Did fantastic work... block, crank and head turned out great. Mike and Mason both pointed out things to watch out for during cleaning and re-assembly, and even provided small containers of assembly lube to use.

Took several weeks just to wash engine then kept stalling on completing the rest of the work. Took to different (and better) shop. Also the old guy at the counter was constantly an a** over the phone and in person. Would never go back. Everyone else we talked to while we were there seemed like nice people though.

This is the end all, be all of machine shops in SoCal. They DO get busy because they are the best and worth every second and dollar you spend with them. This is the ONLY machine shop I would trust with my motors.Mason and Matt are the best in the business hands down.

Mike is an old-school, no-nonsense guy. They did all the machining for a Jeep stroker motor I built and it was top-notch. Recently, I had them machine the races on brake rotors to adapt them to an oddball vehicle. Mike got them done in a day, despite being very busy. Fair prices for excellent work!

I was referred to Engine Supply by several people that have had work done by them and I’m glad I listened.Brought my blown JZ motor to them for inspection and building.I dealt directly with Mason who was up front about the process and approx costs. They’re super busy and told me there would be a wait time and more so if we needed parts. We went for a fully built 2JZ-GTE with forged pistons, rods, billet main caps, etc. A motor capable of 1500 HP. Mason told me that we needed to upgrade certain parts since we were aiming for high HP and was honest about spending the extra money for nice stuff to ensure the integrity of the build and his labor. It was super nice to be able to bring a bare block and head and have them machine and assemble everything for me, saving me the hassle since I don’t have the tools or time.Whole process took about 60 days but I wouldn’t want to rush an already busy company and potentially cause them miss a small detail that could have ended in catastrophic failure to my $14k investment because I was impatient.Already planning the next build and Engine Supply is gonna be my first stop.Keep it up guys!Ed

Long story short: If you need your flywheel resurfaced, take it to Engine Supply aka Rimpau Company, Inc. The owner Mike helped me out and did a perfect job! I know that it is perfect because I measured with precision dial indicators etc. at my work (aerospace engineering co.). The runout is less than .0005 inch!My flywheel is from an aftermarket high performance Exedy twin disc clutch. It is a stepped flywheel and is more difficult than most to resurface. I had taken my flywheel to different automotive machine shop first, and when I got it back it looked fine by eye, but when I measured it, it was WAY WAY off! The runout was .015 inch! I went and got my money back from them and then took it to Mike at Engine Supply. He was able to fix their BIG mistake. In talking with Mike I could tell that he really knows his stuff and has been around the block. I would not hesitate to bring him any automotive machine work that I need in the future! Its a bit difficult to find the place and there is no sign on the building for whatever reason. Just look for the big number 304 on the front of the building.
