Last night a security guard stabbed a customer right in front of me because he was not wearing a mask. Literally stabbed them for not wearing a mask. Is that what we do now do we just try to kill people? Especially as security guards? It was my mistake thinking they were supposed to keep people safe. Thanks for the experience vons, i won’t stop talking about it for a long time.

Went to their pharmacy (CVS) to get my Moderna booster shot today. Did not have to wait long and staff is friendly. Plus I bought some groceries on my way out. Very convenient!

I had a great shopping experience at Vons. The people are really nice. But I think they have been through lots of store thiefs because lots of the products are locked up. I really hope people are getting free food from pantries so they dont have to take things and products can be not locked up. Call 311( call for free food give aways) besides that its a great store.

We like this grocery store a lot. It is clean and the produce selection is very good. For an urban store its prices are good. If you usually shop at Safeway, you can use your Safeway loyalty card here and get the lower membership prices marked on many items.

I actually enjoyed my shopping experience. The store was clean and well stocked. The aisles were wide and open. The customer service was very good. I will definitely shop there again!

Hated it. Fried chicken was way too salty. Unable to eat. Had to throw it away. Shrimp salad so sour.... no taste... thats a first. I usually get it in stores in Texas where I live, and it doesnt taste this bad... was very disappointed. Luckily I bought several days supply for the length of my stay. So was able to eat fruits and cookies in replacement of all I had to throw away. Im sure they wouldnt have refunded me for it after opening up. So waste of money. I would not go back. Yuck!!!!!

Great $5 Fridays deals. Just make sure that if you look up the ad online that its for a local store.I bought some carmels and they rang up a higher price. I caught it before I left the store and got my money back and a free bag of carmels.Excellent pumpkin pie.

Heads-up: this Vons keeps most of their personal care items (hair products, toothpaste, make-up remover, deodorant, contraceptives, hand sanitizer, soap... basically everything) locked up. So if youre in a rush and hoping to pop in to pick up a few items, it will not be a quick visit since you will need to wait for an employee to unlock the items for you.

Me and my family either had to wear a face mask or buy mask to shop and the other people shopping had no mask and the skinny guy kept following us until we paid for a mask Ive been coming here to Vons for many years I have a phone number Vons club membership I got a huge discount $15.54 cents and the whole chicken hot foods arent buyable with food stamps anymore I come here for olives and ice cream for my granddaughters Vons Ill still be back

Love this grocery store! They have EVERYTHING you would ever need. The only reason i am giving it a 4 stars is because they don’t have any electric car chargers in the parking lot. Come on Vons!!

Semi-high end grocery-- bakery is great. However, prices are competitive with others like Whole Foods and Ralphs.

Its a decent store, theyre moderately helpful.

The staff here are very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about what you are looking for as well as helping you to find it in a expediently way. The vegetables are fresh and a great selection of meat products. Hot food is very good more importantly the prices are very manageable for everyone who shops there.

Months now I have gone to this location for lunch during my break at work. Every single deli worker there is consistently complaining about the other workers, scheduling, the work the have to do, how they have to drive a long way to get to work all the while ignoring people lining up until someone in that line complains about the service. The Stagg there either need replaced, or retraining on customer service. It has become a joke with coworkers on how bad they are.

They were outta the sale items but the biggest problem is the number of self righteous un masked people in the store. The workers refuse to protect the safety of employees and customers. I wont be shopping there again ever. Putting profits before safety is never acceptable. Many bad reviews. I refuse to be intimidated by staff that begrudges me for asking them to enforce public saftey!

VERY STRICT MASK POLICY. If you refuse to wear your mask you’ll be stabbed by the security guard.

This is one of the smaller Vons stores its very clean and even cute and quaint wonderful location with friendly employees and has all the little necessities you need for the beach

Hard to get attention at the deli and they dont always wear gloves. I appreciate the front end workers because they try to keep the line moving and everything socially distant. I would give it another star if it wasnt so grimy at times. But the prices are reasonable. The place just needs a makeover.

Its a Vons! I suppose what makes this one more appealing is that its in Santa Monica and so the customers are... interesting.

I stopped by Vons supermarket to pick up so heros at the deli. This store was very clean in the deli area and I like that because thats what food is prepared and the workers at the supermarket was very nice

Was a bit pricey but the rewards program balanced it out for the most part. Was a bit frustrating to have to ring a doorbell to get lotion and sunblock and watch as the employee who eventually helped us walked passed us at least once while we were waiting.

IF YOURE INTO SHOPPING FOR FOOD THEN YOU MAY LIKE THIS PLACE..BUT BEWARE...DONT BRING YOURE DOG TO THE VONS IN SANTA MONICA ON BROADWAY..Because theres a manager there I think hes the store manager that will run up to you and question you on what disabilities you have as if hes border patrol and then chase you out..Ive been to many Vons,Ralphs, Targets,Whole Foods,Costcos ..etc and have never had anybody question me on my disabilities or chased out when I brought my dog..I try to avoid this vons and I shop at Ralphs instead bcuz theyve always been cool to me..THAT STORE MANAGER COULD BE THE REASON WHY YOU DONT SEE ALOT OF SHOPPERS THERE..

Very nice grocery store with helpful people working there. Bakery has a good selection. Meat quality and price sometimes is better than Costco and Sams club.

Wonderful grocery store with reasonable prices friendly employees clean and tidy

You wont have to wait in long lines at the cash register. It gives you a good feeling to be in this place because all you see inside is so good and well-stocked.

I dislike Vons in general. Its very annoying that entire section of personal care items are locked up. I could never get an associate to open them. Long lines with few registers open.

The Meat Dept Mgr is very knowledgeable... phenomenal experience.

The staff is always helpful and curtious, plus they adhere to stringent Covid safety measures

So often, they treat me like Im not supposed to be there, and theyre right. I should be at Ralphs; however, its in Venice and Im only a few blocks from here. Everything at this Vons is 10 or 20 cents more than their other locations on account its Santa Monica. My favorite is how they station the security guard in front of the pastry case, and somehow he has a problem with you wanting to get a donut. And yes, I have to say excuse me. This place just genuinely sucks.

Its a Safeway but the name is easier to type

Easy parking, and near home which I enjoy. Nothing really special about this location aside from it being a grocery store conveniently near home for me. The staff here is pretty friendly as well, a bit better than what Ive experienced at other locations in SoCal. Overall its a good store with all the basics, thats pretty much it.

Super clean store. Very caring staff. Public parking not authorized. There is a public lot 1/2 block up Broadway that charges $5 for an entire weekend day. We parked there and walked to the green space on Ocean.

Site was very busy and had only one person checking everyone out.

The self-check out staff was so busy watching me, to see if I were going to shoplift, even after I flashed cash and a debit card, because I knew she was watching me, that an actual shoplifter slipped by her. The cashier went running out of the store after her, but of course the shoplifter got away.

The layout of the store sucks and their meat is often hit or miss. Not a large store so they often dont have what i am looking for compared to their other stores

Barnes is a little expensive but they got good customer service quality products

Vons is a Great place to shop . With a mix of afordable food, heath food, and fine or higher end foods. Plenty of staff, and cordial helpers.

I like this Vons on Lincoln & Broadway, very large and can ways find what I need, I like there flower area.

Im pretty happy with VONS in Santa Monica right now... Mostly due to a cashier, who took the time to help me to get a discount through their rather buggy Just For You smartphone app.

Usually has everything I need, but super bowl weekend wiped out all the nacho ingredients. The staff though were very helpful.

Amazing food

Always pleasant folk working there.

The produce is consistently bad. Ive bought moldy blueberries and rotten containers of lettuce here enough times to be embarrassed and ashamed of myself. Some employees are nice but many employees have bad attitudes, probably because of management.

Vons was well organized and clean and most people were following directions, except one couple going the wrong way on one aisle. Was well stocked and I found everything I went for....Staff very courteous and knowledgePleasant experience!!!

Some of the workers are sullen, but I cant imagine this is the job of a lifetime. The selection is limited, but lets face it: youre not coming here for a gourmet fix. Vons has its place and that place is consistent mediocrity. It delivers in that respect and doesnt pretend to be anything more. A solid 3.

The store director is a stiff. Very big control freak. The assistant director Kim is much better. Shop here after 12 for the best experience.

An employee wasnt feeling well. He still went to work for four days. He tested positive for covid 19 and still returned to work again. Knowing he was sick. The manager didnt make him go home. The store was not shut down for any cleaning or anything. The manager was not concerned and did not notify other employees that they may have been exposed. Stay away from this place. Especially the deli.

I shop here literally every single day, and over the last month or so, I have noticed staff has been very rude. I dont mind if they want to ignore me, but when I smile or wave or say hello and they just growl or ignore me, I find it rude. Today was about the fourth time this week I have left very irritated because of being treated rudely. I know management doesnt care, and me posting this wont change anything, but I just needed to vent!

Generally a good store. Of course stock is low right now. Especially paper goods, cleaning supplies and some food items. But this one is better than the one on Wilshire. Cleaner, nicer and better stocked.

My local grocery store. All of the employees are extra friendly, and the checkout lanes arent very busy. There are always homeless people outside, but it is not at fault of the store. They have security at the doors and in the parking lot. Overall, its a quick in and out.

Store is getting a lot better, security officers at the exit then throughout the store to keep an eye on the homeless. Thor is well-stocked and employees are helpful. Free parking also.
