First time here. Popular place for locals and I can see why! Great coffee and pastries.

First coffee place to get my name right in a few decades. Im impressed. Coffee is some high quality third wave stuff as you would expect but it tastes interesting and different. The sandwiches are tiny but then Im a fat blob so ah well.Its a very nice place to relax, have a cuppa and chill out. 10/10

Most expensive coffee Ive had in L.A. ($6) . Tasty and the service is quick. Id be back if it was cheaper.

First time here and what a great local coffee shop. I had the iced chai and it was delicious. Great baked goods too. Check it out when your in the neighborhood.

For me this place is a rarity. It really comes off - without being kitchy like I think some coffee shops are. Coffee is dark here but they had a medium roast drip it was good for me

Best coffee in Santa Monica! The staff is very kind and they always treat you like a regular. Their food is also fantastic, and they have great seating in back to enjoy what you picked out. I love Love Coffee!

I went with my friends to this coffee shop. And the first thing that caught our attention, like how the area is so clean, was the atmosphere. And even the scent of the shop is so relaxing. And lastly, the music they play is so very soothing.

Last week, I visited this coffee shop. I was really impressed by the place itself. The calming atmosphere was so good. The barista was so fun to talk to. Im definitely going to visit this location again.

Delicious flavors! I liked the Mexican mocha a lot but all the lattes Ive gotten there have been a little too sweet for me so Ive had to start ordering them all less sweet.

I took my wife here to try out their coffee. It was okay, nothing to special about it. The barista was super nice which is why they get 4 stars but average coffee and nothing to special. They do have a little gift store but it had weird stuff for sale. It was kind of surprising because they claim to be a Love coffee shop which should mean inclusive but it definitely wasnt.

Nice place with good coffee and treats. Good for morning work as designed to fit both lonely visitors with their laptops and companies.

This place can actually make a good cup of coffee. The baristas are kind and good at what they do. Ample seating, good pastry selection and a selection of small gifts.

One of my new favorite cafes! A small, minimal and well curated cafe featuring AMAZING coffee made by fantastic baristas. A small gift shop offers neat cards, books and other local treats. Theres a lovely little patio in back to relax and enjoy the best latte youve ever had. Try the Cubano!

Fun coffee place. The are knowledgeable about coffee and tea. Great ambiance. The owner is really nice. Prices are a little higher than you might expect but it’s understandable given the location.

Cool vibe and very great looking shop.They do not roast but they buy beans from local roasters which is cool.Espresso was good, pour-over was on point but once I had not too good of cup.But this is great place to study as well, plus its like 2 blocks away from SMC

Great coffee. A hidden gem in Santa Monica. Im addicted to The Spice latte there. There’s a back patio/lot in case it gets packed, but i enjoy to be inside either at the communal table or any of the chairs which are both comfortable and nice. It’s very dog friendly. No parking but you can park on Ocean ave for 1 hr and it’s not that hard to get a spot. They sell stuff (coffee related ...and not that much related as well) LOVE this place.

Very clean atmosphere with a great coffee selection. Not a ton of food so dont expect the Starbucks tapas buffet but they have some decent treats. They just focus on amazing coffee and it shows.

Love is one of the best coffee shops in Santa Monica- I live down the street and often pop in for coffee or pastries. Its a really stylish coffee shop and everyone who works there is super friendly and great. One of the best gems in Santa Monica!

This review is only for the coffee.Coffee is pretty awful and cost $3.50 for a cup. Very pretentious vibe but Im sure a lot of people like that. The pretentious vibe might be what tricks people into believing the coffee is good. You can make better coffee at home. But if you want great coffee, go to Philz.

Not the best but solid local coffee house. Cappuccino wasnt bad but a little milk heavy. Cozy space, though the back patio is really just an opening to the parking lot. Accepts KCRW membership discount.

I spend a lot of time here (and I mean quite a lot) getting work done, surfing the web, or just relaxing and enjoying Santa Monica. The owner, Jose, is a really nice guy and remembers most of his customers. As far as arepas go, they are a little pricey, ranging anywhere from about 3-6 dollars each depending on what kind you get. The avocado and mango arepa is delicious and goes along well with a steaming cup of Jasmine green tea

A bit of the typical hipster LA-vibe coffee place, with the overpriceness that comes with it. But the coffee was amazing indeed! As it is the selection of alternative milks and healthy options. They also sell chic candles, yummy stone-ground chocolate and other yummy things!

Great little gem in Santa Monica. I almost dont want to review it because it feels slightly undiscovered here. Love the coffee and the California vibe.

I am giving this a 1 star as it has a 4.6 rating so I was expecting amazing things, it was ok at best, I got an iced coffee, it was fine, nothing special and the decor inside is not great it has a cold feel, tables outside were nice but almost in a car parking lot. Overpriced coffee but I guess if you are into that then its the place to be!

Ok cappuccino, asked for dry, didnt realize they added more milk than foam. Can barely taste the flavor of coffee, expensive for this quality of coffee. Typical LA hip local coffee bar.
