Extremely sketchy place and not very friendly staff to begin with. Tried servicing my electric scooter for a pneumatic tire which was unable due to the fact that they are only limited in knowledge to tubeless pneumatic tires. On top of that, they referred my scooter to another staff that charged 120 for one singular wheel to be replaced and filled with slime. However they failed to use 4 oz of slime and emptied the whole 8 oz bottle into the wheel ultimately damaging it.They only care about the money and the services they provide are very limited and horrid
More than sketch. They just want your money and could care less about quality work at all. Spent almost 400 just for my scooter not to be fixed. Be warned by this, seriously.
Anything electric transport and Im sure they can help you with it, E-bikes, scooters, even some ATVs. Even saw a segway in the store, plus they have a repair facility onsite. Please dont take cars, the name says it all, they work on scooters and e-bikes. call and they can tell you what they sell and work on.
The BEST the OWNER is very helpful and knows everything about the electromic motors and batteries. He charged me 75 dollars for a charger and dealer wanted 200 what a savings and he gave me a warranty for life jf it ever fails or goes bad he will replace it ... Thank you Scooterland for your help and quick service look forward to doing business in the near future...
I received supreme service and was very impressed with the last minute hard work and dedication to my electric scooter. With the repairs being last minute and having to commute from San Francisco, Scooterland was still able to fit me in even after business hours. They get a five-star from me and would recommend anyone to this place that specializes in electric scooters. There are no other places in the Bay area. Trust me I tried to track one down. Rarely do I leave a review so please take this one serious. Big- ups to Scooterland!!!?
So I had an amigo 50 cc scooter from the atv outlet in Citrus Heights last year and in around April sone one stole it from the area of palm and Madison in NorthHighlands ca white scratch on side a little bit and on bacl of Mirror cash for whoever can lead me to it
The owner took my 90 year old mother’s scooter to fix and replaced the motor with a used motor instead of the new one we were supplying to him. Then he never returned her scooter basket after calling him dozens of times. My mother relies on the basket to hold her things. Still to this day he never returned her basket. I am notifying the Vi in Palo Alto to put him on the black list and the BETTER Business Bureau. He is a con artist and should not be in business. He also yelled and screamed on the phone tat my moms caregiver.
Referred by a bicycle store as only place works on scooter. Shop looks kind of scary(rough & strange characters in & out the store). No cashier or bookeeping personal = it means cash only and services depend on mood of mechanics! Ill look harder to find another scooter store or DIY.
Well I wish everyone had my experience. We brought over a Chinese e-comer 55cc junk bike . Our first time there we arrived at Scooter land and started walking over to service desk when we were intercepted by a voice near their garage. “ hey bring the bike over here. “ Later we found out it was (Elijah) who called us over Scooter Lands head tech mechanic. He started on my sons 55cc junk mini bike and had it fixed in 20 minutes. At a good price than other place’s. Later my son got a 250 Ninja . He had that one running smooth cleaning out carb and lines. Real wow factor. Thanks Elijah see you soon God willing
Very exquisite service.five stars all the way
Tweakers are us ! Just buy a new scooter. You will most likely get bed bugs.
Wonderful people and they helped fix a scooter issue
$120hr to work on my go-ped dude only charged me $195 to install throttle swivel and finish assembling go-ped I feel like I overpaid. Only reason why I didnt leave was because Ive always wanted a go-ped since I was a child and this was my last obstacle I hope it was worth it.
Knowledgeable staff good selection of machines available
They are horrible, they took money from me in cash and gave me my moped back which dint even reach home and when I call them back to help, no one is picking the phone up
I took my electric scooter with a flat 11-inch tubeless rear tire to them. They quickly found a puncture hole in the tire and then sealed it without having to remove the wheel. That made my day.
Great place.nice people reasonable prices willing to help .
Absolutely terrible. Total lack of accountability and organization. The owner has no idea whats coming in or out of his shop. Unless he does know and just doesnt care. Daniel had my scooter for months to fix. When I picked it up it was on worse condition than when I left it. All of a sudden parts are missing that I know were there when I dropped it off. When I asked Daniel about it all he could say was that one day he showed up and they were just gone. No initiative to call me about it. Then he still tried to charge me for a job he didnt do. I could have disassembled it myself and lost parts for free.
The owner will rip you off by over pricing for repair and also blamed the country for it. If your electric scooter is punctured, buy tube less tires from Amazon with tools total $30 for 2 tires + tool kit. He said each tire is 40 bucks and also 120 for putting tires on! RIDICULOUS!
My husband has Parkinson’s and we purchased a portable mobility scooter. We found that it was very difficult for me to take apart and try to get it in car. We asked to return it for Joe to sell for us on consignment. It was in excellent condition with a new battery better than the one that came with it. We visited Scooter Land several times to collect the money for the sale. We were told to try to find our scooter. It was no where but no one would admit to it being sold and we would go away empty handed. My husband is 77 and too weak to stand up for himself. I have tried and gotten no where.
Kool
Please do yourself a favor and pay whatever fee that ANY other place charges and go there. Save yourself the headache. Was told to come in at 3pm twice two consecutive days in a row and waited two hours both days AND BOTH times my scooter still wasnt fixed. It was only fixed halfway and they STILL charged me FULL PRICE. Id rather buy another (insert what needs to be repaired here) than come back here
Said he changed oil but discovered he didn’t
Efficient and affordable, just make to have cash!
Strait up crack shop trying to sell used old as dirt scooters for more than new ones on line
Perfect place to switch out my 8.5 inch air filled scooter tires with impact absorbing solid tires. Totally worth it for the price. Highly recommended . Thanks, Joe and crew!
Awesome place to purchase scooters at and pretty much the only place who services scooters. Great and family type staff and seems like they get along. I highly recommend. 👌
Horrible services, couldnt fix my scooter.....they welded 2 seperate times ...attempting to weld my pipe to engine....broke off twice...donr go here ..wasted almost 300 $....finally got it fixed with someone else
Do yourselves a favor stay away from this place they will rip you off Joe the owner sold me a scooter he said it was new and it had used parts in it the owners son R oman came out to fix it and ruined it he blew up the engine on it to now I have to buy a new one. I dont know how they stay in business there crooks!!!!
Literally a junk yard
Mounted a new tire on my electric scooter rim very quickly. Very friendly staff as well.
The owner is really nice. He will gladly give you a deal if youre looking for one. I saw many unique vehicles they were working on there, not just scooters.
Nice job
Love you joe and DavidThank you so very much for your help todayGot my wheelchair back in just a couple hours runs 100 percent better was honest and did a lot of hard work repairing my chair and was amazingThank you for working with me will give your name to all my friends and family
You need a scooter for a great price. Go to scooterland- they will help you get it and work with you in the price that you can afford. Great employees
Had a flat tire on my electric scooter. Very prompt and courteous service. They offered to replace it with solid tire at nominal cost.
Very good customer service. Lots of scooters to choose from and prices are reasonable. The owner Joe was a very nice guy and gave us a good deal. Thanks to Scooterland employees for your great customer service!!!!
Davids dedicated to his work hes conscientious the quality of the product and the quality of repair work that leaves. I find him to be very easy to work with and communicate with so to speak, So, as to the owner of the establishment. Very intelligent mindwould like to see about the three tomatoez that crossed the road some people just need to catch up.
What a great place! Bought a mobility scooter and they made sure we received everything we needed to take it home the same day. They added support to the carrier they had in stock so that it would work for the model we bought. Also added a cig lighter to charge our oxygen unit or cell phone. Went over completely how to load, unload until I felt comfortable and we felt the price was fair. Loved the idea that if something goes wrong, we can go to them and not ship it back to manufacturer. I would recommend Scooter Land to anyone in need of a mobility scooter!
This place is a very reasonable place close by downtown and the owner JOE is a very kind and giving man and helps and donates services back to the community. He is also a master tech (electric bikes, mobility devices, anything electric 40 years of experience in repair, ownership of sales and repair retail and wholesale. He wants your business so he goes the extra hour or two just to make sure whateverbusiness your having????Its done right!!!!!!
Great people able to fix. Bike. Was happy to find them, use to go to there old shop on Winfield. Old Chinese electric bike.
I called asking about a bike I was looking for. All I wanted to know was if they had the bike. The owner came off as a cocky know it all, talking about carb approvals and didnt let me talk. And proceeded to end the conversation without even helping me by saying Im busy call me later. Till the day I die I will never spend 1/1000000000 of a penny at this store. Just from that experience right there. Wish him nothing but the worst. A******!!
The place was awesome and the service was good I recommend this place is awesome
Sketchy location but they were able to get some solid tires on my electric scooter so I can’t complain.
I enjoyed the service at ScooterLand Joe the owner you will just love he is realizable pricing and I was able to even work with me explain to fix my scooter.
Amazing place to both buy and service your scooter. They have electric & gas scooters & what I love about the shop is they service your scooter unlike others who only sell. Thanks Scooterland!
Amazing customer service and their attention to detail is absolutely the best! These guys know what theyre doing and can figure out any issue you have with your ride! Thanks Joe!
People in this place are very helpful.I met Joe, who is very nice, honest and friendly person.
Stay away from this crooked place!! They will scam you if you go there to have anything repaired. If theyre at fault for damages and need to repair or replace a part from their mistake, they will charge you for the repair or part. The owner is rude with no customer service skills and will argue with you instead of working with you. Thats not how you did business. Please take your business anywhere but here.
Guys are pretty cool and allways helpful when it comes to me finding the right part. Wish they had a better inventory and stock tho
They wanted to sell me 1 used battery for $60 or a new one for 120. Most scooters use two so 120 for used or 240 for new. I got two new batteries for 120 with tax and shipping. This store is a rip off
I love scooters and the people are nice very helpful and very reasonable very very reasonable they will work with you theyre good
Don’t pay for repairs before Completely verifying the repair was the one you asked for, it’s complete, the vehicle is undamaged, and the used parts are returned. Some facts you will need:The bureau of automobile repair (BAR) has jurisdiction over such a shop. You should submit a ‘Demand letter’ to such a shop; after they fail to repair your vehicle, and prior to requesting the BAR investigation. When the BAR completes its review you should request it to be sent to the court for your small claim. This is called subpoena and the BAR has a very nice person who will send it. They need at least 2 weeks to get it to the court in time for your small claim.Small claims has a limit for damages ( around 10k$ in 2017) and I don’t think you can hire an attorney for the hearing. Maybe to keep the cost of claims down. ( or ...as the process is convoluted perhaps it is a concession to business to help reduce the number of small claims against them )small claims filing is in the Santa Clara superior court house on 191 n. First street, the filing fee is 50$, it takes about 3-5 weeks to get a claim into court, the defendant can request a continuation one time (each time you try to get the paperwork filed), an error on your paperwork ( like listing Joe the owner of a business vs scooter land will allow the defendant to be excused... until the correct party is named in the case), Scooter Land US LLC is the correct business name for a lawsuit.AND any person over 18 can deliver service to a business receiving court papers or you can pay a process server to do it and send the proof of service to small claims court.Failing to notify the defendant by direct service will result in a repeated attempt at filing and service of the court documents... providing the defendant with a new opportunity to avoid attending court by requesting a continuation.Don’t take them a Vespa, APRILIA, or any other PIAGGIO product. They don’t know how to service them and they dragged their heels and didn’t acknowledge this for 6 months. When they did ‘service’ mine they took it to someone else as a sub-contract (who also did not have factory qualified technicians) nor was certified to perform warrantee work.To this shop... after pointing out the red light is still ON.The red light doesn’t mean anything.Good luck with your small claim against Scooter Land US LLC better yet find another shop
Great guys. prices are higher than the internet but you cant get their experience and service from the internet.
Nice people will fix you up with a refurbished mobility scooter or parts or service.
Poorly trained staff. Owner is racist and talks poorly about other ethnicities. Charges for work that was never done. Its ALL BAD. Shouldnt even be allowed to stay open..
Terrible place... owner is an old man withNO WORD, a scammer pretending to be busy, talking a lot BS. Disorganized, poorly trained staff and really dirty store.Dont waste your time, you cant trust in this people.
