Ive lived in the area for going on 2 years and always stop by here for the convenient nearby location. Facility is well lit, and the staff is friendly enough for the most part. The issues, however, come in waves. Up until recently after repeated complaints from myself, most of the products were never appropriately price labeled and you couldnt ever tell what you would be expected to pay for their items. On top of this, quite a few items wouldnt even scan at the front register, putting customers in a conundrum of no listed price, and also the cashier not having a price for the item. Often time, to my great displeasure, theyll just assign the item a price at their whim, several dollars higher than anybody around reasonably would. Ive complained to the staff multiple times that this practice is unethical, and needs to be ceased, but to no avail. Buyer beware, do not let these crooks overcharge you for their intentionally faulty design of their store.8/14 and 8/15- After Circle K replied to this review, ive went back and decided to see how they handled matters. Last night I tried to purchase Terrapins new Mexican Style Lager, Los Bravos, the $10.99 beer an associate already told me(because theres no listed price) STILL(this is about my 5th time purchasing it) has no scannable barcode, and the cashier proceeded to tag it at $16.99. They re creating an awkward dilemma for the consumer, people go oh well i guess thats their price, sheesh but the damage is already done.Today, 12 pack of Truly Tropical Hard Seltzer, has a pricetag in their cooler of $16.99, doesnt scan correctly at the front, cashier tries to ring up $17.99. I then got into a heated confrontation with the manager in a black shirt. I told him i shouldnt have to call his boss(he directed me to the bosss name and number on the glass screen) in order to get him to cease unethical practices, this was a reoccurring theme of overcharging people and he needed to stop immediately. Get your f***ing sh** together Circle K.
There were razor blades on the counter within reach of children I asked both clerks to remove them for safety reasons and they both refused to move them. One pushed them back lightly and went back to the clerk station, the other told me not to worry about it and to move on so I took a photo and reported it. This is a real safety concern.
This location does not sell Circle K nor Shell gift cards.
