Not the best vegan ice cream Ive ever had, but always happy to see dairy-free options on the menu! The consistency is more icy than creamy. We tried the vegan dark chocolate, caffe luxxe coffee, and yuzu sorbet. The sorbet is great if youre looking for something lighter but still have a sweet tooth. Bonus points for the great location!

Just ok. Disappointing after all the reviews. Maybe I was expecting something richer and more decadent. Vegan coffee flavor good, but a bit icy. The regular Cookies and cream had good amount of cookies, but again tasted on the lighter side, not as creamy as others I’ve had.

Organic ice cream with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The ice cream is hard ice cream, but a soft custard-like texture. They have a few vegan flavors as well and some of the vegan flavors are made without milk--just a combination of flavors, water, and sugar. It still tastes like regular ice cream!

Easily the best carrot cake ice cream Ive ever had. It tasted just like carrot cake. I topped it with some caramel. It complimented it so well.Services was great. The guys working when we came in were super nice, helpful and friendly.The place was clean and pretty slow for a Saturday night. But I didnt mind. It made it easier for us first timers to take our time without feeling like we are holding up a line.Will definitely be back to try more flavors.

Delicious ice creams in classic and modern flavors. their mint chocolate chip is more like a sweet mint with chocolate shavings instead of chunks, so you arent biting into frozen chocolate pieces as much as letting them melt. carrot cake is awesome, with big pieces of real carrot cake and a slight cream cheese tang to the ice cream base. lines out the door til late, and its justified.

Ice cream shops ratings are usually skewed up, but Sweet Rose deserves the 5 stars. They have an inventive mix of flavors--especially sorbets. While some of the flavors are constant, about 1/4 of the menu changes every month and another 1/4 changes every day. The line moves quickly.

If I was in the area, yes I would return. The ice cream is delicious and my favorite would have to be the black sesame. It has that wonderful roasted sesame taste in a creamy base. I cant believe theres no milk in there.The very basic vanilla is even good. Lines are ridiculous on the weekends so I dont know if I would be a serious customer if I saw the line going into the parking lot.

The line was out the door but the wait was only about ten minutes. They have the abstract foodie flavors but also the more traditional flavors for people like me who don’t like goat cheese in their ice cream. I ordered mint chip and didn’t realize they use real mint leaves which I wasn’t a huge fan of at first. However, after the first few bites, the flavor grew on me and I somehow consumed the entire cone before I knew it. (:

For someone who loves ice cream, but is trying to move away from dairy, Sweet Rose Creamery comes to the rescue. Sweet Rose has more non-dairy options than any other local creamery. The horchata was so satisfying and almost could have fooled me for a regular scoop.

This place is by far one of the worst ice cream places out there. I was extremely excited to go, and I got my ice cream. It tasted like spoiled milk. Really disgusting. Definetely do not reccomend for kids, maybe adults but I actually threw up when I got home. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!

This is by far the best ice cream in Los Angeles. I first discovered Sweet Rose Creamery, oddly enough, at the Sunday Santa Monica Farmers Market, where they had a stand.I tried their salted caramel ice cream in a waffle cone, and it blew my mind: you could just taste the uber high quality caramel in the ice cream. For those of you who do not like salted caramel (whoever those few people may be), all of their other flavors that Ive tried have been amazing (especially the horchata, the earl grey, and the mint chocolate).

Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for. This is one of those deals. You could buy the cheap stuff that has air whipped into it to increase volume. This stuff if Haute Couture ice cream. $4 dollars a scoop but with the custom made exotic flavors, you will not suffer buyers remorse. Where else can you get Cherimoya or Candied Kumquat? Seriously, I do not know.

Stopped sunday after a stop at Holy Cow BBQ across the street. Just looking for a good strawberry or chocolate shake. Informed they were out of strawberry so I ordered a chocolate shake. It tasted watered down and not creamy. The flavor tasted like it was simply a shot of hersheys syrup... Ive had far better shakes at my local culvers fast food restaurant. Not worth the $11.00 at all
