above and beyond and are so friendly, professional and helpful. They also get my service done in half the time than the Sunnyvale dealership. I also appreciate the car wash coupon. Found this dealership to be more transparent than most. Was able to get a pricing breakdown on the car I was interested in before coming in to the dealer (always get copy emailed to me). I don’t go anywhere that doesnt do this—compare to other dealers I contacted who were already trying to give me the runaround on the phone. Capitol also wasn’t over pushy on trying to get us to purchase all the options—they laid them all out but did not push when we declined. Overall probably as good as possible for a car buying process.

Angelo, in the Services Department, was excellent! Very knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. It’s nice to connect with someone and still keep it professional these days! I dropped my car off at 9am and was all done with the initial paperwork by 9:10am. Received a call a couple of hours later and went on with my day. The whole crew is very nice!

I recently drove by here and stopped in to purchase a brand new Honda. The customer service of Tom Loi was exceptional. The showroom is clean and the process is fast from start to finish!

Worst customer service ever. Do not go there to service your car. Made an appointment for oil change. Representative on the phone said it would take no more than 1.5 hours. Arrived there on time for appointment. Left me 40 minutes waiting until a representative comes, before even taking my car, to tell me an oil change service would take 5 hours. I work, have kids to pick up. Why can’t they have the courtesy of either not overbooking or being upfront of how long it takes them. They had people there standing without lifting a finger. You do not leave someone waiting for 40 minutes inside their car to casually later come out and tell them that their one hour service will take 5 hours. If this was a one time thing, I would not bother to post. But this is the second time this happens. For charging the prices they do, they should take better care of their customer’s time. A shame.

Service Dept review only: Advisor Allan Garcia is terrible. Brought my car in for the Vacation Time service, no issue there, and was advised A/C was running a bit not as cold as should be. Allan advised me A/C service was $200. I authorized it. Charge was actually $230 + freon charge, which was never mentioned as an additional. Tried speaking to Allan, ZERO customer service skill, who said it shouldve been higher, I was clear on the phone then walked away. Such arrogance. He should be working in the garage not with customers. Very disappointed. Never an issue with numerous previous visits.

Fabulous experience! Weve purchased many vehicles and its always a pain to deal with. We were greeted by Zack and told him what we were looking for (we had done our homework, and knew what they had). He drove us around showing us everything. Never any pressure!! We selected a Certified Odyssey and Zack made sure we were happy while waiting for finance. Quick response from staffs, very helpful in all aspects, reasonable charge for services compared to all shops outside. Sometimes its pricey but its in my allowance, I preferred Capitol Honda services. It gives me the comfort of reliability. I can always track all my services here.

I took my car to them for service and to get a not functioning usb port checked out, I had booked an appointment for 8am. I went in,the service person was rude and giving me attitude,which I didntappreciate. I went in for a simple maintenance and a usb port check......They had me wait till 2PM!, that is insane. Then the service person said they factory reset the computer in my car to see if it would help but whwn I turned the car on,my phone connected to Bluetooth right away and all the settings were the same...hmmm makes me wonder what kind of factory reset doesnt reset the settings and all the paired devices. My conclusion is that I dont want anything to do with this dealership and will be taking my business elsewhere. Horrible service.

I ran into a piece of metal and my tire was getting flat quickly. Luckily, we were less than a mile away from Capitol Honda. Although it was a Sunday and didn’t have an appointment, they were honest with me on the wait time and that they would do everything they can to try to get it done in a timely manner since I had kids and was not prepared for a long wait and that it was during lunch. Tire could not be patched and ended up getting a new tire. Ended up out the door in a little over an hour. I can’t thank them enough for helping me like this in a pinch and how understanding and excellent the service was.

Great experience with Capitol Honda, I bought a Honda Civic here. Vahab and Roger were my sales consultants. Vahab was really nice to me and funny and Roger offered me a really good deal. I arrived pretty late that day and they were there for me and not pushy at all. Im a really new driver and they even drove me home! Really really appreciated! Bought a Honda at Capital Auto Mall. Robbie was the Sales person that helped us. It was a nice and pleasant experience! He was not pushy at all! Was friendly and down to earth yet informative. Ross was also helpful in showing us the car and was very patient in answering any questions that we asked him. I didn’t expect much customers during this COVID times but still there were few when we purchased car and they both were handling multiple customers pretty well at the same time. This shows that Robbie, Ross and other Capitol Honda Staff are very friendly and supportive and of course they are giving the best deal! As soon as I pulled up to the service line even the people parking my car were super helpful. But mostly I was lucky to have a had the best experience at a dealer ever with Jin Sik Kim. I came to drop off my car for 2 recalls and he asked me if I had any concerns and I told him everything I wanted to get checked out with the car. With no problem he made sure my car got everything checked out. He will listen to you and really try his best to help you out. Definitely recommend Capitol Honda!

The staffs of Capital Honda Penske in San Jose are very friendly and helpful. Nick Gaede helped me to find the car I wanted. When my phone is out of battery and left alone at dealership, he tried to find the charger and when that did not work, he let me use his cell phone to talk to my family. I run into issue in the financial transaction during the purchase, he worked out another form of payment so I could proceed. I got my new Honda CRV EX in time. The price was acceptable, considering the shortage of supplies due to chips shortage. The service from dealer was good. I got the car I wanted and I love it. Appreciate the help from Nick again!

I did like that there was seating outside although I didn’t use it because I do on walks. I asked how long it would take and Allan said 2 hours and it was on the dot so when I was walking back it was perfect timing 😄.

My experience with Capitol Honda recently was extremely frustrating. My service manager Narin, was great, extremely helpful and I didn’t feel too much pressure from her for other services. However, I was extremely dissatisfied with my technician and my multipoint inspection.Everything on my multipoint inspection was green. Knowing there were things that need to be replaced and fixed. For example, both air filters have not been replaced. Also, the tires will eventually be replaced as well. I felt as though my technician, didn’t fully inspect my car and just changed the oil filter. I felt that my money was wasted.I pay the extra money to take my Honda because I trust your honest opinions. I like having the multipoint inspections so I know what to expect. As a mom, I want to know that my car has been fully inspected and if there are any red flags or things that require attention, for the safety of my children.I am highly disappointed with my recent service and the only reason I gave it some stars was because my service manager Narin was great and extremely helpful.

I had a really early appointment scheduled for my car, and despite the hour and an earlier disgruntled customer she dealt with, she was nothing but professional to me and even had a great sense of humor.
