The service is beyond poor. Couple minute wait to “i don’t know maybe 5 minutes” to “well it looks like a 40 plus minute wait”. This is the same store that processed my new phones wrong when I got them and lost a big rebate. If you plan on going to Verizon do not go to this branch. Poor management. Manager sat behind the counter doing nothing.

I went in to swap out a hot spot. I signed in and was told I second. Turns out I was fourth and I would have come back knowing that, but both staff there on 8/30 at noon couldn’t be bothered. No hotspots were on display and I asked if I had them, I got a one word answer — yes we have them — are they in the back — correct was the only answer. Read the reviews of this business and please go anywhere else to purchase a Verizon product. The staff at the Wilton mall could care less about Verizon customers. The have the power to make you wait and apparently are not held accountable for their contempt of others. They are rude. They do what they do — head down and you wait. That’s not the case elsewhere in the Verizon store network, but that’s how it works at the Wilton store.Thanks for the reply — but your Verizon store @ Wilton mall has a long-standing reputation for rudeness and poor customer service. I came there to spend money—most people do and all of your products are expensive. What be dismissive and rude to folks willing to fork over hundreds of dollars? Most Verizon stores go out of their way to make customers happy. Read the reviews— all of them going back a year or two. Close the store — start over. Do something. Everyone in the store when I was there was over 65. You think retirees need aggravation from someone who’s job it is to get you to sign a contract? Weird. You should be embarrassed.

I went in to simply add an additional line to an existing plan. I was promptly greeted at the door and handed off to a sales associate that helped with all of my needs. Super quick process and sales associate was very friendly. Never felt pressured to buy something I didnt want or need. After 16 years Im still very happy with Verizon and their network.

Went to the Wilton location to replace a damaged iPhone - had the great pleasure of having Joseph as my customer support team member. He was patient, honest and incredibly informative when taking me through my new iPhone options and reviewing my current plan. He handled the transfer of my information from my old phone to the new one with expertise and kindly explained the tech stuff to me that I didnt quite get. Thank you and Bravo Joseph!

I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for almost 20 years and on Tuesday, I switched to At&T. My cell phone stopped working one day and would no longer connect to the network. After many hours on the phone with both Apple and Verizon, it was decided that I needed to go to the store. At the store they put in a new sim card and that did not fix the problem either. I then asked if I could buy a new phone to which they told me they could sell me one, but not help me set it up as I did not have an appointment. I said that would be fine and proceeded to ask what the return policy was for the phone. It was at this point that the sales consultant went to get his manager. The manager told me he could not sell me a phone because I asked about a return policy. Apparently that flags their system as taking advantage of the policy. I have never been a retail environment in which someone would not sell a product that has a return policy because the customer asked what that return policy was. I was so disappointed with Verizon that I left and drove directly to At&T, bought a new phone, and switched carriers.

A huge shout out to Hunter. Hands down the best Verizon experience I’ve ever had. Here’s the story. Dating my self but I’ve had a Verizon cell # and phone since the first cell service came out/ yes a classic very large bag phone. Lol Well because of some pricing challenges and extra data charges every month- (also one huge problem that was not solved- we get poor service up north- Verizon please get a tower or better service in Willsboro NY area) I was going into a competitors store in the Wilton mall to change our family of 4 cell phones. Again A big decision because I’ve been with Verizon forever. However IT WAS TIME. So I stopped into Verizon one LAST time to share what I was doing and the rest is history due to Hunters amazing customer service skills, attention to detail and honestly a real good down to earth person. Hunter, LISTENED to us- I mean really listened to our story and some how relaxed us, made us feel like he did understand (empathy) and ultimately- we stayed with all 4 phones and were incredibly happy customers. His managers and support team all helped also- super great experience with the Verizon team at Saratoga Wilton mall. Price was part of it but definitely not the only reason. This was the first time we really we were listened to and made feel like they wanted us vs another #$ etc. Hunter hope you get this note and we wish you all the best!

Typical non-corporate Verizon store. Wife went in to get a replacement phone for her broken iPhone5s and rather than replacing it with her insurance they sold her an iPhone8 for $30 a month and of course $180 in useless and stupid accessories. They lied to her and told her she needed a wireless charger, and God knows what else shes getting because they didnt actually have any of it in the store. They said they were not allowed to activate her phone, and now of course Im trying to activate and its not working (Ive only activated about 100 phones in my lifetime, I know what Im doing). Every experience Ive had in a privately owned Verizon store is the same. Find a corporate store if you dont want to be steam rolled by pushy lying salesmen.

There to buy a mobile phone, it is the most regrettable thing in my life, the service state of a few rocks bad attitude, I used more than a thousand dollars, bought a mobile phone.In addition, I bought a wireless charger. I used 64 dollars, and I used my bank card.becauseThe salesman was too busy to give me a list.He told me that he would send it to my mailbox.I told them I needed a paper version, but they didnt print it to me, I trusted them, and I went home.The wireless charger after you bring home is useless, but it is broken.Ill take it back a week later when Im free,The manager told me there was no return. You dont have a list.I asked them to help me find it in the computer.They told me I couldnt find anything.Finally, tell me that I didnt buy my wireless charger in their store.I said I used a credit card. I have a record.The shop staff sold their own things, did not give guests a single, the guests returned to find the time, not only to the guests irresponsible, but also play, not responsible for their own behavior.Virtue is bad, and there is no morality.Do not help guests solve guest problems.Bad language and bad attitude.The tragedy of buying for the first time in life.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I dont know if they get commission on the phones they sell but the man who helped me seemed helpful but was far from it, he seemed more interested in helping me spend my money on a new phone and then getting out of his hair so he could go to the next customer and make more money (if they do make commission). He just didnt want to do his due diligence to make sure I had no issues. Never switched over them sim card on my new phone, and never told me, then asked of I had wifi at my house (which I do) and when I answered he told me to take care of it at my house with no other direction on how to properly setup my phone. So I had to take time out of my vacation to go to a very helpful verizon store (this store got 5 stars,and I wish I could give more) to get my problem solved. Its too bad that I live so close to this store but will have to travel further away to avoid this place.

I found the employees at this store to be very friendly and, even when a customer in line was very rude because of a long wait time, they still had a good sense of humor. They are clearly understaffed however, which meant that the wait time for service was very long. Great service, long wait.

I have had about 2 good experiences here, one 7 years ago and one 3 years ago. Both times involved buying my new devices and dealing with a good and polite sales rep. Every other time I have gone in since has been terrible. Several sales associates stand at the front desk and wait several minutes before introducing themselves or offering any assistance even when there are only two customers. The last time I went in I specifically asked for a phone with a replaceable battery preferably Samsung and the response was that they dont really make any of those phones anymore. I directed the salesman down to the 3 Samsung phones on display with removable batteries; the response oh those!. Literally 12 phones on display and couldnt remember those 3. Couldnt tell me more about them than what was on the very small display. I will probably be going online from now on rather than go here .

I went in for a simple phone swap to a new phone I already own (5 min process), I had to wait over an hour before even getting put on the wait list. (The guy who was adding everyone told me he had just gotten there when he had been there for at least the whole time I had been there) that I was only placed on the wait list after stopping the employee from puting yet another name ahead of me seems to me like anyone over 30 gets better service here. While in line with only about 7 ppl for well over an hour, they even sent an employee home durring the rush.Update after over an hour of waiting had to leave still no assistaaas provided to me

I usually visit the Amsterdam Store. I was so dissapointed with the service I recieved at the Saratoga Store. I was pushed into abundled that wasnt compatible with my phone.When I said we had no reason for amilitary discount it was pushed on us. lack of integrity.Info from old phone was not transfered in store.Screenprotectors are not replaced in store.Overall ver poor customer service.

Incompetent. I dont know if its the staff or the company overall, but theyre all completely incompetent. It should not take several hours of my life just to get my new upgrade phone. Every single simple, easy step of the way is screwed up somehow. The staff knows nothing, the system is screwed up, the whole experience is absolutely atrocious. Not that other Verizon stores are better, but this is still insane. Absolute, total horrible experience. If I was not getting discounted phones / phone plans from my work I would never set foot in a Verizon store again.

My husband and I went into upgrade our phones after we shopped some compition. The kid who helped us was so rude, difficult, and could have cared less about our questions and concerns. He flat out said you get what you pay for so if you cant afford it you should go some where else. When we left I contacted customer service told them we are leaving this company if we dont hear from someone. Guess what we did not hear from anyone in a month and still have not. My husband even works for a major company who gets a corporate rate and they do not care. He will have 100 new employees by this time next year I hope non of them use Verizon.Thanks Trish

This has to be the shadiest company in the U.S. I left AT&T for this company and was screwed over from day one. June last year you offered a promotion of a $200 credit for new customers and a representative said they were giving away a Tablet or Bose sound link for new customers. Told him I didnt want it that there has to be a catch. Was told no catch and that he would give me an extra $30 line of credit if I take it. So I did with the $85 a month contract I was told about. I was charged $250 the day I signed up. Asked why am I paying this. Was told it was a new customer start up fee. Every month since then Ive come nowhere near $85 a month but more like $97 and sometimes over $100. Seriously Ive called to get this resolved for months and spoke to numerous representatives and supervisors and no one makes it right. Went back to the store and was called a lier to my face that Moe from Wilton didnt help me and didnt sell me the phone. I wanted to to pay my phone off and called for the remaining balance. It was $250 more than what I expected because of the deposit. Was told I would get it back in May. I called yesterday and today and was told it wasnt a deposit but instead I payed for that FREE Bose system. Are you fn kidding me. Wont make it right by giving me my money back. You want to give me $30 as an apology. You lost a customer and not a care in the world. Verizon is nothing but a scam and Ill be filing with BBB, Ny attorney general and Ill be seeing you in court.

Just walked out of this Verizon location - for the 2nd time this week! Im ready to upgrade my phone: my 2 yr. old htc has been powering on/off. I was approached by a store rep, added to the electronic queue and told I would be seen next. Browsed the Android display for 20 minutes and no one appeared to help me! Same scenario happened last week. What irks me is that on both occasions 2-3 sales reps are gathered by the front of the store kibitzing. This appears to be the norm at this particular Verizon store: I recall contacting Verizon a year or so ago and complaining about the poor lack of attention to customers by store reps.

(updated again after they had somewhat redeemed themselves a little, last time) terrible training and no support from the parent company verizon which doesnt care about customers. We had to return a $150 phone of my daughters and the store said it would be covered then we got billed $300 replacement fee. When I complained by calling Verizon, they acted like they were giving me something by crediting-back 150 of the 300, basically forcing me to buy a used new phone. This is but one example of how Verizon treats you like just one of 100+ million customers (aka meaningless)

Got my phone screen replaced, got charged an astronomical fee for a worse quality screen then the cheapest screen on eBay!!! The only reason I used this service is because I was hoping for an original iPhone screen. Ive never had a good experience with anyone at Verizon, but this is just absurd, hence me actually taking the time to give a bad review. Avoid Verizon and the people at this store at all costs!!!
