Fixed the impossible. My boyfriend and I thought our E-bike was a lost cause, but this shop proved us otherwise. We also expected a much larger price tag than we received. Overall, a great experience done professionally at a reasonable price. Couldnt be better.

Great shop with good value. I had to repair my bike chain and have a rack installed and it was taken care of within a couple of hours (other shops I’ve been to in the area usually take a day or two). Jorge took great care of everything with wonder customer service!! Highly recommend, will definitely come back if needed in the future!

I came in here with a flat tire, that had just been “fixed” by a shop on Main St in Santa Monica.They have exponentially better service and quality work, and charged significantly less than the other shop.Highly recommend.

Stopped in in recommendation of a friend/fellow rider. Great service and quality work! Very very reasonable prices too! Jorge was able to remove a sheared off bolt from the rear suspension on my basically new mountain bike (that I had completed messed up and over-torqued). It was stuck in there real good, and he got it out without a scratch (not an easy task). I just walked in and dropped off my bike, and he was able to take care of it in a few hours too which was awesome. Ive never had such prompt, quality bike service at such a good value! I will be back!

Best bike shop in LA. If you own a mountain bike this is the best place to take it for any kind of service. They charge a fair price and provide the best service. I needed to service my rear shock and they charged me a very fair price. The shock was not working properly and instead of charging me more they sent the shock to be replaced under warranty! I had to pay nothing and I got a new shock!

Any place that openly displays a sign on their front window stating “unvaccinated and unmasked welcome” has lost my business. Despicable that such backwards and anti-science people exist especially in a place like Santa Monica.-From a family of healthcare providers in the neighborhood

I don’t like to give negative reviews about local business but this place unfortunately deserves it.I was referred to this shop by another shop since they were overwhelmed and wouldn’t be able to service the bike. That brought me to the bicycle workshop. I explained to the clerk what needed to be done and he quoted me a fair price and said to pick it at the end of the day.I returned and it wasn’t ready. I wasn’t upset and told the mechanic to not rush it and I’ll be back tomorrow.I come back the next day and grabbed the bike to check if the work was done. It wasn’t done right. Rushed and sloppy which was disappointing. I walked back in and said that it’s not right. The clerk was being a total grouch. I just needed something simple done and it just wasn’t done. Maybe I should have wrote down exactly what needed to be done, but a verbal explanation should’ve done the trick.I came back at the end of the following day to pick up the bike. I got a whole explanation of other minor things that were wrong with the bike which I knew about and could take care of on my own, but the mechanic had to point that out to me. He adjusted the issue and had me check. I looked and I said calmly with a thank you.He condescendingly replied with a dumb comment about the part that needed adjusting.As a new client that wanted to give this shop business, I now will not. I wanted to purchase a few more items but opted not to give them the business. I always need small parts, tubes, cables, bar tape, etc. That small stuff ads up.I think the mechanic is probably good but why be condescending? I don’t get it.I’ve been in a lot of bike shops over my life. I have a friends that own shops and work at shops. I enjoy talking about bikes and giving these places my business. This experience left me sour.

My shifters werent working correctly. I took it there to get looked at.. He said he would take a look at it, if he could fix it he would charge me a price he quoted, if not he would have to replace.. He was able to fix and I was a happy customer. Thank u

Ive serviced my bike here countless times and the work has always been perfect and timely. Every six months or so I get my breaks changed on my Electric bike. I took my mountain bike there for a clean up and tune up and when I went to pick it up I was shocked how clean and tight the bike was. Always friendly and fair.

I dropped off my bike here and got the work i wanted done in a very reasonable amount of time. The only reason Im not leaving them 5 stars is for the following.After getting home with my bike i realized that the $150 headset that i purchased seemed worn out and the letters around it seemed corroded. I decided to call the shop and see if they had an explanation. Within seconds of me bringing it up the mechanic says dont worry come back and ill give you a discount. For the little effort he took to defend his position I can only imagine that this was a take off part that he had laying around, and since I caught it he immediately gave in and gave me some money back. I do appreciate the money back in my pocket, but a quick phone call saying Hey I have a slightly used one laying around here I can offer you a discount on it wouldve sat much better with me.

We went in here and brought an abandoned bike that we found in our apartment when we moved in. In one hour, the employee turned our rusty bike into a nearly brand new one. It looks amazing. The service was really good and their price was fair. I highly recommend it.

Jorge was head mechanic at Supergo for decades. He is one of the best bike mechanics in the industry. Hes famous for fixing things that others cant. He has an amazing collection of good used parts harvested from decades of repair work that can save big bucks compared to new parts. And his prices on new gear are always discounted. He works fast and charges far less than other shops in Santa Monica/WLA.

I went to get my bike tire fixed. I waited over 30 minutes for it. I paid the overpriced cost of replaying a tube which was $21. After it was done, I tried to ride and the tire exploded. I went in the shop and explained what happened and the owner said they will fix it. He said nothing else as if he knew what they did there in the shop. This is messed up. Don’t go there. Waste of time and money. DONT GO THERE!

I love this bike shop. I have taken different bikes for different repairs and feel that the service is friendly, quick, and done at a very reasonable price. Today, my bike lock and helmet were stolen, and I had 10 minutes before work today to replace them. Jorge and the owner were super helpful and got me out of there with what I needed and on time for work. They were super kind despite the fact that I was in a huge hurry. First review ever for any shop anywhere.

Had my road bike majorly worked on. Its a very fair price, its not cheap, but youre getting quality work. They also finished it faster than expected (a day and a half to do a ton of work???)

The new owner (since January 2018) is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and an overall great mechanic. Opening times are expanded too, the store is open seven days a week now.The new bike selection looks great, good mix of touring and racing styles. Great selection of handy bike trinkets and tools, none of the usual fads.I did not see any recumbent bikes when I was here.

Im a returning costumer of Jorge from performance bikes, due to his excellent service with my full suspension mountain bike. Now that hes at the bicycle workshop, parking is easy, service turnaround is very fast, and parts Ive ordered arrive very fast, if not next day, and at a competitive price! Ive found my new go to bike shop thats for sure.

I was building a gokart and needed some cables for the throttle and breaking and the homie at this shop took time out of his repairs to run me through a couple options and solutions that ended up working extremely well. Very satisfied.

One day I went to ride my bike and both my back and front brakes didnt work. I went into Bike Workshop and the gentleman there fixed it in about two minutes and didnt charge me at all for his service. He didnt try to tell me that I needed some super expensive item or up sell me on anything. He was really courteous and fast and I will absolutely go back whenever I have any bike related problem.I have been to this shop before for a tear in my tire and had the same great experience. The same gentleman fixed it quickly and for a really fair price. I feel lucky this shop is in my neighborhood.

Been to this shop when it was the previous owners’. Great service. With the new owner he continues to offer the same serice. Trued my wheels that other shops couldnt handle.

I have brought all my bikes to this shop, for many years, the shop has been in business for almost 25 years. Vic the owner is one of the most knowledgeable bike mechanics around, hes fair, and does an excellent job. Truly an old world master, you cant beat this place for any kind of bike repair, tune-up, or re-build.

Theyve been my LBS for about a year. Its a great shop that will fix what you came in for, and give honest recommendations on what else needs work.

Been going to Victor for over 25 years. The best bike mechanic in town. He back in the day has built multiple sets of wheels for me and also has done fittings for me on each new bike I have gotten. If he cant fix it it can.t be fixed.

You know the owner is knowledgeable, but darn it, if he is not very nice. I went in there to get a quote on a bike tune up and he kind of barked at me. I really didnt go back.

Sad place for a bike shop. Ever since the new owner took place this bike shop has completely changed. I went to have a piece of equipment attached to my bike and the store owner who works there broke a part of my bike without telling me, then charged me for the part and installation. When I realized there had been a piece broken there was nothing I could do.Shame. Sad place for a bike shop.

I like to go to this place because it is near school but i would rather go to Helens Cycles because of the price. They are more on the expensive side of things. Like derailleur cable is $7.00! Wow, go to Performance Bike on Wilshire and get cable for $4.
