Horrrrrrrible!!! Don’t go!!! My wife and I came up from Miami and all she wanted to do was wash, blow dry and brush. I called and asked for someone who could speak some Spanish. They mentioned someone named Sofia (not sure on spelling) and that she knew “some” Spanish. Yea, she had no idea of any Spanish. Regardless, I translated and everything seemed fine. I was gone for 10 minutes and my wife is texting me how bad Sofia was messing her hair up. My wife had told her several times to wash with cold water and she kept using hot water. Sofia left the conditioner in her hair and my wife said it felt “dirty.” When she was blow drying, she was burning her hair because she didn’t have the proper cover piece on it. I don’t know much about hair but I never heard so much because everywhere my wife had gone had been great. It sounds like it was a train wreck. I mean they had 4 employees just sitting there and no clients. They even wanted to charge full price. I paid half, although I didn’t want to pay anything for that and I shouldn’t, but I felt bad that this was probably her only money for the day. My wife is always beautiful but I agree that her head smelled like sweat after the gym instead of coming out of a salon. We were supposed to take her photo ID pics after that appointment but we had to cancel that appointment after this train wreck.

I will not return to this place. Not clean. Dust and hair everywhere. New faces all the time. There is a reason the stylists don’t stay for very long. The manager is very rude. The stylists tell you all about how awful the owner is. So unprofessional. Haircut was awful. One stylist was fired after receiving her covid shot. This is what is wrong in the world.

We continuously come here to get all of our families hairstyles done. My daughter just had her hair colored by Rachel and it came stunningly! Nice people, clean place, highly recommended.

Terrible Terrible haircut . Should of known better to continue on after the hair washing. The girl barley touched my hair she mainly rubbed the top of my head . Haircut was Terrible she might of trimmed my hair I said fine because I didnt want her to do anymore I wanted bangs and she definitely didnt know what I was talking about so I said nevermind I will outgrow them im so unhappy with my hair but its 35 dollars so I need to wait to find another place to fix it. I do not recommend this place at all

Went to bring my to young to wear masks child to get a hair cut and a very rude worker refused us service bc he was to young to wear a mask. When I made the appointment they previous day I mentioned his age and there was no mention of forced mask wearing for the underage child. The worker pointed to the sign on the door stating everyone had to wear a mask and it stated under three years of age when I stated my child was under three she still refused me service. She literally did the bye Felicia sassy bye

Tried to go in to get a haircut at 5:15 PM, hours listed says they close at 6. Got told they were already closed for the evening and asked if I would like to make an appointment. I told them no. Dont post 6 oclock as your closing time and then close before. Change the hours on the website and door. Will not ever walk into this place again.

Only went here because I saw Some wonderful reviews. Walked out with orange chunky highlights and a bunch of money down the drain. The only good thing was they offered to fix it but I do Not trust going back. Now I have to spend even more money to get it fixed. I do NOT recommend.

I really dislike having to leave a negative review, but this place is really unsanitary. They absolutely do not follow the state’s protocols for enhanced cleaning and disinfecting during COVID-19, nor do the stylists follow the state law for cosmetology for cleaning and sanitation on a usual basis. In general they could care less and they will point blank tell you they do not get any support from the owner Dan, who is an absentee owner. Still, being in the profession of cosmetology is a licensed profession, with a set of laws that dictate their profession. It’s up to each stylist to know the laws and do the right thing. There is no excuse.Regardless of whichever stylist you see, this is what you can expect:- Decent hair cut or color for the price, if you are willing to put up with the following...- Stylists do not clean and disinfect stations or chairs as they are required to do between clients. Their stations have have thick visible dust and debris. You can tell the build up is from a period of non-cleaning- Stylists will reuse capes and try to fool you into thinking they are clean by flipping it inside out. Even the flip side is dirty.- They will use a non disinfected brush on your hair, and you can see the hair on/in the brush from other clients- If you are getting a blow out and a round brush is used, stylist will 100% pull out a dirty round brush from their drawer and use it on you. I’ve seen this multiple times and they just put the round brush back in drawer as soon as they are finished with my hair. Often the brush has hair on it from others. It just makes my stomach churn.- Barbicide in their containers does not get changed out every 24 hours and sits with disgusting floating blobs- They really don’t use the Barbicide. I’m pretty certain it’s just for show. What they are supposed to have are two receptacles: one marked for clean and one with Barbicide solution to place used items in for disinfecting. It is required that Barbicide be changed out daily. For proper disinfection, a used hair brush must first be cleaned, all hair removed and then put into Barbicide solution for at least 10 minutes to kill off bacteria, etc.- Electric clippers on their stations have visible hair sticking out and stylists do not disinfect properly- Unpleasant wash/sink station experience and stylists never think to put the recliner up for you so that you are at a more comfortable angle at the sink- Cobwebs, dirt, grime, and general lack of cleanliness in every direction you look- Sunless tanning does not get cleaned in between usesI really wished this was an isolated incident, but I’ve gone there enough times to know that this is just their normal. Sadly, their prices are low and the haircut and colors decent, but lately since going back during the pandemic, I’ve just been really disappointed and disgusted about their lack of cleaning or care about any rules or laws applying to their profession and ultimately their client’s health.

Tania did not act irritated or rush to finish— she went above and beyond to make my hair look absolutely perfect!!!! I will never go to another person to get my hair done!

I have been getting body treatments by Alex for over a year now, and I must say it’s been life changing. Her facials make me feel like a new person, and she always knows the best products and routines for my extremely irritable and seasonal skin. Her Brazilian and bikini waxes are by far the best I’ve ever had; she’s gentle, quick, and always professional. She regularly runs promos and is consistently the best priced in the area. I highly recommend!

I must say I feared going anywhere and had been cutting my own hair but on a whim one day I ventured into studio one and Tonya helped me. I had a nice bed tan and a quick trim. I must say her soft nature and abilities to understand what I need are exactly what I was unknowingly looking for. So much so I entrusted her to take off approximately 10 inches or so. I not only love my new hair cut but I feel renewed thanks to Tonyas profoundly superior cut. I wanted edgy, more full and much shorter hair. She worked with me to find the best length and transformed my long lifeless hair into an edgy, sexy new cut I adore. I will from now on only go to her at this establishment. Trust is not easy to find and with her I have. Hair is a delicate matter to me and she made sure that was her priority. I couldnt ask for better. Thank you. Jo

Loved my haircut with Bonnie yesterday and I think this place is really reasonably priced!

Most of the staff is good but could never get my color right and often had to go back for correction. FINALLY found the perfect girl named danielle kresge who got my hair color perfect in one shot and have been seeing her ever since! She since opened her own salon called Elle Salon, in South glens falls and its AWESOME!!!! CONGRATS!!!🎉 WILL continue to see her and wish her the GREATEST success!🙏❤

I was very happy with my highlights today! This is the second time Danielle has done my hair and I absolutely recommend her. I am also a very picky person when it comes to my blonde actually being blonde, and not brassy, and have not had any issues with Danielle. Again, if your going to book at this salon and want highlights, I think Danielle is wonderful!!!

Very unprofessional. The girl who did my hair cut was very rude ( I think her name is Meg) and I doubt if she was ever taught how to to do her Job right. I wasnt comfortable and I will never be back nor recommend it to my friends

I had a wonderful experience at Hair Studio One in Saratoga. I stopped in as a walk-in, and Paula saw me right away. She did a great job! For half the price of an expensive salon cut, I was thrilled with the results. Id definitely recommend her!

My stylist got that nasty burgundy color out! I was so pleased! My hair had never felt so soft after getting it done here!

Ive gone here a few times, hoping that changing stylists would make a difference. They didnt listen to my daughter and cut her hair inches shorter than what she wanted even after her telling the woman repeatedly she wanted it long. Ended up chin length. This last visit they absolutely butchered my hair, almost complete opposite of what I asked for, uneven sides and back. I had to find someone else to fix it. Apparently hanging out and gossiping are more important than focusing on what theyre doing. Done wasting my time and money on this place, will never recommend.

I normally go to a different hair salon in the same strip mall, but they were closing early for their Christmas party so I decided to roll the dice and get my hair cut here. HUGE MISTAKE! So I get seated and everything seems fine, hair cut seems pretty standard about 5 minutes in. The phone rings at the front desk and I hear, uh-huh... oh... yes... Im so sorry, ok come on over... The woman then handling the phones comes over to my stylist and attempts to have a side conversation with her, however she wasnt quite quiet enough and I was able to hear them. Appatrently another client that was in earlier had my stylist and her hair was messed up and was furious and was coming back in, in 15 minutes to get her hair fixed. At first I thought to myself, Gee, thats nice that they made a mistake and wanted to immediately correct it to make sure their client was satisfied. It turns out that clients satisfaction came with the price of me getting the worst haircut I have ever received. The stylist begins rushing to get my hair done and seems to keep going to her clippers to straighten it or even something out, it was at this point I had started to get a bad feeling. It was soon after the other client arrived and I was thrown out of the chair like a hot potato and sent on my way. On the way home I looked in my rear view mirror and noticed a spot of hair, sticking up (this wasnt the case) I thought nothing of it and continued home to get ready for my company Christmas party. After getting showered and dressed I started to do my hair and was horrified by what I found. My hair was completely un-even everywhere, my fade on the sides was un-level and started at different heights on both sides. I looked butchered and I now had to face all my co-workers and their families looking like I got my haircut while sitting in a subway car that got derailed.

Prices are reasonable and I have yet to have a negative experience with a stylist. For how terrible I am at describing what I want they always do a good job.
