My wife and I were towed in with a severe electrical issue and this shop went the extra mile at their own expense to make sure that the vehicle left in proper working order. The original mechanic misdiagnosed it so we ended up paying $6 for hundreds of dollars worth of work. The manager Daniel is a great person, honest and kind. They have a master technician who has been working on vehicles for them for over four decades. Great shop and experience.
Once inside the people are good but this place never opens on time 30 minutes late to open and counting...
Ive had good experiences with Sears. I have came here for tires, maintenance and oil changes. My car has always been delivered as promised and they have helped me out. Took in for an oil change the other day with an appointment and it was done in 45 minutes.
Replaced a battery. The next day, the car died at the gas station. A friendly young man helped me and said that the contact needed cleaning. He tightened the connectors. While driving, the car died again. Again someone helped me and he noticed that the cable to the battery had a bolt and no mother. When going over a bumb it cameloose from the battery. This could have been a bad accident if it would happened on the Freeway.
Sears auto center takes care of theyre customers. Highly recommend!
As with most auto shops.. it is best to make an appointment. They get to them quickly. If you just show up as a walk in, well you may have to wait awhile. Appointments are done first and then they try to squeeze you in, generally telling you itd take an hour or two.I made an appointment for 2 new tires and it was done within 45 minutes. Not bad considering they were a little busy at the time.Theres good and bad at every shop, sadly most reviews get posted because of a negative experience while positive experiences dont normally get posted.
Went in before 6 (got out of work a little late) because that’s when THEIR website said they closed. I was told previously to come back on Wednesday because that’s when they’d have a shipment for the battery I needed for my car, I was just going to go and purchase it and install it at home. My dad and I were met by a very rude worker who stated they closed at 5 and when we told him we went off what THEIR website said, he said very loudly, “Well the internet is wrong.” I tried to ask him if they had gotten the battery in so I could come back the following day but he was very bothered by us simply asking a question. Maybe they should update their website for their customers so they can better know when to come and avoid getting yelled at by their personnel.
I dont like ther customer service wen you get to the help disco make told me dont have time and I ask for his suparviser he told me that he is the mean of the Sears oil location I dont like the way the give service I rather go to jiffyluop. Thanks Sears
Inept is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of this place. Unfortunately for Tire Rack, this is a place they picked as an authorized installer. Was on hold for 20mins when I called to ask them how long it would take to get a tire put on that I had already ordered and had shipped to their location. After being told just show up, TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER, no tire was put on (yet one of their monkeys had been in my car and moved my seat around), and I walked out with my keys and the loose tire to have someone else install.Never again. Having a 6th grade shop class work on your car would be a better idea.
I wouldnt risk going there. I went to Sears auto center a few weeks ago to change oil in my Audi a6. On a few days I started to smell an oil burning under the hood and then lots of smoke started to come from there. I changed the oil level and it was on minimum. So I took my car back to Sears and they said that the gasket of the oil filter wasnt the right size and it was liking oil from there (witch I dont buy).
Great tires, service not so much.
Wait time is terrible no one is at the counter to help you.
Best
😃
Yesterday I had 1 appointment to change the oil in the car and it took 2 hours and that I had an appointment.,, that there are places there, that they say they do and do nothing,,, or yes, they charge you for nothing, there are young people,, and that they are doing. it was better before than if they had responsible and hard-working people, now the one they have is of little use ...
