I love the salon the girls always greet me with a smile. I have been coming here for 5 years and will continue to do so. Their are two people who stand out the most. The manager is a sweetie and Becky who always cuts my hair and is fantastic and who also gives me great make up advice. I love it.

Love this place and the ladies that work there!! They are always so bright and cheerful upon walking in, they offer great deals and services and all welcomed me with smiling faces. I will be stopping in again in a few weeks to get my touch up! I would most definitely recommend this place to any of my friends!!!

It was lovely. I brought my son in to get his hair cut and everybody was super friendly. The girl Brittney was crazy nice and made my son feel less nervous when he got there as he usually is very shy. Place is legit dope.

Literally the worst attitude ever. I went in there a while ago to ask how much it was for a bridal hair trial. They were really rude about it and acted like I was annoying them by asking or even being in there. All the girls were hanging out and gossiping with each other inside the salon and acted annoyed when I needed help. Some of them were even on their phones. Its $65 for a trial which is fine but the way they set it to me was like they really didnt want me to do it there. Never ever go in there again. I like one of the girls but Im sorry the attitude is just not worth it To go in there. There are plenty of other places in the mall to get your hair done I would try somewhere else.

Becky Scott (Patenaude) Has been cutting my hair for 10 years. She is a wonderful stylist and has now started cutting my 2 year old sons hair. She is fantastic with him and patient. Cant wait til my 1 year old daughter has hair!

No Stars... We went here last night for my Daughters 12th birthday. She wanted a big girl hair cut. I made an appointment. Walked her to the chair, they washed her hair and then started to cut. The woman stopped in the middle of cutting my daughters hair saying that she had head lice. First of all she humiliated my daughter in a room of people. My daughter started to cry. I asked her to show me, I looked and there were no bugs at all. I asked the woman where she saw a bug, She said she didnt, she saw these White things. I looked and there was nothing on her hair. Because my daughter was completely embarrassed I opted to just leave, but we had to wait for my son to be done. So when I went to cash out for my sons hair cut, they TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR MY DAUGHTERS HAIR EXPERIENCE! Not only did the cashier want to know if my 17 year old son who is 6 foot two was under 12, they also tried to charge my daughter for not even cutting her hair. Afterward I went to another salon, and asked them to check, and they did and said there was NOTHING WRONG WITH HER HEAD. Thankfully the other Salon felt it was important to make her birthday a nice one. But I am leaving this review everywhere, as well as making a formal complaint to the corporate office. This is INSANE.

I had a lovely time getting my extensions put in with Becky, however don’t plan on scheduling another appointment... the ladies agreed to initially call me once my extensions arrived before prom, and they never did. I had to call back myself hoping they had come in four days before prom (very nerve wrecking). I then tried to schedule a new appointment to get my extensions moved up before vacation. I called more than a week ahead and agreed to Friday appointment, they then called back to confirm and said that it was for the previous Wednesday, which didn’t work for me! I drove all the way to the Salon for absolutely no reason on Friday because they changed it to Wednesday... Also, the woman who left the voicemail and callback number spoke so quickly not even my phone could understand. If you’re elderly or have trouble hearing please don’t bother listening to the voicemail... also, I called the phone number listed on the webiste a total of 13 times (yes 13 times) throughout the week and nobody answered, all I heard were the store hours (I called at 12pm), strange! I finally got ahold of them and the lady that answered immediately had an issue with me, she raised her voice, yelled, and accused me of being wrong about calling them... LOL check my call history why would I lie! She continued to degrade me, and was very very rude throughout the call. Its a shame, I am a paying customer! Overall this Salon needs to get itself together, there are too many miscommunications, their computer system is EXTREMELY SLOW, and some of the ladies are rather rude. Take your business elsewhere, where they have more patience.

I officially received the worst haircut of my life on Friday here at this JC Penney Salon. Not only did the finished product come out horrible (i noticed when I got home that she really only cut ONE SIDE OF MY HEAD), but throughout the experience the hairdresser would not listen to what I wanted, would cut my hair how she thought it should be cut and was talking down to me.Honestly, Im not even sure why I stayed for the whole thing? Probably because my fiance got her haircut first and I had to wait 45 minutes for my haircut despite other stylists working that day so I felt invested. She had the same experience by the way and when she returned to the front, seemingly very upset, we should have left right then. She did not get the haircut she wanted and any time she offered direction it was shot down with a response that pretty much boiled down to You dont know what you want, but I do so just accept this haircut I am giving you.I dont know the stylists name, unfortunately. She was sitting at the closest station to the front desk. I do know that I will never, ever be returning here again for anything and will be recommending to everyone I know to visit competitors instead. Not only was a basic haircut more expensive than SuperCuts (almost right next door by the way), but I DO NOT enjoy being treated like an ignorant child when Im spending money on something. Terrible job, JC Penney Salon. First and last time Ill ever give you my business.
