I observed that the prices of certain products was almost double than what I pay for in other grocery stores. So I did not buy anything. Why pay so much extra. However, its a very well maintained supermarket with a variety of food items. It was not crowded at all during a weekend. Bakery products looked delicious. I liked the variety of alcohol and flowers they offer.
Whole foods has such fresh food. I especially love there bakery and the isle where you can make and pick your own to complete your desired lunch, its super fantastic and healthy combos.
Went here today. Hot foods is completely closed because there is no staff to serve out hot food. Amazing that this is happening I thought this was supposed to be higher end food. Guess this is what happens when you don’t pay a living wage so your ceo can go to the moon. Also no one manning the self checkout saw people in front of me just packing their bags and not paying for food and walking out. Was confused why pay for my groceries if people in front of me are just walking out. If you want free groceries go to this store.
Disappointed in the store as a whole. The Walnut Creek store is much better. It doesnt seem smaller, just not as much selection.
Whole Foods has the Best Cheese selection.Fresh cut Meat and Fresh Sea Food. Its Amazon of Grocery (Despite the Fact, Amazon owns it). The member discount or sale items are very competitive and definitely a notch above the Quality of other grocery stores.Worth a visit.
This store has poor customer service, the staff are rude and poorly informed about the store, things are always out of stock. It also seem the staff are pretty idle, mostly checking phones and chatting as opposed to helping customers. Worst Whole Foods I’ve ever been to.
Great customer service. Stay away from the sweets or go check them out at your own risk. You will LOVE them. You cant pick a wrong one. Every time I picked a new treat is very competitive with the last one. Exploring a new flavor becomes an adventure. Is the perfect companion for a latte. Go treat yourself.
Good fresh meats, poultry and seafood selection.
Does great job with checking expiration dates.
Not the largest Whole Foods that I have shopped at, but one of the busiest and friendliest. During the workweek, the lines at the deli and pizza areas are long filled with Bishop Ranch office workers. This was the first Whole Foods that I started ordering my custom-made cakes for family and friends. The bakery department has always been helpful and very attentive and can have introduced me to different cake flavors - Chocolate Eruption, Tres Leche, Neapolitan, Vegan Chocolate, Lemon, etc. Their fresh fruit tarts are always gorgeous to look at and are a big hit. What I like about this Whole Foods is that they have the floral department right in front of the entrance, the flowers smell awesome and are very tempting to purchase. I am also a big fan of their fresh produce. Their fruits are usually ripe, juicy and flavorful. This store usually has fresh fruit samples and this has definitely made me purchase more than I was originally coming to Whole Foods! Parking can sometimes be tough because this one doesnt have that many parking spaces. Be patient its worth it.10/14/2017 Update: There is now an Amazon Locker inside next to the front entrance
Loved it. Very friendly staff. Clean .
Fresh fresh fresh... u get all things here in a neat and organized manner
Nice location, kind staff, parking seems easy enough. Only reason why I subtracted a star is that the traffic in that area can be a little terrifying. Lots of fast cars even Im the parking lot areas.
Bad service, never find the things we are looking for. Rude staff.
Awesome sauce! Workers are helpful, cleaned, fresh fresh and fully stocked goods and seafood. Lots of parking and eateries are closeby.
Crowded. Not with people but with product. Isles and floating displays so close you could barely get a cart past, let alone two carts passing each other.
My favorite WF location. Tesla chargers near by. Are the employees happy? Generally yes and it reflects in their helpfulness and attitude. Good craft brew section, meat counter and produce and everything else but low prices. Amazons acquisition has not hurt the store, appears hand off on the front end, but improved finances and web presence on the back end
Nice little store. Loved seeing the different floral options
Great product selection albeit overpriced for the average shoppers. Dont misunderstand me, there are things like certain vitamins that one cannot find without extensive shopping at multiple stores. Also, grass fed beef is not readily available at other supermarkets. You pay for these exclusive products and dont complain. So, we dont shop here for everyday items but shop here for exclusive items.
This Whole Foods got everything I need and the freshest produce the best meets .
Ive had the privilege to sample pizza from 4 different Whole Foods locations and this was the best tasting and highest quality hands down!
There were employees available to help me and happy to do that.
This location has seen it’s customer service numbers go up and down, but this is unacceptable. When this location has to make a customer happy; they just give away food.I will be posting pictures of how when a young man isn’t happy with his job and spoiled because he has to “work” on a Friday and he prepares your food.Unacceptable.
Very good location with wide variety of things.
Love to shop here. Well organized and lots of selections. You have everything you need and good customer service as well.
Love their pizza. The choice of dough is delightful.
Really enjoy going to this Whole Foods. Not as big as the Dublin store but less crowded (at least when Ive gone) and find the staff and checkout lines friendlier and quicker. An enjoyable shopping experience.
The experience of this place has fallen off incredibly. While this was once a decent store, whoever the manager is has done some absolute nonsense like merging all the lines into one giant line to parade the customers past things to buy.The store is almost eternally out of stock of many essential products and items nowadays as well.As of now, it’s worth skipping this store and going to Dublin instead.
Since Amazon bought Whole Foods, unique offerings like their legendary cookie selections are gone. In their place now sit loads of Knickknacks and cheap trinkets from China. This place looks more like Walmart than a specialty grocery store. Available registers are minimal, so lines are long. TJs, Costco, and Target will fill the void Amazon created by dissolving what made Whole Foods special.
One of the best whole foods Ive ever been in
This is our favorite Whole Foods in the area. It’s bigger than Walnut Creek and has a better lactose free selection of products.
Small compare with other stores but people are nice.
Showed up at 8:59PM right before close after I left work a few minutes early to grab prepared food. They told me dont have anything were closed while several shoppers there.Cant expect much from Amazon I guess...
Love the fish and the halibut hamburgers that they sometimes feature.
Great service. Their cakes are perfect for any ocassion. Well organized and helpful staff.
PrimeNow pickup orders are so seamless! I have never had to wait even 30 seconds - they are almost always there ready with my orders making it very quick and by doing that they also ensure those pickup parking slots are always empty making it easy for the customers. Thanks to everyone who is working behind the scenes to make this happen!
Great service, well organized and easy to follow instructions to comply with social distancing. Plenty of help, great atmosphere.
The store was really nice and well stock. I love to shop in here. Great fish department..staff very helpful to provide you service and help at competitive prices in getting exactly what you want. That was great customer service.
Very nice friendly staff.
Like any other whole food place, this is a great one. Love their bakery and all the producers are fresh. They also take the return without any question so altogether great experience so far. Prices are a bit high but all Whole Foods are like that.
Dont have everything I need but the store is ultra neat and clean. Always pleasant to shop there
So clean and staff so friendly and helpful!
Good food, great store
Nice place with usual Whole Foods presentation and choices overall. The area that needs a lot of improvements is the prepared hot food choices. They need to focus on what the customer wants and not what Whole Foods wants. They keep presenting the same dishes that has less appeal and no new popular choices. Look at what people buy most and do a complete overhaul of these dated food choices.
One of best places to get organic food
Nice and clean. Fresh food
I like this place
No care for virus NO GOOD
The best
Manager Tony is a very nice guy! I experienced a shortcoming on my part. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to help! He helped me on Thanksgiving, a time where no one has patience! Very nice man.
Good place to buy some foods
Still love the place. They are doing a great job controlling the crowds inside and helping maintain social distancing
Love the selection of fresh produce! All in all, a great experience to finding what I needed. Definitely recommend!!
The San Ramon whole foods is decidedly upscale even by whole foods standards. You can tell they cater to a more narrow audience reflective of the location. The store is impeccably clean and fairly big. You can tell it gets a large lunch crowd from the nearby businesses because the take out section is extensive and has great variety. The staff in the ready made salads department has questionable attitude sometimes and appear rather disorganized (a thread I have noticed in WC one as well). The bakery is great though both in customer service and the products they offer.
The sandwiches are good but the procedures and service need improving. As a celiac I need gluten free bread. The counter is 6 out of 7 times out of gluten free bread so it takes an additional 10 minutes to locate more bread either from the back or the store. I have mentioned this to customer service but not seen any improvement. They say the gluten free bread has a shorter shelf life for the reason. Then I go to the store shelf to get more. Obviously this is not the reason just they do not replenish when low.The grill is out. Been 3+ weeks. So no grilled sandwiches. You fill out a form but there is no system for which form comes first. My filled out form just sat there on counter whilst another person got served.I ordered gluten sandwich the other day. Went away to do more shopping before returning to collect my sandwich. The sandwich bread was good, too good? The next day I have gluten exposure symptoms. The next day I go back and order gluten free sandwich. I check back and they are making my sandwich with regular bread. So bad!!!Plenty of opportunities for improvement. I’m surprised as this is supposed to be a high end store with good service.
Love this place!! Love the bakery
Protocol in place. Store fairly busy.
Super empty. Safe and sound to go shopping and save an extra 10% on sale items with amazon prime :)
As expected. A FINE WHOLE FOODS MARKET
Great!
If blindfolded and told to put something in a shopping basket, you would pretty much be guaranteed to have grabbed something of great quality, but not necessarily the lowest cost compared to other stores. Because of this, if you find something on sale here most likely it will be something of very good value for the cost. This is particularly true in their meat department. Additionally, their hot food and fresh deli offerings are at restaurant quality as well. Get a slice at the fresh pizzia counter, or pick up something to take home. Its very good if you dont want to cook for yourself.
Great selection and a discount for Amazon Prime members. Their health supplement selection is hard to beat. For your first trip, be sure to have time to walk the aisles and get acquainted
Good location. Feels like America here
Clean and good service. Better on prices, finally.
This is absolutely a one stop place to go to for the discerning shopper who is looking for a variety of items to choose from. The store is well laid out with a wonderful atmosphere. As a word of warning, do not visit when you are hungry. Do enjoy.
Yeah yeah yeah the place is not the cheapest. But I do feel they have a good selection of quality foods. Especially the meat and fish. At most supermarkets when I walk by the meat and fish counter it does not bother me that I am 95% vegetarian. At WF the other 5% rears its head and reminds me of just how good it tastes to eat another living thing. Lastly they have a great 🍺 selection.
We went to Wholefoids in San Ramon today to enjoy their delicious soups. Sadly they were out of the cracker packets. When we asked customers about it, the only solution she can come up with was for us to return the soups we paid for. Really Whole Foods??? No crackers in the whole store??? Perhaps someone should tell them they can get same day delivery with Amazon???!!!😏
Stopped in yesterday (11/1/2019) and ate lunch. Among the items I ate was some precut pineapple. Immediately after eating it, I experienced some pretty intense stomach pain and within two hours of eating the pineapple, I became gravely I’ll. Luckily I still had some in my cool and it tested positive for staph associated toxins. Clearly, some employees at this location don’t wash their hands and don’t follow safe food handling techniques. Caveat emptor, folks, unless you like trips to urgent care. When I called customer service to let them know, the person on the line was callous and dismissive.I’ve been a fan of While Foods for years, but clearly whoever is running this store knows little about customer care, or safe food handling protocols. I will never return.
Some very unhappy employees. Masks being worn improperly.
Food Area Sucks, takes way too long to order and food portion is skimpy
Uly from the Whole Body Department was such a great help! He was super nice even after being treated horribly by a rude customer. He didnt let that ruin his day and gave me excellent customer service! He showed me all the essential oils, their different uses, and how to use them in the diffuser. I am so happy with everything I bought. I will come here again due to customer service and great products he orders!
Great Food, great Service.
Everyday I use to get a sandwich here in Whole Foods they have a form we should fill that out it’s like a customize sandwich taste good but sometimes they forgot to put all out ingredients ☹️ still it has a fresh quality and good customer care. Best place for salads and soup not for 🥪 sandwich I don’t recommend here.
Shopped here for Thanksgiving dinner, from picking up our prepaid, precooked organic turkey (love the drive up service for online orders located at the back of the market, so easy!!) to flowers to all the ingredients to make the rest of our dinner. Used my Amazon Prime via my mobile and saved some $$.BTW, tried the pre-made roasted butternut squash in the refrigerated section for $19.99...yuck! Wish I would have saved my money on that one, but now you all know!!
Been going to this WF location for years - the staff here are always super friendly and helpful, food is always fresh, and even while remodeling they make sure everything is stocked and looks good. Their beer/wine buyer also keeps a healthy selection of unique and awesome ciders, even different from other whole foods in the area, which is a huge plus in my book.Plus, the oatmeal is always ready and out around when they open, which is seriously half of the times I come here.
I work close by here so I take stroll to this Whole Foods at least 3 times a week. This WF gets very busy a lunch time and sometimes after work time. There is new construction for new business across Sunset that is about to be completed and will only add to the traffic in this area. This Whole Food itself isnt the biggest but I always find the freshest fruits and newly replenished items at the hotbar. Parking can be a little tough during busy hours as it shares parking lot with a few other businesses.
Clean store, ok pizza
A bit on the smaller side. The aisles are kind of cramped
We had lunch at the buffet it it was good. Ive been to several different Whole Foods lately and this is solidly in the middle with great service and good products. They didnt have what I wanted- Hail Mary macaroons- and the guy offered to order them which was really nice.
Very good limited entrance to those over 65.
Love this spot. People are friendly a d food is exceptional
Great fish department..staff very helpful to provide you service and help at competitive prices in getting exactly what you want.Grocery variety is limited primarily to their instore brand so often cant find exactly what I need. Bakery and Deli sections are more than adequste... but there are better places scattered around the areaParking can sometimes be a challenge.
Great hot food bar. So-so salad bar when compared to other Whole Foods. Smaller store, less allergy- friendly options. More aimed towards professionals dropping by for a quick breakfast or lunch.
Whenever I go into this store and interact with either food, bakery or any cashiers Im wish for full automation...Ill be super happy robots running this place any given day irrespective of the consequences...one start is for the store manager (at least I think the bearded dude is the one) who is professional....most of the cashiers need to find a professional where have no interaction with people
Nice area to shop, but crazy parking lot. Much to do with workforce environment taking over during lunch hour. Otherwise, its fine. Weekends can be tricky too.
Well assorted, fresh
Wonderful food bar selection and their cod is fresh.
This is one of the smaller stores in my area. Its selection its not as large as other Whole Foods in my area but its still nice and clean.
Clean and great customer service.
One of the best Whole Foods in the Bay Area. Well designed, well stocked and great lunch options.
The mussels we got today were not fresh and very smelly when cooked. Also, the baby back ribs we bought today were not fresh either. We deep fried twice and still had stinky smell. Not worth the price at all!!!I can’t believe those seafood and meat are sold at Whole Foods! Bad quality and high price! We will not go to Whole Foods in the future!
Service was good, but I paid $9 (!!!!!) for a tuna fish sandwich that sucked.
Expensive, but they do have good products. I especially noticed the difference between the organic produce there and what is available at TJs.
Seriously, Whole Foods... zero vegan protein options in the morning hot bar? The entire chain has become less and less vegan friendly the past few years but that was a low. I guess vegans arent your demographic anymore. Disappointed!
Good shop very close to work location
One of the better Whole Foods that Ive been to. Clean store and their shelves are stocked deep. Their prepared food can be a hit or miss though. Overall a solid WFM.
Love this store its a bit small but has whats needed
