Disappointed. Lines take way too long given the small number of customers. Several aesthetic details of the store feel neglected.

Made my wife upset over a simple return. Lady had hard time using computer and was mean. Manager was rude. So she called online and and returned . Zara ended up having to pay shipping back . And a negative review. Dont make life hard.

The price is reasonable and the quality is decent so my wife likes to shop around in here, despite their negligent customer service. Retail stores want to know why they’re going out of business and customer service is one of the reasons in my eyes. What do you need to pay staff for if all they do is gossip behind the counter?

Will NOT be shopping at the Zara franchise again. Cashier forgot to give me a receipt and within 24 hours went back to the store to make an exchange since they don’t allow trying items on in store. One service member was kind, one rolled their eyes. They could only do an exchange with no receipt of the same item which is not what I wanted. The system should be changed as it’s not the customers fault that a receipt was not handed or placed in the bag. A reason to quit fast fashion, especially Zara.This location always has the rudest workers

The lines are like nowhere else. They’ll have a line of 50 ppl stretching across the entire store and still won’t open the cashiers upstairs and down stairs. Holding ppl in line for 40 minutes, especially during a pandemic, is unacceptable. On top of that, the store associates are consistently rude and unhappy. Zara in general isn’t doing great when it comes to its customers, but this specific location is by far the worst I’ve been to.

I honestly can’t stand this store. They are always understaffed at the registers and you will always wait 30 minutes in line with only 2 registers open in the entire store. I politely asked someone on the floor if they had anyone who could help up front and she was very rude and walked away.

It’s understandable that these are unprecedented times but that doesn’t excuse blatantly rude customer service. 3 workers behind the cashier upstairs in the men’s section and when I approached to pay the 3 of them scattered. Two went out back and one was pretending to clean the clothing racks. I stood there and made it obvious I was paying to which I was told to go downstairs and pay. The line was long downstairs with only 2 cashiers while I noticed one other employee moving around the floor when they could’ve been used behind the counter to assist with efficiency. I had to wait 10-15 mins which I don’t mind waiting but the two cashiers had no urgency what so ever when there was clearly a long line. I find it hard to understand that Zara would hire people that don’t know how to communicate but the cashier I got didn’t apologize for the long wait or didn’t even acknowledge that there is a human being in front of them with people waiting. No hello, how are you? Literally the only words that were spoken was the mentioning of the total outcome owed and following guest in line... It’s little things like this that can positively or negatively affect your shopping experience. This was a negative experience so much that it’s got me writing this review! I suggest the Zara managers remind their floor workers that they are in the “customer service industry”. Even in these COVID times, a simple hello, how are you goes a long way.

I usually like Zara but this store is bad. I ordered something online, tried to return it within 30 days after I picked up in store and they would not honor it, they were actually pretty rude all the way through when talking to me about it as well.

This European/ Spanish based clothing shop is located in 3rd street, Santa Monica. It is very specious with three floors and busy most time. However, I feel very difficult to find some trendy clothes to buy, so I usually walk out with empty handed. I realized that the style and taste from Europe, are very different with the modern and casual tastes from the United States. I did purchase some ladys skinny leggings, but I just could not find any modern and trendy clothes as we consider fashionable in the United States. Therefore, I will consider this store as a rather conservative, old fashioned clothing shop and not for every body in the United States.

I’ve been here about 15 times. Every single time the line is EXTREMELY long and they maintain their extra register upstairs closed and typically have two people working max and very very slow.

Rude customer service, he kept saying they were sorry for making us wait in line, when the store was almost empty and there were 4 associates, and i was the only person in line. The same associate asked the customer he was helping if he could serve us while they were looking for an item for her, she said NO and he just waited and make us wait too, instead, he should have asked the client step aside while they are looking for an item for her, and should have taken care of us, as this is the norm in any store. Very unprofessional, This guy was blondish, with glasses. I will not shop from this location any longer.

When I went, the store was in order which is always nice. They had a sale and I found some great buys. Cashier was patient with customers, and the person who helped me on the sales floor was nice. Retail is tough so its impressive to come across a whole staff with good attitudes lol.

Horrendous shopping experience, tried checking out time twice on 2 different days, only 2 people working at the register, after waiting in line for more than 30 mins and not getting any closer to the the cashier, I left. Talked to the store manager - no result. Never coming back to the shop again.

Zero customer service, awful management! This is a tourist area and instead of showing a welcoming atmosphere to visitors in Santa Monica, they ignore them. They are rude to customers, especially when busy, they dont have enough cashier counter open, therefore long checkout lines are formed without anyone caring about the waiting customers. The managers need training for sure!

Usually I dont buy here, but I found a very nice black(my favorite color) blouse.And the best part is they had a big sale.

Not the cleanest store ! fitting rooms were so dusty and full of items that the previous customer had tried on ! employees at the fitting room having personal conversations with people waiting to go into the fitting rooms ! not the best customer service ! no one is on the floor offering help! and long lines at every checkout!

Staff is rude. They talked amongst themselves and refused to make eye contact with me in fact when I looked at a short chubby girl with a top bun she rolled her eyes at me. This location needs help!

Worst Zara ever. I love Zara, wear their clothes all the time but this store lets down the entire brand. Temporary noisy air conditioning units, messy cluttered displays, endless lines for both payments and returns and Lous pumping euro trash music. Awful. Staff are resigned to working in the runt of the otherwise excellent Zara stores. Close it down. Refurb and sort it out!

SO.....because i work right by this Zara, I will usually walk in during my lunch breaks, just to have a look at the new merchandise. First off i love the way this Zara is organized, with the 2nd floor being for men and the overall layout of the product.Sizes so far have never been an issue as they usually carry a size run of all of their collections on the floor.The associates there arent necessarily the most customer service focused people...being that they will not cater to your every shopping whim..but they are very helpful if you have any questions and respond very quickly.Not much else to say (i just wanted to write a review about something LOL)But stop by this store if you are in the area! You wont regret it :)

Decent size Zara in Santa Monica. Up stairs they have the men area. Zara is not cheap, but its worth paying for the quality. Friendly personnel.

Terrible shopping experience. This store is mismanaged and understaffed. Ive walked out 3 times leaving my shopping behind because the cash register line was too long. They refuse to open additional registers even though people are waiting an hour in line. Its a very frustrating shopping experience.

Great selection of clothes at good prices, mens blazers had very good prices last time i visited it, the only downside is that it is somewhat unorganized. Pieces of clothing everywhere especially in the women section. Other than that, great price and great clothing.

This is the LAST TIME I’m buying from Zara! I love this store but I keep having the worst experience everytime I’m going to the store in Santa Monica promenade. And this time was even worse as They are literally thives!!! A week ago I bought some dress from there and I knew I have 30 days to return it. After trying it at home again I didn’t like it and wanted to return, the tags was on and I had the recipt. Few days back my Visa card was stolen. I don’t have to tell you how annoying and upsetting it is when your wallet is been stolen! Now I went to Zara store in Santa Monica promenade, trying to return my dress. When I told them I have a different card she say she’s can only give me store credit ! I explained that I don’t want credit I just want my money back. Legally, if they write in the recipt 30 days to return they should return it! I don’t want to start how the managers there was disrespectful and racists!! They didn’t even care they send me to the customer service with out any help from them. They was so rude! Never again... I DONt WANT YOUT STORE CREDIT especially after this! GET BETTER MANAGERS WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICS!

So at santa monica store i found the same earings with three different prices and i wanted the manager to explain to me how come one is for 22.90 the other is 19.90 and one is for 15.90 the manager Liza said that it’s a mistake although i have to by each one as marked the one with the lowest price was damaged but not on sale so i wanted to make a complain and take a photo to prove i’m right she took the items away with attitude and tell me to call who ever i want and that she won’t give it back to meHonstly shocking attitude from zara store
