Ordered my cake about a week in advance and I ordered all purple I did not get any of that all I got was a mixture of Pinks and blues that look like purple and whatever else the lady wanted to put on it so Im not sure Ill be ordering cakes from this lucky anymore the original lucky so we ordered our cakes from was off of Matilda and Sunnyvale there was this lady named Kelly but shes no longer there but I did get word of mouth that Miss Kelly is in alviso Luckys and if you want a professional custom-made cake you probably want to travel to alviso Luckys and ask for Miss Kim

One doesnt expect to get emotional at a grocery store, but there I was, in the produce section, concentrating on not crying.An elderly, disabled, and slightly unkempt man initiated a conversation with a worker who was stocking the produce...and the worker engaged and chatted happily with him as he did his work for several minutes. The worker asked questions and reacted to responses. It was just real kindness.Thirty minutes later (I ran into a friend), I ended up behind the same man at the check stand. Again, there was nothing but kindness from the store staff. The bagger helped him put his groceries on the conveyer belt. The cashier and the bagger both talked with the man as his groceries were scanned. Finally, the bagger walked out with the man to help him load the groceries in his car. His car was near mine so again, I got to watch the interaction. The worker was so patient and kind as she rearranged his items to fit in his car. They were still working as I pulled out.People are good.

Heres one for the Yucky file. I bought 2 Pomegranates and one was rotten. Ew... I was going to return it but the covid risk wasnt worth the $4.00Just make sure to check for soft spots. Im not slamming them in the rating since I really like this store and have been coming here for 25 years. They are a honest and friendly bunch.

If I could give odd stars, I would never give one star! The woman in the pick-up department is indescribably low in quality! No quality! Its rude to talk to others! Even said: You are not a customer, you go out! I want to say that Lucky Supermarket employs such people as employees. She must at least have the qualities an employee should have! Simply put the lucky supermarket to shame! Lowered the level of the entire lucky supermarket! It feels disgusting!

I never have been here to this location, boy was I impressed,. Very clean and large location, isles were very wide, selections I must admit seemed endless and bigger than other Luckys which I always like. I been to many stores before this one, such as smart and final, Safeway, some mexican markets, Walmarts also. But none have had a bigger charcoal. Selection like this place, applewood, mesquite, and some.others. lucky me I guess for stopping here. Oh, I also seen cactus juice,.. exactly....who knew that exist..?

Good prices, quality brands, clean produce, etc. for standard Anglo food necessities. Safeway has higher prices, but better baked goods, Walmart has lower prices, but rougher-looking produce. Asian markets are the only place to find a good selection of Asian foods. Lucky is a reasonable in-between option.

Depressing, run down store closes at 10 PM. What? I’ve never heard of a general supermarket that closes so early. Flashing light outside half off sets the tone well. Don’t try your “Luc” here folks.

This has been a long time coming. I have been shopping here every week for my grandparents, for the last few years. These people are absolutely wonderful, everyone I have had the pleasure of meeting is down to Earth, genuine, and helpful. They are all greatly appreciated!

They need to do a makeover in this store like the luckys in Dublin now that one is awesome!

I like this store, the meat is usually decent. Produce is much better than Safeway and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have been there for a long time, low employee turnover is a good thing! This is our go to store because its less expensive and never crowded. While I like to shop here, I hope the good reviews dont attract too much people otherwise it will just turn into a busy plaza. Parking lot is dark at night but thats okay they usually have police around.

I called on August 7, 2020 at 11 AM inquiring about renting Rug Doctor unit. The male representative who answered the phone at the customer service desk said that 24 hour rentals were available for rental for $34.99 with a $15 deposit.Today, August 8, 2020, at 7PM, I came to pick up a unit. When I requested to rent a Rug Doctor unit, all of the store associates rudely told me to leave. An older male representative, rudely told me to get out now! This older male representative was a bagger personnel. Only then, an older female representative, told me that all Luckys will not rent out Rug Doctor units. The female representative was in charge of the self checkout registers.I wasted time and money coming to this location only to be rudely told to leave immediately.

I cant not give them 5 stars, and Ill explain why in a moment, but while I *love* this store, they used to get pickle loaf Oscar Meyer baloney, and pimento loaf Oscar Meyer baloney, and they dont any more. Boo. :-) But, here is what I do love about this store: I play hockey Sat night and since they are open until 1am, even after the late game, bam, theyre open and I can get a bite. They carry Nathans pickles which are my faves. They have those prepackaged salads, which are my go-to after a hockey game. They have a good selection of healthy bread. A good selection of yogurt. A good selection of 100% juices. (See a trend here?) In other words, I have zero complaints about being able to get something healthy here. There are rumors that this shopping center will go away, and get turned into more high density housing like across the street where Kmart/Kohls used to be. Man, I hope not. I really like this Luckys!

For some reason their signage especially on sales items is extremely unclear. And so if youre purchasing a sale item your eyes have to be really aware and catch it because it often does not show up on the register. They have a very inexpensive unscented clay cat litter that is absolutely wonderful. Everything else the quality and the service Im not too impressed with

Pretty standard grocery store. Always seems clean. Happy with all the produce Ive gotten so far, and never had much of an issue finding what Im looking for.

Store is a bit run down. But it has the essentials and decent variety. The do have a outdoor BBQ pit with beer, not sure of what days they fire that up. Perhaps with the new massive housing coming up across the street they will remodel the store.

The battle between Safeway and Lucky has been heating up.Ive been going to this lucky because until recently Lucky has has the better prices, but to be truthful I always felt Safeway had the better meat and produce. Prices seem to be swinging back to Safeways favor.I dont know. For me this location is easier to shop and park, but ???. I guess prices rule. The nice butcher at Safeway tells me they both use the same supplier.Once again, reason again to let prices rule.

If I could give negative stars, I would do so! This used to be a great grocery store. You used to be able to get things fresh, even jackfruit. It was organized, clean, and better than Safeway and Sprouts. Now, after the obvious change in management, this Ave is terrible. Its a challenge to find vegetables that arent almost rotten. The store is filthy, most of the employees are clear unhappy with the store as well, and nothing is fresh. Vegetables rot within a day, in the fridge!! The employees try to be helpful, and are usually polite, but at night, its pretty much a free for all. My family will be going to another store, any other store from now on .

This supermarket is open on weekdays late until 1am, which is such a big convenience.They also have added an orange juice squeeze machine next to the self check-out area but they do remove it everyday after 7pm.They have great selection of goods, I always find myself coming here for last minute items (from gift items to that one ingredient I am missing to complete what Im cooking).Their self checkouts machines have also been upgraded this month. The only annoying side of visiting this location is during late evenings (after 10pm) because they close the self checkout area but only has one register open so there is often a long line and most of the time it is when you only have 1-3 items.

A much better market than I expected, certainly better than Safeway. Well stocked with stuff I expected to have to go to a more upscale market for. Good produce. I dont get Meat here, the pork tastes gamey. Great for groceries, to, and very helpful people. They helped me shop when I was recovering from surgery and having a hard time.

I shop at Luckys possibly every week but lately since they change policies the produce has gotten worse and very expensive thethe meat department has changed radically they dont have as much markdowns as they used to have this a lot more waste on the meat of all this close to the house again so I have no problem shopping there but its not my favorite place that none of the Safeway or Luckys or save Mart I find it be very expensive Im tight with a buck hell I go down to the 99 cent store in San Jose and I get better prices on produce for a dollar and then I can get in somebodys place is like Safeway and Luckys and as fresh I mean like a bunch of asparagus a dollar 5 lb of potatoes a dollar you know stuff like that

Well stocked, fresh produce, good beer selection. Great ethnic section (including Indian foods). Just wish there werent so many sketchy transient (aka homeless) people loitering in the front. My wife sends me to do all the groceries now :(

Mgr was on the floor today.... Very helpful and personable.... Great customer service.... But.. The butcher not so nice.....He was still setting up his display case and I asked for some diver scallops because they looked great...his response as he rolled his eyes was...what do you wantI said can i get 6 of your scallops...nice fat ones and pointed a few out..After a loud sigh while he was shaking his head he reluctantly began to fill my order... Only grabbing a couple of the ones I had selected and quickly grabbed the ones he thought I should have - which were pretty small compared to the othersCashier was great... Hes been there for years... I think his name might be Steve..around 10 am checkstand next to self check... Always smiling

I shop here a lot and all the employees that work here are friendly and helpful. Especially during the holidays! The store is always clean and you can find things easily.

Most everything great except for not enough vegan options..I asked a clerk if there is any vegan options and her response was not really she had her back to me,atleast she couldve look towards me and I had to say excuse me 3 times before she even responded

Clean, well stocked and prices are competitive. A couple of the Checkers are slower than Forrest Gump, but most are ok. Love the fact they employ several handi-capable people whos perceived disabilities would have, in the past, disqualified them from employment there.

Good overall grocery store for everyday shopping. Organics available and generally a good selection. Produce is typically fresh, however occasionally they dont remove the old stuff and restock so beware. I like the rewards program because it helps save me money. I still have to go to TJs and WFs to find everything I need to complete my list.

I wouldn’t recommend this lucky to any my friends or family member. My friend when to shopping for stuff she needed. One day the manager Justin and his coworkers followed my friends around. She noticed something not right, when she done shopping Justin followed her out, talking on phone on other line describing my friend to the person he talked on the phone. If Justin wants to found some other person to blame and try to call cops again when she in the area. He needed to be care he might receive worse karma come to him anytime.

This store is almost too large. The closer to closing each night, the harder it is to find anyone to assist you. 11:50 pm and its a ghost town. No cashier or anyone in sight. Has happened more than once to myself alone.

Avoid this place if you can! Not worth getting insulted or frustrated.Last night, I went into the store to pick up a few items. Allergy medicine, toiletries, and yogurt drinks. It was around 8:15 pm and I was dressed in shorts, a nice tank top, with my hair pulled back in a casual bun. (Hang in there, there is a reason for the detail.)Took me less than 10 minutes to get what I needed. Yet, apparently, I have to go through a whole process to get the box of Claritin. First the cashier tried to make me go to customer service counter in order to get the box - only to be informed by shift supervisor that was incorrect. Cashier didn’t apologize. As I was filling out the paper work (again, to buy a box of Claritin) the shift supervisor insulted me after she examined by driver’s license. Out loud she said I looked like a baby in my driver’s license. Then she was shocked when I told her it was taken only 4 years ago. I gave her a meaningful stare of disgust and let the uncomfortable silence linger until the shift supervisor realized she was out of line with her comments. She tried to back track with an unconvincing statement that she didn’t mean to imply I looked old... I informed her that was exactly what she just did. She didn’t apologize for being rude but thanked me for filling out the paper work.After my transaction was completed and as the cashier was handing me my receipt and items - it was then she asked if I wanted a bag (you know, a bag that needs to be paid for). I informed the cashier that in fact I did but since she didn’t ask me while she was ringing me up or when I was filling out the paper work, I didn’t get a chance to ask for one. That earned me an insincere “I’m sorry.”Considering this is the 2nd lame check out experience I’ve personally had from this store, I plan on avoiding it for future shopping needs. It’s not worth getting insulted and frustrated.
