I was so excited to see an electronics store in Santa Barbara. I hate buying from Amazon, and I want to support local business as much as possible.I immediately noticed the mediocre quality of their products. The consumable parts (such as wire) and electronic components seem OK. But tools appear to be third-rate quality. The brands are not reputable at all -- in fact, most of them do not show up on Google, which tells me that theyre cheap, unknown brands. They do have a cool junk yard of old equipment, which is actually pretty neat. If youre simply looking for components or old replacement parts, then perhaps youd enjoy this store.Staff is not friendly. I was hoping that, as a small business, itd be nice to talk to a real person. But after attempting to have a conversation with them, they didnt seem to care at all. Maybe they were having a bad day, which is understandable.Finally, they dont accept refunds. No refunds until further notice. Theres a subtle little sign that tells you this, but I didnt notice until it was too late. So I guess Im irresponsible. Ultimately, it gives the impression that they dont care about their customers -- they just want money.At the end of the day, I felt like I wasted my time and money. I dont think Ill be going back.

This place has been outstanding since a time when Radio Shack used to give out free batteries. You can find pretty much everything for ANY project . The view of the planes coming in to the airport a free extra, they have excellent knowledge of Ham Radio.

Right next to the airports control tower. If youre not there, youre NOT there yet..Friendly knowledgeable staff too.😎

Top notch! This is the perfect old school electronics store. Has a great combination of brand new technology (hdmi cables, networking kits, etc.) while also having a great supply of parts for old school repair work. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Strongly recommend shopping here!

We always run short of basic electronic parts for produciton line mods or repairs. We are new to Goleata, (2018) and got tired of waiting 2 days for parts delivery from typical online vendors. We Google Electronics and Santa Barbara Electronics popped up. We drover over (1/2 mile away??), and found a VERY Nice E Parts Shop! Reminded me of the old Radio Shacks! Full range of small electronic parts from IC chips, Resistors, LEDs, MOSFETs, Capacitors (both types), Transformers, Small DC Motors, Meters, Relays, test leeds, you name it the. I did not see PCBs like Arduino or Raspberry Pie, National Control Devices. Not sure if they shop offers PCB prototype services or Programming Services,,,, but Im sure they can help locate it for you if needed. Nice team, the young man in the shop that day was very friendly. Clean, nice product displays, easy to find items, take cash and credit cards,,,Five Stars

Normally I really like this place. But this time they actually didnt have anything I was looking for., None of which were obscure or unusual. Id really prefer to give them my business, but now Im stuck going to the web

This store has a good selection of just about anything you might need, and a really nice, knowledgeable, and helpful staff to guide you. What else could you want? Bravo! Its about time.

Great selection of electronic parts (including PCB protyping), tools, network cable (patch and spools) and even some drone/RC cables and components. Proprietor was friendly and helpful. Prices were quite reasonable.

Guy behind the counter was most excellent in talking to me about what I wanted to do and saved me money by pointing out some websites where I could build my own info instead of buying equipment. I will definitely go back there again soon. Great selection and helpful service.

Yes, its there. No you have not breached fedral restricted space, its really up against the fence of the airport. After 6 U turns I finally found the place. They didnt have exactly what I needed but they did have things to improv with. Staff is super friendly. They offered me chips and guac which I accepted. Im just glad they existed.

First time in, Andrew gave me a full tour and helped me pick out my newbie first soldering setup! Super nice and informative.

Now that there is no Radio Shack, this is a good place to buy things like adaptors, anything electronic. Theyve moved though, its near the private airfield. Find the business that says Learn to Fly Here! and its directly behind with the neon Open sign.

Bose is well known for its outstanding sound quality but what we do not hear enough about is how the company stands behind their products.I can only speak for the Santa Barbara, CA West field Center store but when I brought my broken Q2s in for service or trade-in their response was over the top and I walked out with new Q15s. I doubt thats their standard policy but thanks and kudos to Patrick Russell and is staff.
