Contracted with Jason for a complete kitchen remodel from design through construction: new floors, cabinets, appliances. We are very pleased with the result. We have done full kitchen remodels in two previous houses, so we have some experience with remodeling. Jason was very good to work with; he explained everything, kept to the budget, and alerted us to potential extra costs when we asked for something not in the original bid. His crew was very good to work with; everyone wore masks. Communication throughout all phases of the job was excellent. The Covid pandemic delayed the start of work, but once we were able to begin, Jason kept to the construction schedule.

My wife and I worked with Jason and Castle Constriction on two very big projects for our condo. We first renovated two bathrooms and both turned out perfect. About a year after finishing that project we had a water leak that destroyed most of our kitchen. When we discovered the leak we were not sure who to call. Jason was our first call and he was at our condo within minutes, he immediately recognized the problem and had a plumber at our unit the same day.After realizing the damage that had been done to our kitchen we worked with Jason to completely remodel our entire downstairs. We opened up our kitchen space and along with Jason’s help designing we were able to create our dream kitchen.My wife and I had never been part of a remodel before, and Jason helped us everything step of the way. We were able to customize and create everything we wanted. My wife and I have the kitchen of our dreams and I now also have the living room of my dreams with three tv’s all mounted and with no wires showing.Jason was always cognizant of our budget and was honest with us if a certain idea of project might not work within out budget. Adam, Lenny, and Daniel who work with Jason are also amazing. They always respected our condo and cleaned up everyday after work was finished.I can’t say enough good things about working with Jason and Castle Construction. We hired him twice and will hire him again for our next project.

Jason designed and he and his crew installed our kitchen cabinets. We love our new kitchen!!!!There was an issue when our appliances went in and Jason dropped what he was doing on a Saturday to come and help us remedy the situation so we could cook dinner that night. Above and beyond customer service.

Had an addition added to our house along with remodel of the up stairs master bedroom and and added a retaining wall. The addition included a closet and bathroom attached to a new master bedroom. Our neighbors tell us that the house with addition looks like that is the way it was originally constructed. Workmanship is of the highest quality possible. Finished upgrades to all areas are of a person that takes pleasure it the finished job. Thank you Jason of walking us through the process from beginning to finished product. We love it!

Castle Construction did a terrific job for us on a complete kitchen remodel Including removing a wall and opening up into living area. They also added a Pella sliding glass door and more. Jason and his crew were always professional, courteous, and accommodating as needed. I highly recommend them!

There are not enough positive things to say about Castle Construction, but I will try. We started off our remodel journey assuming things would be nice. I can honestly say that the final outcome exceeded my wildest expectations. The helpful ideas, honesty, and overall execution of our remodel process was excellent. From major decisions like cabinets or flooring to smaller details like grout color, Jason’s expertise and years of experience were extremely helpful. There was constant communication throughout the process which made me feel like I could really let go of control knowing that Jason was on top of everything. His team was not only professional and excellent at their job, but very respectful of our home and some of the kindest people we have met. We had Jason Tapia remodel our master bathroom. It was a complete demo and remodel. Jason walked us through the remodel at the outset, helping us with lots of decisions along the way, offering different options for different price points. And we were really happy with the design. He and his crew were incredibly kind and hard working. The whole thing came in under budget, on time, and they were patient with all of our needs along the way. Would hire again... will hire again when we save up for the office remodel.

We hired Jason to do a major renovation on an old bathroom. Jason was amazing. It is our first home and our first renovation so we were on a budget and had a lot of questions. Jason helped us make decisions that fit our budget. He did such a great job that his initial estimate was what we ultimately paid, even with a couple of surprises that this old house threw at us ;). We love how the bathroom turned out and we really enjoyed working with Jason and Lenny. They paid such attention to detail. Everything is perfect and what we wanted. After this experience I’ve learned that you want your contractor to be very knowledgeable and creative. Jason is both. He had great ideas and was great at solving/managing unexpected problems. You also want a contractor who has a great team. All the guys that work with Jason are great at their jobs AND pleasant to have in your house all day. As we did the work during COVID, everyone was always respectful, careful, and wearing a mask. We literally can’t wait until we can start our next project!

We had to do an emergency kitchen rebuild, due to a slab leak underneath our kitchen, which required tearing up the old kitchen. Jason and his team got on it right away, provided options for the redesign, recommended how to replumb the area to avoid a similar issue, and got us going. We finished the project on time, within our budget, and the new kitchen looks great, with all new cabinetry and fresh paint.

Jason and his team renovated the main floor of our house in the process of building a new kitchen. The living area was opened up completely, including removing walls and installing new wood floors. Castle started with complete demolition of our old kitchen, altered and repaired all plumbing and electrical work, brought in new cabinetry and countertops, backsplash and appliances. The space was transformed from 1950’s drab and dysfunctional, to open, modern, and bright, greatly enhancing our ocean views. Jason and his team are honest snd professional, as well as being genuinely nice guys and very helpful. We are planning to do additional projects with them. I HIGHLY recommend Castle Construction.

We highly recommend Jason Tapia of Castle Construction of Santa Barbara. Jason walked us through every step of the complete gut and rebuild of our house. Jason had excellent suggestions to make the most of our budget. This included removal of hazardous building materials used in the original construction of the house. Castle Construction did a major remodel of our home including 2 bathrooms, the master bedroom, and the kitchen and living areas among many smaller upgrades. Jason reminds me of my Father in that he can do anything, no short cutting, calls out issues as they arise, patiently explains and lays out options. His team and subs are all excellent and very service oriented. I can recommend Jason Tapia of Castle Construction in the strongest terms. I own a small condo in Santa Barbara that I was planning on thoroughly renovating. Despite the small size of the project, particularly by Santa Barbara standards, Jason never considered the job to be small time. To my mind, he gave my project the time and attention that would be due for a far larger project. I found Jason to be honest, respectful, insightful, and an extremely straight shooter. Additionally, I also found that Jason was very good at recommending alternatives for increasing the value delivered for the dollar spent.I want to particularly mention a very important skill that Jason has that not all contractors have - namely, real skill in working with home owners associations (HOA). If you are getting any significant renovation work done in a condo, the board of the HOA will need to sign off first. And if you have a rigorous HOA, like I do, the board can very easily shut a project down before it even gets started. I saw Jason masterfully convince my extremely skeptical HOA board to approve my renovation plan (a plan that had been previously rejected when I was working with another contractor). The board was so won over by Jason that they planned to use my renovation as a model that future contractors could use as a guide. The difference between Jason and other contractors in their HOA-handling-skill was extremely clear - even at the HOA board meeting where my project was approved. Prior to my project getting approved, the HOA board spent literally half an hour beating up on another contractor who was proposing renovations on behalf of a condo owner. It became quickly obvious that this other contractor had no ability to engage the board and as a consequence that whole project went down in flames.So, in summary, I would most strongly recommend Jason Tapia and Castle Construction.
