I needed an alignment for my pickup. There was only the manager there no employees too do the work. I went to Pep Boys on Beeridge Rd got it done immediately on a Friday afternoon two hours before closing. The also put two new tires on also!

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip in August of 2020. Road trip from hell cause when we pulled into Sarasota FL our front tire went flat. This was in the evenings and no auto repair shops were open. We contacted the Good Year store and they said to bring it in the next morning. Went in the next day and they got us right in. Found out we had two bad tires instead of one. They had to call another store to get a second tire but it would not be there until next day. Came in the next day and they got right to it. We asked if they could put a light bulb in so guy behind counter came out but couldn’t get it so a technician came out and it took him like a half hour to get it in.These guys were so pricey and kind! I would trust them in a heart beat! Thank you fellas!!!!

Had a pleasant experience getting my tires replaced, they found discounted tires for me to better fit my price range, and have them fixed in no time at all. Even though my Lugnuts were rusted pretty badly. Would definitely recommend, for good clean service.

Even with Supply Chain issues, they pulled in my specific tire and replaced in 24 hours!These are hard working guys... Even the Manager is working the garage floor to keep jobs moving.

I took my car monday 3/1/21 to check for clunking noises when going over bumps under my car. They checked it and saw that the sway bar bushings were bad, rack & pinion was leaking (which controls my steering), lower control arms were bad, lower ball joints were bad also, wheel alignment was off. I let them know i was going on a trip they checked all of my fluids to make sure i was safe along the road. On 3/3/21 i took my car in to let them fix the parts diagnosed as bad. On 3/4/21 my car was done. They did an amazing job! The front end no longer makes those loud clunking noises !. The car rides far more smoother then before. I paid $2,718 total it was well worth it!

After unsuccessful attempts to fix one of my tires I went to Good Year. The other places wanted to sell me a new tire instead of repairing it. The gentleman at Good Year was very helpful and courteous. He was able to patch the tire. My experience at this Good Year was exceptional.

Went with a leak in one of my tires. Unfortunately, tire couldnt be fixed(screw in sidewall). I decided to have 2 tires changed and to keep the good front tire for a new spare. From arrival to departure, 1 hour 15 minutes. Great staff all around. Would definately recommend.

Bob & the team are great! I was recommended to this Goodyear by a coworker and will definitely be back. I found a screw in one of my tires, gave the shop a call and was told to come in whenever was convenient for me and they would get it taken care of. I dropped my car off shortly after and they located the problem and removed the screw with in 30 minutes. Thank you for your great customer service!

I brought in my car on its spare after I had a nail in the tire. The guys here were able to patch the tire fast. In the process they also found a screw in one of the front tires and they patched that as well. They got both tires back on and the spare back under the car in 30 mins flat, no charge. You better believe I will bring my car here as soon as I need more work done.

I drove up with a slow leak that was diagnosed as a nail. The manager said that they could not repair it due to the location and ask if I road hazard insurance. After finding out that I did have insurance to cover it, they filled my tire and offered to fill it again before I went home. I just found this to be good old fashioned customer service and good will. They could have tried to sell me a new tire but they chose to help me in spite of the outcome. Thank you for your honesty and integrity Bob.

Avoid this location! My elderly sister had taken her 2015 Hyundai vehicle in for an oil change, but work was competed on the vehicle that was not authorized and she was deceived by sales staff. Vehicle had 26,000 miles on the odometer at the time of service.Issues:1) Without prior authorization, Valvoline™ MaxLife™ Synthetic Blend Motor Oil was added to vehicle. This oil designed for vehicles with over 75,000 miles. Charged $39.50 for 5 quarts. Actual cost for 5 quarts $17.97. Wrong oil, and she was overcharged $21.53.2) Without prior authorization, expensive premium ceramic front brake pads were installed.3) Unnecessary brake fluid exchange service. Hyundai Motor America recommended maintenance schedule states Brake Fluid should be inspected at 30,000 miles - not replaced.4) Without prior authorization, my sister was enrolled into a $169.99 3-year Alignment Program.5) Overcharged for air filer. The cost for a premium Fram air filter for the Hyundai is $6.44. My sister was charged $24.79.This Goodyear Auto Service Center preys on women and the elderly by overcharging them for services, performing services without prior authorization, and needlessly installing expensive premium parts.

I just want to take a minute to thank Bob, Todd and Matt for stepping up and really helping me out the last week or so. I did not have a pleasant experience with a Goodyear in Orlando and was extremely hesitant on bringing my car back to another Goodyear. They stepped up and helped make the wrongs right and it really goes a long way in my book. I recommend this Goodyear store to anyone in the Bradenton-Sarasota area!Thank you again!

This Goodyear off of Lemon Avenue attempted to scam me. I took my car there for a brake check and they called me stating that I needed new parts. I agreed and paid 300 for these said parts. In less than a week, the car was working worse than I brought it into them and when I took it back to the shop. They insisted I needed $1000.00 worth of repairs done on the same brakes they fixed a week ago. I took my car to the mechanic who found no problem with m car other than them not doing their job correctly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

I have been going to this shop for about 4 years now. The place is under new management and the difference is night and day. I had problems with the old management same as the earlier reviewers but the New manager Matt stands behind his work and I enjoy going here again and trust them. They do good work and are fair. Props to Matt for turning this place around.

I was here last August, Im from out of town so I wanted to go to a large companys shop for an oil change...I made an appointment and it took them an hour to do an oil change and inspection which was fine considering they have a seating area.But they tried to upsell me on new brakes and all of that, I politely said no.After a couple of months I went for another oil change and guess what? They took my air filter off and never put it back on..I filed a complaint and Matt (Im assuming the store manager) was polite and said hed be happy to pay me for the air filter... and they did.At least theyre willing to take care of their customers.

Buyer beware, I went in for an oil change and was told I needed replace a battery that was less than 1 year old. I had the battery tested by AutoZone, where I was informed the battery is in very good shape. They claim to do a thorough diagnostic of the car, yet totally missed obvious issues..,..stay away

So I went to get my oil changed tonight and I get asked how can we help you. I said well I need a oil change and right away Im told well that takes 45 minutes. And Im like ok and the guy said can I set up a appointment for you and I said well I am here cause I have a busy schedule and really need to get it done tonight but they completely ignored me and kept saying well can I set up a appointment for you. Im very agitated and annoyed with the poor service because I have a coupon and theyre were 2 guys standing round doing nothing but chatting in the waiting room and they just didnt want to work. I have been in the car business my whole life and I have stayed later to help someone out. But I even showed up 30 minutes before closing and get shot down because of just laziness and I hope this business learns better customer service cause this was bullshit and I am very agitated with them wasting my time and gas to try and give them business. But now yall lost business and are getting a poor review. Take this as a learning experience and treat your customers better and actually work instead of chatting and refusing a customer.

My daughters tire indicator light was on, called them, they said bring it on over, they topped off all her tires right away, great service!

So I saw a lot of negative feedback on this place and decided to put in my 2 cents. I have never had one issue with the guys at goodyear. I frequently drive from Naples to Sarasota just to go see them. My family has been bringing our cars there since before I could drive 6 years ago. Before then we were bringing 4 cars there for all of their servicing needs. Now since we have other new drivers, we have 8 cars from 3 separate households going there. The fact that I commute for their service tells you they are indeed a good shop.I saw people complaining about the fact they were told they needed new breaks etc. This is because when they do the diagnostic on the vehicle they have a checklist of things they are required by corporate to inform you of based on the mileage of your vehicle aside from obvious things like tire tread etc. Just for all of the people that claim they up-sell you.-George

Used to be good, over the past year they have broken my splash guard twice only replacing it the first time. The second time they broke both halves of the splash guard and the mounting harness. I had a replacement front drive axel (left and right) installed and 2 days after installing it they fell apart. They had to replace it again, claiming it was the aftermarket parts they use but they were able to get it together this time. A year later and now out of warranty it fell apart again. Luckily I wasnt in traffic at the time. This shotty work is going to kill somebody!! They also put the wrong atf in my transmission, even after I told them maxlife is not compatible (thats even according to Mazda). Now I am not getting any help or refund from them or Goodyear corporate. Screw this place! Stay away!!

About a year ago, I came to this shop with the issue of needing new valve cover gaskets, from a previous stores screwup. They charged me about $300 for this service, then sent me on my way. After taking my car to another mechanic for an unrelated issue, he said that my valve cover gasket was faulty again. When i told him i had just paid to have it replaced a year ago, he seemed doubtful that Goodyear had replaced it, or done it correctly. When i tried calling Goodyear to see if theyd fix it, the manager here was very rude. He told me they were still under warranty, but that he wasnt sure if the warranty would cover it. After how they screwed it up last time, Im taking my car to another goodyear to get warranty work done, then never going anywhere else besides Burkes Transmission.
