I went to The Cigar House of Puerto Rico with a friend that smokes cigars. The shop is very large in a beautiful old Spanish Colonial building. In addition to cigars they sell lighters, flasks, hats and wine. In the lounge are super cozy sofas and good ventilation. Staff was very helpful and attentive.

This is a great family owned and operated spot. They have a huge selection of cigars and a great lounge and bar. A great place to work while having a smoke and a drink.

A lots going on inside. Probably everything about smoking. Buy hangout and good drinks inside. I wished I spend more time here.

You have to show proof of vaccination to go into the shop. What a joke! I guess they like losing money. Won’t try there again.

This is a wonderful cigar shop!Walking in you immediately get a retail vibe but then quickly realize this is more than just a cigar store. They do have many tobacco accessories for just about anyone but they also have a very large humidor which houses not only a wide variety of cigars but some very exceptional cigars as well. If you need any assistance with your selection or have questions, the staff here know exactly what they are talking about and will be more than happy to help.There is a very comfortable lounge to sit in and enjoy your smoke, the large leather furniture settings, situated with tables and ashtrays within reach makes this a relaxing place to sit, socialize and sample the contents of that large humidor.You can also sit and have a few drinks with your favorite stick, whether you looking for a good beer, glass of wine or scotch, they have got you covered.Have a smoke and drink for me, Cheers!

This is the best Cigar Lounge in all of Puerto Rico with a high-class ambiance. Awesome cigar selection, full liquor bar and an adjacent gift shop with traditional island hats and accessories!

Not only the largest selection I was able to find in the area, but the service and knowledge of staff were impeccable. Prices were very reasonable. Impressive array of meerschaum pipes. The recommendations on cigars I received were spot-on. Definitely a go-to spot, highly recommend.

Great selection of cigars. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have an area where you can sit and smoke cigars, even buy a bottle of wine or rum to enjoy with your cigar. We will definitely visit again when we are in Puerto Rico

This place maintains a Caribbean feeling from the moment you walk in the store to the moment you sit down in the back lounge with an old rum and your cigar. What it lacks in prim-and-proper, it makes up for in authenticity and variety. They have two enormous walk-in humidors as well as tobacco items throughout the store. If youre looking for mood over frills, go here for your daily smoke.

A jaw dropping selection of cigars, and extremely knowledgeable friendly employees that will help you find the perfect match for what you want, even if you dont quite know how to articulate it. Very authentic atmosphere to sit and enjoy.

Amazing Selection and Amazing Staff, One Place That you will never forget.

This shop is topnotch. It has pretty much any cigar you can ask for including things that are rare or sold out almost everywhere else in the US. The prices are fair, the service is friendly, welcoming and attentive and, beyond cigars, they stock all accessories, rare liquors, have a great bar and plenty of sitting space for one to enjoy a few hours with a nice smoke and libation. If in PR this is a must stop and the only cigar shop I would recommend.

If I could give this place ten stars, I would. The shop is in a historic part of not only Puerto Rico but in the world and in a building surrounded by streets built in the 1500s.You walk in and can immediately smell the tobacco, then you see the huge selection of accessories, hats, shirts, lighters, flasks, cigar boxes, you name it.Then you see the bar and lounge. Off to the side is a cigar lovers Nirvana. A walk-in humidor. Filled with quality cigars from all over and some hand rolled selections from Puerto Rico.You walk through a small hallway and then its Valhalla. A room bigger than the first one, completely lined with cigars.Since Puertorican cigars are not readily found in the States I purchased a few homegrown selections, walked to the lounge, had a glass Macallan 12 poured for me and sat down with a cigar.Can we say Heaven?For cigar lovers, visit this place. You wont be disappointed.

The largest humidor and selection of cigars Ive seen in my life. Equally as spacious a lounge and selection of pairing spirits. They are NOT BYOB and do not allow outside cigars but with a selection this large you should be able to fine something youd like.

Went here while on vacation in Luquillo visited the beautiful city of San Juan in Puerto Rico. Service was excellent and very hospitable people. Smoked a nice and full Padron Family Reserve 1964. Cigar selection is very large!

Went there with my friends not knowing anything about cigars. The young lady in there was very kind and sociable. She explained everything we needed to know and it didnt feel like being pushed into buying anything. Just a great experience.

I go to the cigar house every week and they treat me (and my dog) with a level of hospitality that keeps me coming back. Reasonable prices and an inclusive atmosphere that doesnt make you feel like you need to be a rich man in a business suit in order to enjoy a cigar.

This is an amazing Cigar Shop. The people who work there are so hospitable and knowledgeable about all the tobacco they sell. The Cigar House has a very warm ambience to it. Their lounge is like being at home and a Paradise for those who enjoy a great cigar. The cigar selection is by far the best in Puerto Rico. They also have an amazing bar and the coffee is made to perfection.

As many have stated before this place is absolute cigar heaven but the staff are not very helpful if you don’t know what you’re looking for. There walk in humidor is the largest I have been in to date. When you walk into the first room it’s clean and has some cool Camacho and Davidoff displays but then you go into the other room I didn’t even see and you’re greeted with thousands of cigars. Pretty much think of any stick and they will have it. My jaw honestly dropped. I loved seeing the exclusive drew estate lounge box press liga 9s and had to grab a few! I really wish I had some time to enjoy one in the shop because they have a decent lounge area and in house bar :) I just happened to stumble across this spot walking about old San Juan and it was a very memorable experience. If it wasn’t for the crazy selection they would definitely have a 3/5 but if you know cigars DO NOT hesitate to visit!

A nice little cigar shop with lofted ceilings and a decent selection of liquor. A good place to sit and work or relax for a bit if youre trying to get out of the sun and smoke a stick.

Went her with my husband, I dont smoke cigars but this place made me want to. So open and airy yet a cozy atmosphere also bought a very nice bottle of rum. The bottle was so nice, we kept it awhile but when we finally opened it was so smooth and Im not a huge fan of rum.

Outstanding cigar store. Gigantic 2 room walk in humidor. Huge selection of Opus X cigars at market price (not gouge the tourist prices). This store was not the cigar store advertised by the ship. If you are a true cigar connoisseur, walk 2 blocks up the street past what the ship advertises. You will not be disappointed.

If you love your stogies and your wine, or cognac, or maybe just a beer then this is the place to go. Very wide selection of cigars, types and makes. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The employees are very friendly, hospitable and helpful. Buy a cigar or 2 or 4. Pull up a chair at the bar, order a drink n just chillax. The bar is not your scene, no problem, relax with your cigar in the comfy lounge and enjoy the sky view ceiling. If you smoke cigars Dont miss this place. Youll be mad and regret you did. But if you do go, when its over and you leave, youll be yearning to go back. This place leaves an impression in you that you dont find in many cigar lounges. Enjoy

A calming and pleasing atmosphere that makes you feel at complete peace. It has beautiful decoration and wide variety of cigars from all over the americas at great prices. A good place to spend time with your friends. A must-go for any cigar enthusiast.

The selection at this place was amazing and the amount of choices is overwhelming. However the employee who helped me was not very knowledgeable. So you better know what you like before you go in. I’ve smoked cigars for several years, but I’m still learning my taste. She steered me to two different cigars that were not good at all. That was frustrating, considering that I dropped so much money there. If you’re looking for a good local cigar there is a lady who sits on the corner, at the main square who hand rolls them. Her cigars were very good.

According to google they were closing at 10pm, I got to the front of the business at 9:10pm . So I got here in the morning and AGAIN it was posted on google that they are open . When I call the owner tells me they are not open on Sundays . Please do ALL of us a favor and UPDATE Your times and dates so people don’t waste their time and energy .

Cool place for a smoke and a drink. My wife and I arent frequent smokers and they helped us select cigars and rum to enjoy. A nice atmosphere.

As a first time customer I was impressed as soon as I entered the store, which increased more as I entered further into the shop. I was greeted by very pleasant young woman. When I asked for the tobacconist she identified the was her. A very knowledgeable and helpful person, I highly recommend stopping in for an enjoyable experience if in the area.Thank you again folks.

The humidor here is gigantic! All the cigars are in perfect condition, overwhelming selection. The lounge is very comfortable, with a well-curated array of top-shelf whiskey and tequila.

God honest truth: I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STAR IF I COULD. NONE! They do have the best selection in the island. No doubt. And the prices are not bad at all. But they do have a problem with return policies and customer relations. After I spent near $900 on cigars I got home, I opened one of the boxes and tried to smoke this particular premium cigar but had a real tight draw. It was like trying to smoke a pencil. The same thing happened with the second and third cigar. So I decided to call the shop and calmly learn about their return policy. I talked to the lady who owns the shop. She went off the rails, and very disrespectful. I was very courteous because I really wanted either a new box or money. She said no, she didnt care no returns after you walk out with merchandise, receipt or not. Thats their policy. I worked in the past for one of the largest cigar retailers in FL. So this what happens most of the time; a customer brings the merchandise back for return, gets a replacement, credit or refund. The bad cigars go back to the manufacturer and the store gets a replacement or credit. So all in all, if you buy cigars at this place, smoke them there and if the cigar turns to be a dud or unravels, pray they give you another and good luck.

The best place to buy premium cigars and accessories for the connoisseur. Also have a smoking room with comfortable chairs and great bar area. Reasonable price. The staff are amazing with great knowledge.

Very helpful in finding the right cigar for your liking. Unfortunately I was in a rush so I didnt have the chance to sit back and smoke. But the place is very clean and beautiful. I had to buy myself a souvenir t- shirt with my hand rolled cigars.
