Havent been here for awhile and not since it was remodeled. The place looks nice and well organized. It was pretty clean when I was there.Bought a lot of items and prices were all competitive overall. They seem well stocked as well. I found everything I was looking for.Parking lot is spacious so I didnt have any trouble finding a spot. Location is convenient with lots of other stores and restaurants near by.I recommend this place for any grocery shopping or household needs or even for business owners.

Ruben and his staff at the Bristol Plaza on 17th street in Santa Ana are so helpful. They go out of their way to find what I’m looking for. I love shopping there.

The parmesan cheese cube things are absolutely exquisite 10/10.

Now a days with the purchase bag policy in California and covid its become self bagging with staff that act like entitled lazy people.Not so at Smart & Final. Throughout they provide a friendly full service experience. I never have to worry about holding up a line to bag my own groceries and they keep the lines to a minimum.The capper is I save money too!

Good deals on food, market is well organized for a discounted grocery store. Deals on food can be found at weekly newspaper that delivered to home. The market is on the way from my work to home so sometimes I drop by to pick up some stuffs that I need for a day.Fast cashiers and convenient location keep me going back.

Smart and Final is great. I always shop here before doing a cook out because I can buy in bulk.

The store always seems tidy, and the produce looks fresh. They have regular size packages as well as big box-sized packages of food. They also have unique kitchen utensils that you cannot find other places and restaurant style pictures and serving utensils. This week their chicken is on sale boneless skinless chicken breasts are on sale for $1.49 a pound! You have to buy the big package but it is great for freezing and at that price who wouldnt buy the large package?The cashiers can be friendly or all business and not so friendly but they are good at their job. The managers are the nicest people they really seem like they want to please the locals.There is lots of parking close to the store and plenty of shopping carts. And their store hours are very good too.

Store is much better since the remodel. Staff is nice and friendly. Parking is not bad. Restroom is a pain since you have to hunt down a store employee to unlock it. No cell service in store to call the manager to unlock the restroom. I spend an average of $340 every 2 weeks there. Thinking the drive to Huntington Beach will be worth it. They have a nice store and the restrooms are not locked to keep customers out. It might seem like a small thing until age catches up with you.Update: they installed a button next to restroom to notify employees customer needs restroom unlocked. Nice improvement over hunting them down.👍

Really clean store. Great location in a shopping center which allows you to go to other stores if need be. Next to a Target and Big 5. Was able to get all my shopping done in one visit. Friendly staff and very helpful.

I have found the fresh fruit selection to be one of the best around. I find substantial price reduction in the weekly deals as well as most prices here. The bulk food selection is vast and good. I have found courteous and helpful customer relations and recommend this market.

Always my Go To place for grocery shopping next to my work. Its always clean. But at times lacking on cashiers or gets a rude customer that goes on the 10 items only line and has 2 full shopping carts! Like today during lunch crowd rush for employees who work nearby and dont need to get stuck in that line the clearly says 10 items Only with a customer that has 2 full carts! Cashiers should follow their sign posts! Or close that line to redirect customers to another line. Because a customer like me who follows the rules to oblige store Management should get some respect and not have my time wasted by waiting for the 2 cart lady to check out on the 10 items check out line!!!!

Best times to go are first thing in the morning. Problem with smart and final is that they have no sense of urgency when its busy. Long lines at the check out

Wife had to use bathroom, was surprised by locked door. After shopping at Smart &Final all these years with no lock on door. Is Santa Ana the only store with locked door ? Does the Smart&Final in Irvine also lock their bathroom? Just wondering !

Any money you may save is outweighed by the slow, incompetent, or non-existent staff. Every visit to pick up something quick turns into a 40 minute line waiting ordeal. Id rather drive the extra 3 miles and go to Albertsons.

Its a closest store to my home but I dont like to go there. Customer service is horrible, they dont pack groceries anymore just stand there and give attitude. It wasnt just one incident it happened so many times not just to me but my friend felt the same way.

When in 8/3/17 around 3 or 4 and i had the most impatient cashier. He managed to charge me $4.34 for a 2 lbs of peruvian beans. Upon returning the item.. The black shirted guy couldnt verify the item on the receipt. Total for the loose beans.. 3.18!! I checked my receipt before walking out. Good thing. I would be down a dollar plus! He also decided to charge me 30 cents more on a water bottle that scanned 49 cents. Total of dollar for a water bottle that was suppose to be 54 cents. Its not more than $2 rip off but still. I came to save not get jipped by irresponsible cashiers. Stealing is not right! Ill post my receipt to show you i was there.

When I asked a hard working man who was working on a stocking project where an obscure item was located, he got up and insisted on leading me to it. The employees are great!

Electrical outage at 1pm. Everyone ordered to exit. Waited awhile until we were told all food in carts was being restocked. Left about 20 minutes later, still no electricity.

Not enough employees, had to wait 10-15 mins for them to give me the restroom code which is 5198...
