I have been here 5-6 times and always have a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful without being pushy or annoying and the quality of the meats stand out every time I go. I have done ribeyes, fillets, pork chops, baby back ribs, and chicken so far and all came out delicious. I will keep coming back.

Weve been wanting to visit here and so happy we finally did. A great selection of meats (although Ill have to go on a Tuesday on chicken delivery day). The staff was helpful and friendly but not pushy. How they explained their products and knowledge on how to cook the meats (it came out perfectly BTW) was great! The products may be expensive comparatively but you can taste the quality. We will be back! And, Go Sox!

Having lived in Sandy Springs for the past six years immediately after leaving my hometown of New York, I was elated to see the name New York Butcher Shoppe and planned on visiting one day, but always got sidetracked. Decided recently that since this is my community I would support my local businesses.Needed a turkey breast butterflied for Thanksgiving but was told by a gentleman at the store that they dont do that, because they ordered 200 turkeys and if it was done for one person everyone would want it butterflied so he could not do that. Not only the words but the tone of delivery was so disappointing to me, because thats what butchers do for their customers upon request for a couple extra dollars, from past experiences dealing with butchers in New York and also here in Atlanta.I will have to continue to support business out of my community in order to meet my needs.

Highly recommended! My wife and I have been meaning to try this butcher shop for 2 years and we finally went today. Unbelievable cuts of meat! I got a 14 oz ribeye and asked them how theyd cook it. I did exactly what they said and holy cow it was the best steak I have ever cooked at home. I told my wife it rivaled what you get at Ruth Chris and its less than half the cost for just the steak alone! We also got the jerk marinated chicken which my wife very much enjoyed! We will be back soon!

Our household is so grateful the New York Butcher Shoppe in Sandy Springs has continued to serve our community during the Covid-crisis! It brings us a sense of normalcy in our lives to have our special date-night dinners! Thanks to the workers for all you do for our little family! Weve been coming here for quite some time now and since Ive always been happy to recommend this place to family and friends, I thought I should share it via the inter-webs! The people working here are quite fantastic! Doesnt hurt their product is amazing meats and sides! Seriously, if you dont feel like cooking sides, I recommend the spinach soufflé, loaded baked potato and the bacon gouda mac-n-cheese! Dont forget to try their Montreal Steak Seasoning! They are great on your steaks and burgers! Were mainly Prime Filet people (most of the workers know our order when we walk through the door) and have to say its the best cut of beef in town! Chicken breasts and the burger patties are fantastic, too! Maybe one day, Ill gain the grill-master skills to try one of their giant Tomahawk Steaks! Great Butcher and great people! Highly recommend you check out their store, you could become a regular like us!

Good service, was able to get some high end beef cut to order immediately. They also have Wagyu, dry age, and USDA prime options.

Decided at the last second to cook a standing rib roast for Thanksgiving and skip the turkey altogether. I am a complete novice at this and never bought meat at the butcher shop before. I spoke with someone on the phone and they walked me through the whole thing.Thanksgiving dinner was a raging success!You have a very professional group of people serving a high quality product. I will definitely be back and suggest that anyone looking for quality meat give this place a shot.

First time in and new to Sandy Springs so I am checking out the local food options. I went in and was immediately impressed. Then I saw the prices and was thinking, you coming home with me to grill it?Nevermind! Never have I ever had a store bought Steak taste so good!If there is ever an example of you get what you pay for NYBS is it!Now I gotta try the lasagna!

Employees loaded the car with $500 worth of meal for a large gathering.When we got home there was a massive amount of cheese sauce all over the back of the SUV.Talked with several staff who were disinterested in the damage to the car nor in replacing the sauce.Bad attitude. They couldnt care less. Company owned store.Wonder what they try to hide in the back of the store.

We wanted to run in really quick tonight to get a steak for dinner. We pulled up a few minutes before they closed but were going to be quick. Well, as soon as the woman working saw us pull up she came out to take the parking signs in and gave us such a dirty look the entire time, then slammed the signs down inside, so we decided to leave. We will spend our money else where from now on.

If you’re looking for top quality meats, this is the place! I’m a Personal Chef and the Strip, Filets and Seasoned Marinated Chicken were the best I’ve ever served my clients...staff is knowledgeable and friendly!!!

I really love the fresh items at the New York Butcher Shoppe. They have great porterhouse steaks, bone in ribeyes, brisket, chicken wings, and kurobuta pork chops. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They will season everything you buy. We like getting the lemon pepper seasoning on the chicken wings. There is also a rewards program, which helps out when you are buying higher end meats (can be expensive, but so worth it!).

Outstanding meat and outstanding service. Also have great sides preprepared. Highly recommended.

The guy is rude. Called made sure they had duck fat. Drove 45mins, walked in, asked about it, the guy was dismissive and told us that they don’t have any.
