Stopped at several dealerships today to look at vehicles. Was a little stunned that at most of my stops the sales person was cold and unhelpful. Spoke to Roy Mercurio at victory Honda. He was the exception. Extremely kind low pressure super happy to answer my questions and help me. He was the rare exception. I called to have the car checked, Robert checked it and said he did not find them. I search everywhere and couldnt find them on my end. So, I called Victory again and asked for Robert to please check again. He did a more thorough search for me and found them. Kudos to Robert! Thank you all so much.

Overall Informative, Pleasant, & Satisfactory. But disappointed with the detailing of the vehicle. Interior under the mats was very dirty and an area on the lower portion of the passenger side door that we were told was dirt that would come off is a section of very noticeable scratches. Basically seemed to be a very hastily done job.

My name is now Peggy Fry, I have nothing bad to say About the salesman. I would however like to express my opinion about a recent purchase. I have owned a Honda for years now. I recently purchased a CRV Hybrid, before the first payment the light came on About all wheel drive issues. My husband took it up for me. They put a part on it needed, thought that would fix it but no. Something is bent underneath, so they ordered a part. So they expect me to fill save driving it with the problems its having already, I think not. Needless to say it was in the shop when I had to make the first payment. My advice read the reviews about a car before you buy one. I would not recommend getting one to anyone.

Alex was great to deal with on the purchase of my 2019 Pilot. I just got my first service done and it was seamless. I called ahead and scheduled my appointment and everything went smooth and was done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place and will buy from here again!

Lets say these people went above and beyond extreme measures to make sure I left with the civic SI I wanted . I began the process back about 2 months ago with an excellent sales rep named Jennifer. After sending all my info and them doing they’re part, she contacted me that they approved me but needed money down . So while I waited to come up with the money she managed to keep in touch every few days and asked how things were going . When i came up with it, she did exactly what she promised and I walked out with keys in my hand . As a young woman who knows nothing about cars and it being my first real “adult” purchase, I was worried someone would try and take advantage of that or pressure me into getting something I didn’t want but I truly felt Roy was on my side and helped me understand everything going on. I talked to him beforehand and gave him details of what I wanted and he had a Honda Civic ready for me to test drive which is what I ended up going home with because it was everything I had said I wanted. Our Honda HRV 2019 stopped about 20 ml from Sandusky and tow vehicle brought us (3 adults and child under 2 years old) to Victory Honda of Sandusky. Ray and other people were very understanding and helpful. We were traveling from Rochester, NY to Durand, MI and they gave us loaner car and kept our car for few days to make sure is everything OK. Went to nearly all dealerships in the Sandusky area on Saturday, May 29 around 2-3 pm. As a working family, our times to visit dealerships on their hours get quite difficult. Google states 4 pm close for all. Numerous potential buyers looking through windows at cars with no one to help them because all doors were closed before 4 pm.Stopped in at Victory after striking out at all other dealers. They were open. They came out to greet us. Numerous employees talked to us and helped us. I had no intention of buying the car that day. I walked out at their closing time of 8 pm with my keys to a new 2021 Honda Pilot Special Edition. Employees were great. Hours were great. The manager should be very proud! I know what retail hours are like- especially on holiday weekends. But it was the best experience I’ve ever had! Brayland was our sales rep and he was hands down amazing! He went over all aspects of the SUVs we were looking at. Didn’t rush us. Gave us alone time to talk. I never felt pushed. Would totally recommend the entire dealership over and over again.

They recently installed sidesteps and a pushbar for me giving me employee pricing on the steps also are very good about maintaining your vehicle and cleanliness they even vacuumed my floor before putting down my laser mats check them out grea employees.

Recently had my truck scheduled because of my service air bag light going off and on + an oil change. When I arrived and we went over everything that needed looked at, I was told they would not be able to look at my air bag light even though they scheduled it this way. I think because they don’t do this type of work on Saturday’s, but then I don’t understand why I wasn’t told this while scheduling. This was scheduled weeks in advance, so I was disappointed that they would not help me at all and with no extra effort to make it right.

Update:Within two hours of posting this critical review I was contacted by Ray, the service manager who went above and beyond to rectify the situation. At the end of the day I’m very impressed with how the situation was handled and will absolutely return in the future. Mistakes happen and these guys acknowledged it and made things right.Original:I made an appointment here to fix a safety recall on my Civic airbag inflator. When making the appointment I indicated that I would need a rental vehicle. The information I got from Honda also stated that a rental vehicle would be provided to me at no charge. When I arrived at the dealership I was refused a rental vehicle and was told that there were none available. I’m guessing they just didn’t want to give one out for free. The appointment was at 8 AM and had to be one of the first appointments of the day. This ended up costing me a 30 minute trip each way. Will be avoiding this dealership in the future.

I was in and out in 30 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. Ryan was super helpful with the questions I had since this was my first time in since I bought my vehicle. I would recommend Victory Honda to my friends and family.

I was allowed to test drive a car, but it was assumed I would buy a new car until I pointed out I was interested in a Certified Used vehicle. It is definitely in the running.

Cars were dirty inside and outside. Their idea of detailing your new purchase was just plain pitiful. Friendly staff, but no real pride in their work.

I live four hours south of Sandusky and I spoke with Vanessa and negotiated the price of a 2018 Honda Ridgeline down to a really great offer. She was very pleasant to work with, not pushy and really kind. The original asking price was truly a fair price but she was able to lower it to a price that was lower than all the dealers arround where I live in the Cincinnati, OH area. She made it worth the trip for me and my family of five with three little kids. When we got up there they were waiting for us, brought my family inside the waiting room and got them set up so I could look at the truck, go on a test drive and work through the paperwork. Everyone I worked with was very respectful, family-oriented, kind and not pushy at all. They made me and my family feel very comfortable and at home. I worked with the sales associate Braylon and the finance manager Derek and they explained everything clearly and made sure I understood everything. We stayed an extra day to visit the beach and before we left we noticed the back taillight had a small crack in it that we hadnt noticed at the dealership. I called Braylon right before we were coming back home. He said to go to the service area of the dealership and they would take care of it. I got there and they had officially closed but someone was there to take my information and said they would take care of all of it and pay for the repair no questions asked. They called me at the start of the next week, sent the part I needed that week and had me get in touch with my local Honda dealer to get it repaired and they will pay for it. Their customer service has been top notch and makes me envious of those that get to call this dealership home!

Just came out with a brand new Civic EX. Roy Mercurio was a very good salesman, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Best dealer I have found in the area, if you want a quality car. Ask about the Car Doc service package.Try to get financing elsewhere though. After having a credit union review our contract, found out they tried to charge me interest inside my final balance. Meaning they would get interest whether I went month to month or paid it all right there.

I recently bought a used Honda Accord from an out-of-town used car dealer. The car ran great for almost two months when the engine began to overheat intermittently, lose power at times and soon afterwards, the oil started mixing with the coolant ! I decided to drive it to the Victory Honda Service Dept. in Sandusky, Ohio. I was greeted by a very friendly Service Advisor, Robert Startup. He advised me to leave the car there for a few days while they diagnosed the problem. He then set me up with a courtesy car to use while the car was being serviced.A couple days later Robert called me with the bad news that my engine had a cracked block and would need to be replaced ! Needless to say, I was quite upset, since I had just purchased the car and my limited warranty had just expired ! Do I spend a lot more money to get the engine replaced or do I junk the car ? Robert understood my dilemma and assured me that he would try to find a good engine at a reasonable price. Robert went as far as explaining my situation to his Service manager and between the two of them, they made it comfortable for me to go ahead and get the engine replaced.During the time that the work was being done, Robert kept me posted as to where they got the engine, when it would be delivered and the progress of the work while installing it. I had many questions and concerns for Robert each time he called with an update and he so patiently listened and explained in detail exactly what was being done. Based on Roberts automotive knowledge and his ability to explain everything at a laymans level, he gave me a sense of confidence that the work was being done by top notch mechanics and the job would be done well AND IT WAS DONE WELL !Thanks to the great mechanics, the very helpful understanding Service Manager and my great Service Advisor, Robert Startup, my car is once again running great and Victory Honda has a very satisfied customer !

Yesterday I bought a 2020 Honda Pilot from Victory Honda of Sandusky and I could not have asked for a better experience! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with water and snacks by Alex, while Ken was getting my paperwork together. I kid you not, I was in and out in under an hour. After the paperwork was all signed up with Ken, Alex set up my phone through Bluetooth and gave me a detailed tour of the ins and outs of the technology. This isn’t old school car buying where you are there for hours upon hours. These guys are changing the game of the entire car buying experience by being quick, friendly, generous, patient, kind and most of all by making sure you leave with a car you love and a payment you’re comfortable with. If you haven’t bought a car from these guys, I’m not sure what you’re waiting for.

I dont normally write reviews, but I felt it necessary after how poorly we were treated. My boyfriend bought a used car there, and he takes it home and we find dried puke under the glove compartment. They told him they had the car detailed from top to bottom and the smell was from the chemicals they used to clean it. Then we see the passenger floor mat and it is sopping wet. I assumed this was because they cleaned the carpet, but I pulled it out of the car and it smells like stale beer! We took it back to them and my boyfriend explained that it was unacceptable and he was very upset and asked if they could take the car back. The manager, Mike Patrick, wouldnt even talk to us. He put us in the sales area and had us sit there for a half hour. Finally after about an hour and a half he said If I forget the transaction will you promise me that you and your family never come back here again? Just very unprofessional and very unethical that you could let anyone drive off with a car like that. I will never be coming back. I hope nobody else has to go through what we did.

I have never been treated so well from the sales rep, Alex, to the finance manager and the service department. It is refreshing to see people who truly love their job and people. I am telling everyone about my experience with Victory Honda. I have never been happier. Thank all of you.

I originally came in to have my oil changed and the tires rotated on my 2016 Honda Civic. This part of the service was done in a timely manner. I was then told that my car needed several other services. I authorized these and was told I would receive a call this afternoon. Six and a half hours later, I still had not received any call. I had to call. I was told the car was done and that the paperwork would be complete when I arrived. The paperwork was not completed and I waited twenty more minutes for it to be completed. During the time I was waiting, another customer was assisted instead of completing my paperwork. I was pleased with the cost and the work completed but not the time it took.

Not all dealers can provide everyones needs. The only reason for the 4 out of 5

I didnt notice that they had washed my car after replacing the defective air bag till I came back home and noticed the spider webs, which had been plastered to the finish, were gone. While traveling through Sandusky, OH. Victory Honda repaired a tire on our 2018 CRV, which had picked up nail. Price was on target and service was quick, plus free donuts and coffee. So thankful to Victory Honda for helping us out on our cross country summer vacation.

This is a very nice place to shop around for cars. The agents or service people are very nice and helpful. Obviously you can only find Honda vehicles here, but should you purchase a car here the agents are diligent with communicating with you post sale and express excitement when you come back for something. Also, you can bring you vehicle here, any time, and have it cleaned by their own car wash.

My engine light came on and I was nearby. I called them and the quickly got me in and checked out my situation. They gave me a very reasonable solution and I was out within the hour. I was very pleased with their no hassle work on the car (which included a free run through the wash too). They made my issue an easy one to overcome.

Routine 75,000 mile checkup. Work was completed in a timely manner - did not interrupt my daily plans. No cost as I purchased a Car Docs contract. My goal is to put 200,000 miles on this vehicle and regular, quality maintenance is an important part of reaching that goal.

The staff was all very helpful in dealing with my older model Honda. My vans issues were dealt with in a timely professional manner. Do not call if you are in a hurry, the phone system can be a bit cumbersome.

I was greeted by my service representative upon my arrival and we discussed what my vehicle needed. I then spoke to several staff people during my wait while my car was worked upon. In less than 45 minutes the service rep was back and reported the results of my service appointment. My car had passed the complete service inspection and was now ready to drive.
