This wine shop is incredible! The wine selection was extensive and amazing. On our table, every item was excellent. Its not easy to locate, but once you do, you wont be disappointed. The store as a whole is excellent, and there is little to worry about in terms of its service. I would strongly recommend them to everyone I know.

This wine shop is one of my favorites. They had the most exquisite wine selection. Aside from that, they also had beers and spirits. The shop itself drew me in. The accommodation was really comfortable, and the environment was pleasant. The employees were really competent and knowledgable about the wines. The bottle of wine I purchased here was indeed great. Im certain Ill return to this wine shop.

Chef Andrea and her staff are amazing. The service is impeccable, every staff member is extremely attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I recently joined friends for lunch at Esters and found it to be a super cool spot to meet with friends in Santa Monica. There is a large bar in the center of the restaurant, lots of small tables and a nice outdoor patio. They have one of the largest selections of wines too! We started with a giant charcuterie board. We enjoyed the variety of cheeses paired with freshly carved meats. Then we had some avocado toast, salad and chicken. The chicken was the highlight of our lunch, and when paired with some of the topping from my avocado toast ~ heaven!

Cute little wine shop, bar, and restaurant with a solid wine, beer and cocktail list. I dropped in on happy hour for a glass of wine and wasn’t disappointed.

Excellent assistance. They have a large selection of wines, including some that are very rare. Id say there were some overlooked wines that werent available in a well-known wine store. This wine shop has everything. From the well-known to the underappreciated. Imported wines can be purchased here. Every weekend, there was also a free taste.

Great wine list for bottles....I personally didnt care for most options by the glass, smaller food menu, meat and cheese options and some good veg options - mushroom medley is delicious.Overall, a nice laid back vibe that I enjoyed and will be back again.

Love this place. The outdoor seating is perfect for tht summer and works well since were new to the return of indoor dining. Service is awesome, thanks Jonah. And the cocktail menu is splendid. They make one of the best Aperol Spritz Ive had in a while. And I know my Aperol Spritz pretty well.

I like a wine store, and I love the wines that they sell. The wine was terrific, and the food was delicious. It was hard not to go back because any time we went anywhere else, we find ourselves comparing it to them all the time, and the wine selected by the team is a surprise that I would highly recommend!

Its a good place to start learning about wines and other items from this area. James is a very engaging guy to talk to, and hes very informative about the environment and the items hes selling. We very enjoyed the experience with him and would suggest that everyone in the region take a lesson at this Wine Store.

The first place we go when ever we visit Santa Monica. A really cool and stylish bar which serves a smart list of wines by the glass or bottle, from California and all over the world. Never would I have tried a Lebanese wine except for these guys recommending it. Backed up by friendly and knowledgeable staff and great food for sharing.

Venue is amazing but Id definitely recommend dressing up a bit as the place is more fashionable than most. They offer an variety of different wines as well as some beers on tap, if youre looking to impress someone on a first date or even your 20th date this is probably a good place to go.

This was the “charcuterie board”. Business must be doing badly if the kitchen is putting this out. What a laughable $18 rip off!

Pricey wines by the glass, pricey snackable items, uncomfortable metal stools, small portions, unexciting food. Four of us met before dinner and ended up dropping $150 on just wine and snacks. We bought a bottle of Zinfandel for $30 and opened it there with a $15 corkage. The wine was decent. Avocado toast was very much like something you might whip up at home- I would have let the avocado ripen more.

We had the pleasure of having lunch at this Wine Shop, and the Flatbread was excellent! The patio in the back is very relaxing and peaceful. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable. Amazing to be both! Very convenient for tasting many different kinds of wine. Take a group, and you will enjoy yourself!

A little bit of wine with their Mac&Cheese and thats all youre going to need for a great meal. It was so good that I had to order a second plate since all my friends wanted a bite. Their service was great even though we kinda messed up when we were paying and didnt include the tip. We wouldnt have noticed since the waiter didnt say anything and was super nice to us but we felt we were paying too little. We re-ran the math and included tip. Would definitely dine here again when Im in the area.

Love this place! This place is the best hangout spot any day of the week. Love their cocktails, small plates and they have the best pot de creme ever, I am seriously addicted! Super convenient location, easy to grab drinks there and a bottle (or two) to go. They offer more than just wine so dont let the name fool you.

Favorite wine bar in the city with the best happy hour around. Been coming here for years and still my favorite wine bar in Los Angeles... so much so that had my wedding after party here and my family and friends loved it!

We stopped in this place late one night for a quick drink the bar wasnt quite full and we were able to sit right away. The bartender was very knowledgeable and help us work through the extensive wine menu and had a selecting and tasting some things we had never tried before. The best part? If you fall in love with something you can take home about as the shop boasts many of the bottles that they serve at the bar.

Love this place, a few of us met here for a loooong brunch on a Saturday, great little place with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. No wait to be seated, the service was absolutely fantastic, the menu is unique and trendy with a little something for everyone. I can personally reccomend the Avocado Toast, Belgian Waffle and the Mimosa Trio......the tuna melt looked fantastic too but .......one can only eat so much! I cant say enough about how great the service is here, that alone made for a delightful afternoon, everything else was just a bonus! ♥️

Been here for wine several times and always enjoyed. We ordered food for the first time this visit and would dine here again. Mostly small, comfort food dishes that, of course, pairs well it with wine. Service is also great.

Ok, this is not my type of place. Its a bit to fancy for me. But the service and the Mac and Cheese were good. Yes, I had Mac & Cheese at a wine place, i.e. not my flavor, but if you like the more fancy place, youll be happy.

Its a quaint place to take our kids for lunch, they love the grilled cheese sandwich. I love everything on the menu. And I always buy some Tony Chocolonely slave free chocolate bars on my way out. I havent seen it sold anywhere else except Portland OR.

I went a couple years ago because it looks nice and is very close to me. I remembered that I didnt go back because it was expensive but figured it couldnt have been that bad so I gave it another shot. So I went again and remembered why I hadnt returned to the closest bar to my home. The prices are almost comically high. I stayed anyway and ordered something just to satisfy the curiosity of what you get for all that money. For example, maybe they brought out a bar of gold with each $150 meat and cheese plate lol. Unfortunately they dont. Its one thing for a place to be expensive if you get something for the price but there is absolutely nothing distinguishing about this place to justify the cost at all. You can get the same experience lots of places for half the price. I just hope I remember in a couple years not to give it another shot here.

Key factor- it was not loud. It is quite frustrating these days to go out for drinks and end with laringitis from yelling on top of your lungs just to have some conversation with people that you actually come to see over drinks. So a major plus. I was there during the happy hour, and prices were more then reasonable. I had Madera that was not on the happy hour menu but was just perfect for early afternoon. Settees are comfortable, service is great. Recommend

Was there during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised with with the house white, a delightfully crisp Sauvignon Blanc. The two appetizers we shared were delicious and left me wanting to come back for a full meal. Try the lavender almonds - unique and highly addictive. Will be back next time Im in the area. The staff was also incredibly warm and helpful, a wonderful place to catch up with an old friend.

What a wonderful experience for dinner at this quaint local establishment! We were well attended at the bar seating by our server /Josh who was extremely helpful navigating the menu. We started with a Esters Wine Shop & Bar salad that was extremely fresh and just the right amount of acidity with the lemon dressing and blend of flavors. The Esters Wine Shop & Bar Di Esters Wine Shop & Bar was amazing and unlike anything Ive had in the past. The sauce was hearty, but at the same time rich with flavor and not too heavy. It was a rabbit sugo with thyme and Grana Padano cheese - a perfect entree. It felt like Italian thanksgiving sans the regret ‼For some something simple, but wonderful flavor reminiscent of Tuscany - try the spaghetti Mancini with San Esters Wine Shop & Bar and Esters Wine Shop & Bar cheese. For dessert we shared the tiramisu and a few cordials - see photo. Id definitely recommend this wonderful spot filled with locals and cheer‼

4th visit, the wine list always impresses and the service is always friendly while also refined. They are putting out a high-end vibe without snobbiness.This is a very expensive wine bar, glasses range up to $28/glass but there are plenty of moderate options and I have never been disappointed. Recommended.
