A regular customer of the Big Orange, although I visit Big Blue on occasion too. If the hardware store were the bar in Cheers they would all cry NORM! as I walk in the door.I cant remember a project that I didnt go there at least twice for and three times for plumbing for sure. I am familiar with the layout and many people working there know me. For those who dont know the layout, its available online and in-store. It will guide you like a cruise missile to the aisle and shelf you need.Very Veteran Friendly, dont forget to ask for your discount if you are a Military Veteran.

Some services okay but their inventory system sucks. I have been looking for a specific chair rail molding to complete my project. I went to the Santa Maria store who was very helpful. They told me they did not have it. They looked at other stores and found that san Luis Obispo store had 3, atascadero store had 11 and the goleta store had 17 in stock. She called san luis store and confirmed. When I got there, i was informed that they did not have that item in quite some time. I then called the atascadero store and they confirmed what their inventory said but could not find any. I then called the goleta store and they left me on hold and never came back.

Unfortunately, I was completely appalled and disgusted by how filthy dirty every single shopping cart was. It wasnt just a week or so dirty, this was grime built up over a very long time! It was a real turn off and didnt want to be there at all. The Santa Maria store isnt like that and Im in Arroyo Grande. I shouldve and wanted to be supporting our local businesses, sadly, it wont be this one...

Had a great experience there. I purchased a few things and I asked one of their workers if they sold cardboard.She went to the storage room and found be what I needed. I wish I would have gotten her name. She had a pony tail - mid to late 40s. I remember seen the name on the uniform and thinking that could be a boys or girls name.She was super helpful

Im always going here for all my paint supplies Kat in the paint are is very knowledgeable about paint and is always very helpful and can answer most of your questions. And even tho she is wearing a mask you can tell shes always smiling and has great costumer service

This Home Depot is one of the better ones that I have ever been inside, and Ive been all over the country..Their stock is usually always full, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable (for the most part).Good job SM Home Depot!

I visited Home Depot to purchase LED lightbulbs. At checkout I attempted to use an old Home Depot gift card but each time the clerk ran the card it didnt work. I took the card to customer service and the first clerk said the gift card was too old, the system no longer recognized it, and he wasnt able to do anything for me. I asked him about the money left on the card and he just shrugged his shoulders and said I would just have to eat the loss. I asked one of the other clerks if they could call the store manager for me. Within a few minutes the assistant manager, Sergio arrived and began to help me. Very quickly he determined how much money was left on my card and offered to create a new card for me. He used the time to train another associate on how to issue a replacement card. The assistant manager, Sergio and the young associate he was training, Haley turned what started out as a frustrating situation into a satisfying outcome. Thank you Sergio and Haley! 😃

I think that the customer service there is very good and even the guy Jose at the customer service. At the self-checkout help me and assisted me all the way through till I was done with my toys action because the item would not scan. I appreciate good customer service

Went to Santa Maria to buy a gift. Very busy couldnt find any help. Spotted an employee ask for help. He personally took me to the aisle I needed and helped me find what I was looking for. Thank you James a job well done during this busy and hectic times.

Two different associates were unable to help me find what I was looking for. I finally walked out when another customer asked a question of the associate who was helping me and the guy blew me off and walked away. Found everything I needed on Amazon instead.

I almost always go here for home improvement items, or when I need to fix something in the house. I love their Ryobi tools, and their prices are usually lower than anyone elses!

Auhhha! Home Depot and money in the bank! Just driving on Betteravia and my car homes in on Home Depot! Cant fight it. Dont need one, but I had to buy a Roybi 10 cordless buffer and polisher. Good thing I had a mask on cause I got a good deal! Felt guilty of something. Place could be flooded and it still get 5 stars from me! PS. I found where they were hiding a sander that I actually went there to buy. Next time....

My father was just there asking a guy who .looked like an Italian fellow and asked him if he could help him, and if he spoke Spanish. The home depot employee asked my father why he didnt speak English if we are in the United States. Just sick to my stomach with the nerve of home depot employee, when all he wanted was help for a chain for his chainsaw. What a pos imo for doing that to him unbelievable this is allowed 😳

Zin Zone at Valley Fresh Market in Solvang. Zin is serving up some amazing Poke bowls and fresh Sushi. The Poke bowls start with a large scoop of sticky rice then a bed of romane lettuce next comes a healthy protion of Ahi tuna avacado squid salad seaweed salad crab salad sesami seeds and a delicious poke sauce soo good a perfect healthy choice for lunch. Zin gets his fish fresh every Tuesday and will cusomize your bowl if your not into the original ingredients.

I have been shopping at home Depot for years. Most of the time I received fair to excellent service. Today I received some of the best service I have ever had at any hardware store. The young mans name was Wes he helped me so far past what would be normally expected it amazing. He is a true asset to home Depot. Home Depot normally has what Im able to find it yet it and move on. today I needed a little extra help less was there helped me out and we got loaded and gone in a very short time. Thank you Wes you did a great job.

Apparently their version of curbside pickup involves waiting for at least 20 minutes in your car once the order is ready for pickup. Lowes is much faster at bringing out the items purchased, so would a trained slug

Interesting experience.Was returning previously installed parts,WITH receipt. After install, within a minute, they proved to be defective. A dept mgr James was called & said numerous times These are years old. & other derogatory comments. Store Mgr. explained they only take back items to put back/resell. YES, my items were installed, thats how we knew they didnt work!! Now we know why oftentimes u come home with missing parts from your purchases.

Always helpful and store is kept clean.

Last night I went in 10 minutes before closing and RUDY was a tremendous help! I went in to get some ant spray and they did not have the one I normally get and he helped me find it although it was the jug version and not the bottle but he made sure it was safe for inside the house and was really helpful. Most of the time when you go in a store right before closing employees give you the vibe of get out but he did not! He was supper helpful.

Service you can count on, at curbside pick up 2 young men placed 6 80 pound bags of mortar mix and 4 heavy bags of concrete mix in my vehicle.Very nice fellows and so convenient.

Check your online order when you pick it up at this store. They will make mistakes and then tell you that You have to go in to return the wrong items that they picked!!! What is the purpose of doing the curbside pickup if you end up having to go into the store that you are trying to avoid during Covid times if they pick the wrong item and then they tell you you have to go in to return it!!!

I went in to get some blinds and asked someone to point in the right direction. Not sure if he was new or just didnt want to help me but he just pointed and walked away. Then I asked two other workers if they could help me fine the size I needed and they said they would be back and never came back. Ended up leaving and will not go back!

Ultimate do it yourself store. Great for the handy man or hobbyist who loves working on home projects or any project. Just bought our first washer and dryer and Ramone was a huge help. Great customer service. Will be shopping here for a long time

Always out of stock of the things u need

Pet peave. Answer your phone. Your a business. This is a pandemic dude. Like I want to make a trip over there, park, put mask on, then look for an item that more than likely you dont have on stock. Answing the phone is one of the MOST basic positions any business could afford. In further thought where are all of the super busy employees, the non phone answerers when Im actually forced to go to the store? Figure it out

We came into your store to purchase some boards for our fence. We only needed 6, and asked the associate, Jake, to cut about a foot off the bottom for us.He acted like it was a big inconvenience for him to help us, even though it is his job. There were 2 employees talking about this employee and were commenting on his terrible attitude. Another customer also commented to my husband about his attitude. This young msn client need to be working with the public. Zero customer service skills.

Had to purchase some heavy railroad ties. They were extremely helpful with grabbing a forklift and helping load these heavy ties into my truck.

There are more employees than before the pandemic, but still hard to find someone to help you. Young employees hang out talking to each other. Items out of stock and put in wrong places so tag shows wrong prices

The phone at the Santa maria store just rings and rings. And rings. And rings. Are they being held up? Should I call John McLean to go help? Typical of every home depot: decent variety of stuff, poor customer service. And theyre located such that youre dependent on them. Brilliant business model.

Do not give them your email or private info. They sell it. If you are in California and want to check their policies it goes to a dead link that states oops. Were fixing it. Their Privacy and Security agreement says they will share your contact information with 3rd parties.
