My temptation was to just post it with the 5 stars rather than take the time to re-key everything. Such a wasted effort and a disservice to ADT and Ramon. Now I know why our own business gets 5 star reviews with no comment. Google with all its great technology cant provide this this simple courtesy?
Adt sold us alarm system with a camera, which we bought. After problems with camera, they sent service, who siliconed the camera as attemt to fix. After that still not working. Now, we’re being told our internet too slow?? After all this time, and camera purchase…all our smart tv’s, alexa,computers.. all work fine. So needless to say, this disabled vet is very disappointed in ADT
On Sunday night I got home and found out that my ADT cameras were not working properly the technician online was able to help me out very professional and I had a service man Monday morning who arrive promptly and he solve the issues ADt is a great great company and stands behind their product
They were good and I felt secure UNTIL you go to MOVE the service to a NEW HOME! Then WAM they do NOT honor the current pricing of Contract and when you cancel due to that they hit you with Termination Fees!!! I have been Loyal Customer for Almost 15 years!!!!!!!!! We had security cameras and alarms installed. What an amazing system. The technician, Scott, was so helpful and patient helping my husband and myself learn the system and get set up on our phones and computers. I feel he went above and beyond to help us. It was a great experience and so helpful to be able to use the set up with ease.

We recently had our ADT system completely updated in a house we purchased in Lakewood Ranch. The technician, Matt Wooten, did an outstanding job to ensure that all of our system components were fully updated and in working order. He explained the system in detail and made certain that we fully understood the work he had done. Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in his work, keeping everything neat and orderly. We are very pleased with the updated system and have been very happy with the excellent service we always have had with ADT.
ADT made an appointment that worked with our schedule to have new doorbell installed. Matt installed our service 2 1/2 years ago and was very patent in showing us how our security system worked. Matt was the one who came out to install the new doorbell. It was nice to have the same tech who we liked come out. Thank you Matt and ADT!!
I was so impressed with technician/installer, Mike. He was professional from the minute I opened my door. He took time to explain options that I did not realize I had when I made appointment by phone with sales office - what system would be best for me - touch pad, keys, etc. It was obvious he knew his product and how to explain it.Decided on touch pad and he was excellent in his tutorial. He was friendly, easy to talk to - just a pleasure!

Yesterday I had a wonderful gentleman from ADT provide me with excellent and efficient service! David Johnston came to my location just for a quote but with his wonderful peoples skills and his drive to make sure I felt safe we ended up signing up for the service in the same day! He even came back to my location to personally set me up with a new account! I would say he went above and beyond! I highly recommend using ADT for not only the quality of great protection but also for the people!Also, Robert Jurema was the gentleman who put my system together who was just as wonderful as the first! He helped me figure out where to place the system and was very detailed on what works best for me. I would say he also went above and beyond to ensure my safety! The reason for my bad review is towards the service visit before last.The over all ADT experience has been nothing but a nightmare. A huge disappointment. The only good experience is the sales Rep Chad and the very first technician. Since than your product quality is bad, like the cheapest in the market. Your call center and phone Rep are hard to understand and not efficient, your last technician did not finish his job the first day, you guys did not even communicate that I will be left without surveillance for over a week. He just stopped half way through because he was hot. I understand that, a bit at least, as the first tech powered through like a champ with so much care. But to finish without offering a second backup person or a next day appointment is unacceptable. I cancels a job just so I could be home. And than letting me wait a week although we really needed the videos?!?! What a bad company!!!!! First he tried to talk me out of my choice installing hard wired cameras, than he stopped half way through and I was without cameras for a week. Absolutely a no go. I am beyond upset and disappointed. Such poor quality in service and product and delivery and in problem solving. If I would not be pressured for time, I would had left!!!! I could go on and on but there is no point. I feel bad for the tech guy that did not finish this job efficiently and on promised time as ADT failed to give him the proper support or mindset. He seems a nice guy but this is a matter of corporate level failure.
I could not be happier with Ian Howlett and the service that he provided. We had an unusual problem with our system and he knew just how to fix it. I have always said buying something is one thing but having great service makes you happy you did.

Exceptional customer service for an outstanding product. Pati Beardsley was our first contact with an ADT representative and her knowledge of the system and its benefits was exceptional. I had issues with three entry points which my previous security provider ignored. In less than ten minutes she showed me the problem and noted it for the installation team. The next day she followed up to ensure all was ok and if I had any further questions. She deserves employee of the year consideration. Pedro Dehoyos was equally impressive. His approach to installation was amazing. He took his time and ensured everything was exactly the way it was intended. All three entry points were fixed in a short period of time and he was very patient in showing me the new ADT system. Both individuals deserve a thank you.

ADT called me telling me I had an issue with the radio in the panel. The tech, Enrique showed up on time was very friendly and professional. Replaced what was needed and thoroughly checked my system in a timely manner. Very satisfied.

Just had new smoke detectors installed. Enrique did a great job, checking our system and replacing the main battery which was last changed many years back. He was helpful and courteous.
We have been an adt customer for years and truthfully never could say anything negative as there was never anything that happened to really test how well our system of the service worked. A few weeks ago our alarm was set off in the middle of the night and while adt is supposed to call and make sure everything was ok- they called and left a message not speaking with any of us. And the alarm was just shut off (on their end) and nothing was done. When I called the next day to find out why their protocol was not put in place I was told they called both phones and finally called and got ahold of me but didn’t get the clear- which was a complete lie. I no longer have trust in this company or for them to provide peace of mind of protection for my family. So highly disappointed.

Robert Miller came to our home on Friday, 4/24, to install an ADT home security system that I had ordered at the beginning of last week. We had previously had an ADT home system in our home in Chicago for several years and were convinced they offered the best solution for us.Robert called in advance to let us know when he would arrive and was right on time. My wife and I were very impressed with his overall knowledge and professional approach to explaining and installing the components of the system we selected. Once everything was installed and tested he walked us through the operation of the system, how to download and set up the mobile app, and how to navigate and set up the ADT web site. There are many features to make the system we bought very complete and competitively priced. Everything went very smoothly.Finally, Robert Miller represented ADT as a trusted employee and maintained several Covid 19 guidelines while he was at our home (mask, gloves, social distancing, shoe coverings). He was very helpful and friendly.I must say, however, there was a disconnect between what I had ordered with the salesperson and what Robert was here to install. He made the necessary adjustments and basically there was an increase in the monthly charge of $8.00, which we were ok with.We are looking forward to the system providing the security that we believe is needed in our home.

I have had a great experience with ADT so far. The salesman who came out explained everything line by line. The installer was an absolute pro. He had ideas for camera placement and such. He was also very patient helping me set up the app and showing all the settings including helping me set the system up to work with Alexa.

ADT is one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. After cancelling my account years ago because of the many problems I encountered with their system and poor customer service, I continued to have problems with the beeping of a smoke detector on my cathedral ceiling, even after the entire system was shut down and the power source was disconnected. I have encountered that same problem today and was told once again that it could not be a detector installed by ADT since the system had been shut down. As before I told the customer service rep that I have pictures of that part of my cathedral ceiling before and after the ADT activation of my system in 2010 that proves it was the detector they installed. I have now gone back to the original paperwork I received from the technician at that time and discovered, after climbing an 8-foot ladder to reach my ceiling, that I was charged $199 for the installation of a battery-powered detector, not one hardwired to the system hence their denial that it is their device. Seems like I just cant get away from the incompetence of this company.

Selling my home so called ADT, was told ive been such a good customer for blah blah blah that I qualify for special new rate in new home....Not so special I guess, told thembi didnt need their service then a as advised they needed 30 days to process and would bill me for ankther 30 days even tho i wont be jere. Thats ridiculous. You flip a switch ADT and the account stops!!
I just called your company to ask about my bill, because I keep getting emails that I am past due, I got the most unbelievably rude person I have ever talked to in my life, his name is Alexander, he argued with me about everything, I am not getting my bills in the mail, and he argued that I was, when I told him how rude he was he argued about that too. This is totally unacceptable to treat customers the way I was just treated. I will be searching for a new alarm company.

Our tech, Patrick Gendreau is exceptional. He seems to be the only person at ADT (other than Curtis Shaw) who knows what they’re doing. I was close to canceling due to your incompetent people who answer the phone and IM with. Very clear although we have a maintenance plan that last thing you all want to do is send our a tech. Ridiculous!! Patrick said we could have called a 100 times and it would not have worked. He had to replace the Gateway. You should promote Patrick and put him in charge. He takes ownership and knows what he’s doing. He has excellent people skills with his completely opposite your phone reps. Overall ADT sucks. Thank your lucky stars you have Patrick (and Curtis).- Brad L
Miserable company to work with. Poor communication if and when you get them to communicate. Address problems poorly. Website sign in never works and they don’t care.When you do talk to someone no one can help. Equipment periodically reports problems that don’t exist. Been with them since July. Should have shopped around.

NEVER do business with ADT! My salesman sold me a 3 year contract without telling me about the 3 year part. The salesman was in my store, new it was brand new and new I was NOT looking for a long term deal. He told me the monthly charge that I could afford but left out the 3 year part. I would have NEVER signed it had I known. Then after I cancelled my account ADT pulled 90% of the whole value out of my account without even telling me! Boom one day 900 comes out! I almost went out of business due to ADT! Terrible business practices that led to this! Shame on you ADT!
Worst customer service EVER!! When I closed my business, the new business that moved in took over my contract but ADT continued to send me past due notices for the full amount of my contract. I called NUMEROUS times to explain and they kept reassuring me that once it was installed, they would clear my balance. I stopped getting the notices after the date of the install for the new business so I assumed the balance was clear. Two months later I received a notice from an attorney’s office that my balance had been sent for collection!! There I was, on ANOTHER hour-long phone call, with multiple representatives, explaining and re-explaining my situation to people who do not care at all and make zero effort to make things right. I will NEVER use ADT again and encourage everyone to seek home security elsewhere. The customer service is HORRIBLE and all they care about is getting you into a stupid contract they have no intention of letting you cancel. Even when you play by their rules.

Menachim forgot to wire 3 of our doors. You could walk right in and out of them without the alarm going off. He also forgot to leave us our key fob/ panic button or any yard signs or window stickers. ADT subcontracts the installation and ADT does the monitoring. The installation company did not send someone right out to fix their error. It was hard scheduling the wiring of the 3 doors because we wanted to do it before the 3 day rejection period was over. I had to go online to order my signs and window stickers. I can only have two of each until another year goes by. They are supposed to come in a couple of days with the key fob/panic button. Once the system was hooked up and I tested it,, it seemed to work well and the real ADT was very nice and helpful when I called them. But the installer that the installation company sent to us was pretty dismal. And the installation company was not great either. UPDATE. I called them to tell them that they forgot to leave a remote panic button/key fob. Menachim came again with his supervisor and walked right past the front yard that has no sign on it. FINALLY, after, I brought it up, he put one sign in. No stickers for the windows, just one sign. This on the 4th trip. And let me tell you about the 4th trip. They told me they were coming to give me a remote key fob/panic button, so I left work, came home, met them, and he said I cant have one because it wasnt in our deal. Fine, but why schedule a meeting on the phone to come and tell me that? Why not tell me on the phone? When I asked him that question he complained to me that he had to drive all the way from another town nearby, North Port. ALL THE MORE REASON TO TELL ME ON THE PHONE! I hate these guys. Dont use them. Update. We still havent gotten our second sign or the window stickers.

I love my ADT system!!! I had someone try to break into my place and was terrified. Now I feel so calm knowing I have a security system tracking motion and with master code. Jessica Kress came to my apartment and was wonderful in setting up the appt for installation and explaining it to me. Highly recommend. I feel so safe now😊

Fun Story, I recently moved into a house with an ADT system that had been previously installed. Out came a salesman. I have never heard anything good about ADT (high pressure, contracts, poor customer service). Anyway I said nope and he got red in the face and grabbed a yard sign right by my front door and stormed off and when I said you cant just steal stuff off a persons property he said maybe if you had been nicer and then he called me a F----ing A--Hole. And that is the honest truth. I got so mad I took a picture of him and his car to commemorate the moment and have a little proof. He said its our property and I asked if he was going to break into my house and steal all the window stickers and rip the equipment out of the wall. BTW there are holes drilled all over this house and I am going to have to hire a drywall contractor to patch all of the holes from this octopus of an alarm system. To sum it all up ADT lived way down past my expectations and I am soooooooooo glad i did not take the bait and buy into that mess. If you do business with them good luck but what ever you do dont make them mad they seem to have no problem letting you know what they think you are.
