This place is magical!! I found my dress at Something Bleu in 2018. I forget who the woman was who helped me find my dress because I waited too long to write this review, but she was the sweetest lady. Their rooms for trying on gowns are beautiful, they have lovely accessories to try, and the dresses you can shop are stunning. If you’re looking for a romantic or ethereal vibe, this is the best place to go in Saratoga and the surrounding area. 🙂💕

I recently had the pleasure of photographing  Something Bleus exquisite bridal shoes. The details are amazing, from subtle design elements to stunning iridescent hues. I knew they were the most gorgeous shoes I have ever photographed, and then as if all the other details werent enough, there is a beautiful blue jewel on the sole. You NEED these shoes on your wedding day!

I cannot express how amazing Marissa was at Something Bleu bridal. She made my appointment so much fun and was able to find the perfect dress for me so quickly. I actually did not buy by wedding gown here, but my experience was absolutely a 10/10.

Melissa had the dress shipped in, went along with my customizations, coordinated with the designer and bought us a round of wine at a local restaurant after. 10/10 experience at Something Bleu. I am crying happy tears finding theee dress still! I went with my Mom to find a wedding dress for my wedding that’s at the Canfield Casino next year. Marissa was so patient and caught on quick with the style I was looking for. I’m short and I really hate trying things on but Marissa made it relaxing by showing me gorgeous dresses. The dresses, building, interior and service were all beautiful. This location and experience was much better than other Connecticut bridal shops. (Where I also looked). I felt so special being there. I can’t wait to see my dress and vail again! Easy parking too for downtown Saratoga.

Something Bleu was my first stop dress shopping- and it was the only stop I needed! First off- walking into the boutique is an experience itself, because its such a gorgeous space. I loved having my own suite to try on dresses with my mom and maids of honor- it made the experience that much better. Marissa and Kathryn are so friendly and fun, but what I appreciated the most was their honesty. They arent trying to just sell you any dress-- they are so helpful when it comes to choosing the perfect style, and they genuinely want you to feel like your absolute best, which is an experience you dont find often enough. The dresses they have are unbelievably gorgeous. They have some classics, ones that are totally out of the box, and some in the middle. I wanted something unique and romantic with sparkle, but something unlike what Ive ever seen before, and I found it within 10 minutes of being there. Their veils and accessories are also gorgeous. I could live in the the accessories/alterations room because it was so beautiful. Thank you so much to Marissa, Kathryn and the team at Something Bleu for making my wedding dress experience so perfect!

From the second I stepped foot inside something bleu I knew I would have a great time! Marissa was so incredibly friendly and helpful! She immediately found so many awesome dresses that were my style and budget. It was all around the perfect first time shopping for a dress. I was able to narrow down what shapes and necklines I liked best and Marissa was ready to help me customize my perfect gown on the spot- offering ideas on little personalizations I could add to really make the dress my own!

I had an amazing experience with Something Bleu and found my wedding dress with ease. My runner up dress was even here! It was my first of two bridal appointment of the day so I felt I needed to go to my second apt as well, only to realize I had found “the one” here and came right back.I felt very safe with their Covid precautions in place. Even though I wore a mask trying on dresses, I still felt beautiful! I was the only one on the floor looking at dresses and we had a secluded private suite full of natural light. My mom & sister had surprised me with a bouquet of flowers to try on with the dresses and they accommodated that as well! I cannot wait for my dress to ship here in a few months and try it on again!!!

The Something Bleu staff was so wonderful during my whole dress/accessories/shoes process! They were professional and caring, and also made me feel so comfortable during a process that can be very stressful. I didnt feel rushed at all during the appointments, and I found a dress in just two visits, the process so was easy.

The day after we got engaged, we stumbled upon Something Bleu Bridal, and it was the beginning of one of the most amazing experiences of our wedding. Because my wife had lost her mother, I not only helped pick out her dress but also went to every dress fitting. Denise and her staff were exceptional in every way, every interaction. But what stole the show was her dress. We thought we knew what we wanted and after trying on a couple of dresses they made a suggestion to try a different style. I could hear my then fiancee tearing up from behind the curtain and proclaiming this is the one. It was not only the most perfect dress for her, but the theme and style of the wedding then revolved around it. After our wedding we were at the hotel bar when the bridal party from a different wedding came in. One of the bridesmaids came over and told my wife that she was the most beautiful bride she had ever seen. We are forever grateful to Denise and her staff for helping give us a magical wedding.

I had my first and only bridal appointment with Something Blue! Teri was fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for a more special day. I didn’t have any expectations on what I wanted for my wedding dress and Teri made sure to have me try on dresses that I wouldn’t have originally thought I wanted! She was very thoughtful and asked me a lot of questions about my family! I felt very comfortable with her and there was never an awkward moment! I loved how much natural light there was in our room. And how personal my day felt. The only time I knew there were other brides in the building is when we went into the show room to pick out dresses. We felt like we were in our own space and it just made the day that much more special! Teri thought of everything from adding a headpiece or a belt to the veil. She was wonderful to work with. I look forward to picking up my dress and starting the fitting process!!

Im so very grateful for the wonderful experience of finding my wedding gown at Something Bleu! The staff was very warm and friendly, and remained respectful of my budget. The seamstress whom they recommended was also lovely and did a fantastic job on my alterations. I would highly recommend looking for a gown with them!

Something Bleu has a special touch to it that makes it stand out from other dress stores. They made me feel extremely comfortable and I really enjoyed how personal and private the dress experience was. Teri was amazing and so helpful! Something Bleu was my first (and last) bridal dress appointment. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Emily took great care of me and my mom, and helped me to find dresses within my budget. She encouraged me to try on dresses I would not have picked myself, and they looked great. I had my own room for dressing, with a larger show room with large mirror and pedestal. There really is no pressure from the associates to buy a dress. Emily seemed to genuinely want me to just enjoy my experience. I enjoyed the store so much, that when I found my dream dress in another store, I chose not to buy it there, but instead to call up Something Bleu to see if they had the same dress. I returned to Something Bleu because I knew they would take good care of me, and they did. I tried on the dress in their accessory room, which is flooded with natural light, and I had my “this is the one” moment. They ordered the dress in my size, set me up with an excellent seamstress (Irene), and emailed me when the dress was ready. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend the store to anyone shopping for a wedding gown.

I had a wonderful experience at Something Bleu. Although I ended up finding my dress at another salon, Something Bleu had my second choice dress and I tried on half a dozen dresses that I all loved. The sales lady was very helpful and I never felt pressured to buy something more expensive than planned or pushed to make a decision that day. The historic mansion setting is also beautiful and I loved just being there and trying on dresses. I highly recommend Something Bleu.

If you want a unique and beautiful dress, personalized attention with no pressure to go over your budget (exactly the opposite of a chain corporation like Davids bridal) come to this beautiful shop. Its the Kleinfields of upstate New York (but more affordable). I got so so so many compliments on my gown..

Oh my gosh! I made an impromptu appointment with Something Bleu last week and I cant believe I found my dress with so much ease.The whole store was pretty slow (it was Sunday), so everyone paid close attention to me and were so sweet. My consultant stuck to my budget and found me exactly what I wanted. It took me 2 months and hundreds of dresses to find my prom dress, and only took me 1 appointment and 4 dresses to find my perfect wedding dress!Thank you so much Something Bleu. You were amazing.

Best experience EVER. Everyone was so helpful! They paired me up with someone who would know my style and what I was looking for. All the girls were great with assisting me with the dresses too, and thats important. The last thing anyone needs is a flustered bride with torn lace!lI tried on the most beautiful, hand picked selection of dresses from France, Germany, Canada, from a womens refugee, and it was just... Such a beautiful experience all around.

I worked with the owner Denise in my search for the perfect gown. I wanted something unique feeling and gorgeous, and almost every dress in her cute boutique fit the bill. Her professional opinion was spot-on and I was made to feel beautiful and confident at all times. Denise made my company feel welcome as well, as I had taken my mother, godmother, and three good friends with me. The store is clean- no shoes allowed, but she does provide bootie covers should anyone prefer it- and is just so personable. I really felt like Denise and her staff cared about me and my vision. They will help you in and out of dresses and their attentive and caring help will make you realize why royalty had ladies-in-waiting. Though in the end I found my soul-mate dress elsewhere, I absolutely recommend Something Bleu and will never forget how stunning I felt here.

I cant say enough good things about my experiences with the Something Bleu team. After seeing my sister find the perfect dress there a few years ago, I knew that this would be the first stop when the time came for me to find a dress too. Ive met with Denise, Ali and Terri and each of them are so knowledgeable and ensure that you have all of the information you need to make the big decision. The selection they have is also so unique - the first dress I tried on ended up being the one (go figure), but I went to 3 other shops just to make sure I knew what was out there. The selection I found elsewhere really couldnt compare, and the experience at Something Bleu really stuck with me - I ended up coming back to buy my first choice this past weekend! Cant wait to wear it!

The owner and staff at Something Bleu Bridal are just outstanding! They go out of their way to make you feel so special as you prepare for the big day! The dress selection is exquisite, the salon is warm and inviting and the accessories are to die for! I can’t say enough about SBB and my fantastic experience! Walked in the other night to find a clerk yelling at a Bride for a mistake they clearly made and were refusing to fix in alterations. The clerk then said to another I want to slap that Bride. We left faster than we walked in. I have never seen such behaviour. Not sure if this was the owner or not but, it was a disgusting display so, much so that it is still bothering me. Thank God I was witness to this and did not purchase there. Horrible. 0 in my book.

They treated my sister great throughout her entire wedding dress experience. They respect your budget and are just very kind people there.

DONT BOTHER LOOKING ANYWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR WEDDING DRESS!! I went to something bleu first and fell in love with my dress and the experience. All of the consultants made it very personal and you dont see any other brides! Its all about you! They dont pressure you to buy it right now, they give you time to look at each dress in different lights. When I went to other boutiques/ stores, youre put in what looks like a mall dressing room and all the other stalls are filled with other brides, so youre watching other people trying on their dresses. The rooms you get changed in are the size of a broom closet and have no mirrors and they tell you if you dont buy it now youre SOL. Well long story short we went back to Something Bleu that same day they allowed me to try on the dress I loved again and stay in it for as long as I liked, they put me in this gorgeous accessory room with just me and my family and it was such a magical experience and I am so happy to say I bought my wedding dress at something bleu.-great prices (like seriously you wont believe it)-amazing experience-knowledgeable staff
