I dont know what I did to annoy the salesperson when I walked into the shop, but it was clearly something. I have shopped here before (not often) and have always felt welcome and appreciated by the staff. This time was so different. Perhaps the salesperson was having a bad day. Perhaps she was too busy to want to make a customer feel comfy in the shop...I dont know. I weas the only one in the shop! I did end up buying some things, but Im now looking for another shop to go to. It makes me sad because this would be my local shop. I guess it just takes one brief encounter to set things off the wrong way.

Your selection is always impeccable.I was very disappointed with the reception and help I received this morning. Granted I may not look like much but my money is as good as anyone elses.You are usually so helpful and make such nice conversation and know your stock that the lack of interest took me by surprise (I was the only person in the store).I dont believe in calling anyone out but you have a good reputation to uphold and felt that I should tell you this.

Teri, Claudia and Jennifer have created a bright, inviting and welcoming atmosphere with a depth of knowledge in all things fiber arts that they eagerly share with customers. The shop has always carried a wide and unique mix of special, sought after and classic yarns and tools. But their attention to customers, especially during this pandemic when knitting has been what keeps me sane, has been especially outstanding. I encourage everyone to checkout their weekly Instagram Live - the warmth, friendliness and expertise of this shop really shines through.

This store is not “unique” enough in addition to having overpriced yarn. But that is not all, the customer service from the owner, Terry, is very unprofessional with a touch of attitude. Hard to believe that the owner can deliver that type of service to her customers. I will be taking my business to Jennifer Kits were they care and are very attentive.

This is my favorite yarn and anything shop. It is open and airy and stocked with just gorgeous things. The people are happy and helpful and will let you just chill there, or will teach you to make that sweater. I wish I could just spend more time there. Stop by and meet Jess, Jennifer, Claudia, & Terry. You will be happier.

Dont know exactly what yarn you want to use or ask about a project? Ive always gotten great help and fun interactions with the salespeople/owners. Some practical yarns but some really gorgeous specialty yarns. Going this pm. Treating myself.

I love wild fiber! I have been going there for years. The staff make you feel welcome and they are so helpful with projects. The owners are super sweet and are very encouraging. The yarns are to die for. They have a great selection. They have many patterns to choose from. I encourage you to make the trip to Santa Monica and visit this great store!!!!

Wildfiber is the best yarn store I have ever been to. As a fairly new knitter, Jessica and Terry are so knowledgeable and have been beyond helpful every time I have stopped in with a question. The yarns are gorgeous and the displays of what you can knit so beautiful. Every time I pop in I find something else I want to make. Love this shop!

Wildfiber is by far the best knitting store in Los Angeles. You wont find a more friendlier staff, variety of product, and amazing classes anywhere. Run don’t walk.

I live in CT but visit Santa Monica frequently. Wildfiber Studio is one of my favorite knitting stores and I have visited many stores across the country. Jessica was so incredibly helpful to me in both picking out patterns and yarn for 2 new projects as well as helping me to fix a problem with a current project. I couldn’t say more good things about her and look forward to starting a new project on my next trip to CA.

One of the best shops I have ever been too.The people were friendly and the person behind the counter treated me like one of the family.Feels like home.I plan to return someday.

The store reopened the summer of 2014 with wonderful new ownership. Ive taken classes which are lots of fun. Wildfiber is a very supportive knitting community. Id recommend checking it out for yourself.

There are new owners now, and I was quite pleased during my last visit. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. Great selection, too. Ill definitely be back.

I like this store friendly atmosphere and carry so many unusual yarns that hard to find some where else in LA or CA, . You can knit there and can ask them anything if u have problems .I will come again and again
