Do not go here unless absolutely needed. While I was out of town my wifes car had battery issues. Like most, she is busy with work and kids. She got her suburban towed there and they charged her $326 for a battery replacement. Unless they are completely incompetent it should have taken 10 minutes so Im guessing they are taking advantage of people when they can. $28 to inspect battery and $100 in labor. Stay away from this shop.

I have been using Horsman 40 years. I recommend them everytime someone asks me if I know a trustworthy automotive shop. Their work is top of the line. They are honest and stand behind there work. I never would consider taking any of my vehicles anywhere else.

I have taken a few vehicles to Horsman. I have always received prompt service and no issues with any of the work that has been done.

Just bought a car from a person that took the car there to get a mass airflow sensor they charge them $400 and it was a 24000 mile warranty but since I bought the car they said they couldnt help me even though there was only 400 miles put on the car since the repair. Isnt that crazy that I have to pay for the same repair somewhere else because they didnt do their job right? And now theyre saying the warranty is no good even though I have it in writing? Dont go there because theyre just going to say they cant help you even though the part was on warranty for another 23600 MI. Beware! Any other shop with just cover the part because of honesty. So I guess Im going to take my car to Integrity Auto Ive never had any problems there and redo the job that horsman Automotive couldnt do right

BAD ATTITUDE ... MECHANIC IS A THIRD RATE HACK ...THE TRY TO IMPRESS CLIENTS WITH LITTLE MODEL CLASSIC CARS THAT SIT ON THE FRONT COUNTER ...WOW, NOT IMPRESSED ! NOT WORTH $ 96.00 AN HOUR LABOR . MY FORD F 150 HAD A FRONT DIRECTIONAL LIGHT BULB SOCKET FALL OUT...HE COULDNT EVEN POP IT BACK IN ...GUESS IT WAS MY PROBLEM..LASTLY...THEY MADE ME MAKE AN APPT. TWO WEEKS OUT ...NEVER AGAIN...MY ADVICE...LOOK ELSEWHERE ...ENDED UP AT WEST AUTO MIRIMAR...TOOK MY F-150 IN... THAT DAY.! ..NO MODEL CARS ON FRONT COUNTER ... HORSEMANS...TYPICAL EAST COUNTY COUNTRY BOY HICKS ...

They are friendly, but way too pricey!

Brought the fiancees Toyota in for a smog. Fiancee has lupus and they were very helpful in making sure we had the closest thing to contact free emissions due to their caring for the customer.There is no way to complete the emissions without contact but they made sure every precaution was taken as well as leaving truck in secure area for couple days after work was completed and they also handed us a wiped down key and paper work outside after paying by phone.Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.

My car is a salvage title and Horsman Auto is one of the few facilities in east county that perform light and break certification.They were courteous and quick. Our appointment was for 9am and they finished by 10:15. They have a comfortable waiting area but instead of waiting we went to breakfast at the omelet house down the street.I would give this 5 stars but the price was a bit expensive.

Experienced, friendly and honest!

I called them about a problem with my truck and they were not very helpful due to company rules and regulations. I do understand that they still need to make money.

I took my motor home in due to a horrible shake in the front end by the motor. They put new plugs and coil packs on my ford v-10 took all the shake away and it runs as smooth as can be. They fixed it very fast and were up front honest and direct. Thank you I appreciate the job well done. I will be back

We love taking our cars to Billy and Pete. They are kind, and trustworthy. Recently, we were back in SD for vacation and had some car trouble. They fit us in to make sure we were able to get home. I wish I could take them with us to AZ!

Expensive. Maybe most repair shops in San Diego are. I should have shopped around. Quick turnaround and clean shop

What fantastic service. Got there about 10:30. Was worrying that I wouldnt get home in time to watch the NASCAR race at noon. They changed my battery in record time. It was faster than a NASCAR pit stop.

Honest techs. They look at your vehicle and diagnose problems and give you an honest assessment and complete estimate for repairs.

They always be fair and honest. We have been using them for years and never had an issue.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner should be ashamed of himself! We took my husbands truck in for repair and paid almost $2,000 for a new back end. We get the truck home it’s in worse shape than when it was dropped off. My husband took a look and THEY NEVER PUT THE BOLTS BACK ON THE REAR CALIPERS!!! This was completely careless and unsafe for them to send us home in this vehicle. My husband called to discuss the issue and they offered to do his brakes for free to make up for it. We called today to make the appointment and now the owner refuses to do the brakes for free as previously promised for their negligence. DO NOT bring your vehicle here. They could care less about the quality of work they perform and even less about the safety of their customers.
