This Company made the process of repairing my Wife’s vehicle smooth and easy. They were flexible with their hours and the customer service was amazing. The lady that took care of us Ms.Stormi was always on top of the repairs and gave timely updates. She was very nice to us and very professional. Initially once complete with the repair. The lower bumper was still damaged from the collision. And Ms. Stormy went ahead and ordered the part for us. Once it got in. We were notified and the part was installed in 30 minutes. Great experience working with Gerber Glass and Collision Savannah.
NEVER take your car to a corporate office collision center. They will take your car apart and not put it back together because they say damage pieces can’t go back together; If you was to change your mind about this collision center. Never received any phone calls about my car. I had to make all the phone calls to speak with them about my car. They also was trying to take apart and replace parts that was not damage in the accident. Those parts made the estimate repair cost more and more. Once, the repair price is past a certain percentage of the actual cash value of your car they will force you to accept a total loss to your car. Nobody else will work on it. Worst decision I ever made in my life. My car was perfectly fine and driveable when I took it there now it looks like a junk yard car.
Always the best customer service keep you updated about your vehicle status have no worrys about the craftsmanship of the repairs always top notch.

These people are the best!! My car had been shot by some unknown miscreant and was otherwise in extremely good condition. I took it to Gerber after getting references from friends in Savannah. My estimator and customer service representative, Crystal DeLaoch, was more than helpful and in the end, very persistent in obtaining a vey difficult to find decal to finish the job. Thanks Crystal. I would return to Gerber without hesitation.

Used this company in the past with good results. But before bringing current vehicle to this shop I called to make certain that they could fix its Reading made KUV aluminum body. After being told no problem driving van to them and dropping it off, I was called by my insurance the next day. They said that the shop called them to let them know they could not work on this truck. Just disappointed

I was skeptical going to the body shop for Geico (not my insurance, but the person who hit me). They were extremely professional, good covid precautions, noticed damage I had missed, and got my car finished a day early. At drop off the woman even noticed that I had car seats and asked if they were in the accident. Since my kids were not in the car at the time I had not realized they needed to be replaced! She told me how to add those to the claim.The rental car was ready and waiting for pickup and drop off was the easiest.The only thing I didnt like was that they pressured me to give them a 5-star review on a survey from Geico. But they really do deserve 5 stars, my car looks better than before the accident (at least in the back).

Geico had me come here for my damages, had I read the reviews, I would have told them no. I know my car has scratches, I know where every scratch is. When I got my car back I had new scratches. Called twice, was told someone would call back and never got a call back. I have enough going on in my life than to be calling this company over and over . Was also told my car would be ready on Friday . I was about to go get it but decided to call and check first and they told me it would not be ready til Monday. The experience started out great. Everyone was friendly and quick but I dont appreciate everything that has happened after. I filled out the dumb survey that I kept getting email and texts about and still nobody has reached out. I wouldnt recommend anyone going here. I definitely wont.
Front desk staff is polite, and repair was done, but overall I would discourage anyone from going here. Just a few issues I experienced:*Services completed a week late*Not contacted when issues came up that caused delays*Belongings missing from driver side in vehicle*Not notified that detailing would be done after repairs were completed so that car could be emptied by owner (not thrown in a box left in the trunk)*Damage to all knobs on dashboard controlling A/C and Radio*Now my car is two different colors because they didnt even match the paint correctly! I was not told this was something they had difficulty doing and asked what I would prefer doing about it.All of these issues were pointed out at time of pick up and management was informed. I filled out every survey/review reminding them I was dissatisfied. Still have not heard back about reimbursing, fixing, replacing or even just apologizing for the fact that I have a car with more issues than when I dropped off for repair. Once they have your money they dont care!
Called and was told they dont do glass repair in this region. That it was just collision repair which is stupid, they should drop the glass part if they dont fix glass too...
I dealt with Melyssa and let me tell you, I will never deal with anyone but her. She knew what I needed and was very polite and very knowledgeable of everything I needed.

Excellent customer service! The call center kinda messed up the whole making an appointment and explaining the process. Thus making the wrong kind of appointment. Already frustrated bc I wanted my truck repaired when I discovered I was wasting my time even coming up there for that appointment, krystal at the front desk did an excellent job handling the process getting everything changed and getting my rental set up. Melissa was extremely nice. Excellent staff, their professionalism. The work done on my truck was next to impeccable.

Super friendly, quick and efficient
Weve taken 2 of our vehicles there and they do a great job. Only thing that I think needs to change is how often the call you to give an update. Once per week is fine with me, but they will call 2-3 times per week.
Customer service is terrible. The ladies at the front desk are not friendly or professional. When I took my vehicle there for an estimate of repairs, they tore my vehicle apart. There was a dent over the rear passenger side, but they pulled out the back seats, removed the rear windshield, tore out the door, marked up the front (there was no damage to the front), why? Then, they gave the insurance provider an astronomical bill to repair, knowing it would be a total loss. But I got my vehicle, (had to return for my parts one still missing) had it restored for less than they estimated. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE TO NO ONE! I WISH I COULD HAVE RATEDTHEM A ZERO!
I hit a deer on the way home from work. Called my insurance company and they said this is a certified body shop to take it to. Started out ok service, however once they had my money and my insurance money communication with them stopped. Just like previous reviews the ladies up front are not friendly or professional, the adjusters dont return phone calls and make empty promises, I was told three different days I would have my car, and that we would pay for your rental, which never happend they didnt reimburse me for anything. I called the local dealership right here in savannah and they had the parts they claim they cant locate. I was given oh its the Coronavjrus fault to the day care been closing on me fault etc. I finally had enough and picked up my truck and took it to the dealer. When I finally talked to Austin I guess hes the manager he then said the girls accused me of hitting on them which never happend. Instead of addressing my issue and getting my truck fixed it turned into well you were upset, and now this false alligation of making a pass at someone. I only saw my adjuster Melissa one time ever and that was the day I took my truck, not finished, dirty and with the check engine light on away from this joke of a body shop. Save yourself the headache, just read the reviews and go elsewhere. Yours truly, a Savannah local.

I was kept in the loop about everything going on with my vehicle. I was kept up to date with frequent phone calls and text. My vehicle looks new! Highly recommend.

Please be careful when leaving your vehicle here. Once they THINK its a loss and you wont come back the employees steal your stuff. And of course the first thing management says is, well we have a sign that says not responsible for theft perhaps you need to hire more honest employees. You dont even have time to investigate the situation because I mean nothing to the other millions of dollars you can make by overcharging the insurance companies you deal with. Bad customer service!

Not professionals at all. They fixed the back of my car and they did not take the time to wash the whole car, only what they fixed. I couldnt see if the work was well done until i washed the whole car.And the work was not professional
I struggle with having to write this review. While the repair work to the parts of the car that was damaged was of good quality, the communication during the process was a bit sketchy and a little dishonest. They broke my rear lip while taking it off the car. They could not find the same rear lip so they called me and played it off as if it was just some minor little part and that they would give me an appearance allowance for the part. What they did not tell me was this was a major part to the rear end and would totally alter the appearance to the rear end of the car. They also did not tell me that they could have ordered another rear lip for the car ( these guys are suppose to be professionals) just not the same style. They gave me $234 appearance allowance. The cheapest replacement I have found is $312 and another $300 to have it painted and installed on the car. They also broke my hatch back struts. They refused to take any responsibility. The manager told me that they naturally wear out. Considering that I had to open my hatchback to transfer items to my rental when I dropped my car off I find it odd that the struts just naturally wore out while they had possession of my car. Sheldon Arch the Geico Insurance Adjuster, Horrible. I am now shopping for a new Car insurance as well. I hold Geico just as responsible as I do Gerber. If they call you and tell you they cant find a part and want to give you an appearance allowance... DO NOT AGREE TO IT OVER THE PHONE. Go in and get a visual understanding of what they are saying or you may end up like I did. Extremely unhappy. I will finish the repairs myself.

Well, I was just on the phone with Ms Moesha, and when she found out that I didnt live within the service area based on my zip code, she politely hung up on me! So very rude! These type of people can ruin a business! Excellent customer service is the Life Blood of a business!
Normally wouldnt leave a review but I dont want anyone to go through the heartache that I did. After a collision with a deer my insurance referred me to this shop. It took a full month to repair it and when I finally got the car back it was creaking like an old ship. The shop assured me that there was a lifetime warranty on all the work they performed so I brought the car back in to be looked at.They drove my car around the parking lot and told me when cars get old and have high milage, they start to make noise like I was an idiot- last time I checked a 2012 with 30,000 miles on it isnt an old car with high milage. Had to take my car to another shop only to find they PUT THE WRONG PARTS IN MY CAR. The radiator support didnt even match the make and model of my car. The overall repairs to my car were around $10,000- just under what the insurance would have totaled it at... so Im assuming they cut corners and used cheap parts so they wouldnt lose the job. Absolutely ridiculous. I ended up spending $5,000 at another shop just to fix the shoddy work they did.EDIT: Gerber has responded saying they have been in contact with me to resolve the problem.I think what they meant to say was they called me once, let it ring once then hung up, then when I called them wouldnt answer. Dont be fooled, they didnt make any significant effort to reach out to me, and they definitely didnt do anything to resolve the situation. Quite frankly, they are lucky I did not seek legal action, despite the suggestion of multiple attorneys.

I have a teenage daughter so I have been to several body shops along the way. I could not be more pleased than with Gerber. Communication was texted every few hours and they called several times to give us a heads up concerning where we were with ordering, repairing, painting, etc. They even had the vehicle a day early (3:38PM according to their text). Couldnt ask for better. And I thought customer service was dead. Its not. Gerber is the real deal.

Outstanding body repair, great customer service
The repairs and painting were done well and the car looks great. There were however a number of delays in getting my car back too me and attempts were made to off-set blame to suppliers instead of just accepting they are the service provider and suppliers are an extension of their business. They should of just apologized and moved on. Outside of that the repairs were done well and are at least so far holding up well.
Great quality service, constant updates on the status of your vehicle and friendly staff. I wouldnt want my car repaired anywhere else.

General Manager Wayne Barrero went out of his way to replace my owners manual and make things right. I appreciate his diligence in this matterWill never take my car there again. And will tell my friends the same. The first time they had my car they were texting and calling daily with updates. Close to the day my car was to be finished the calls stopped. I couldnt get them to answer the phone or call me back. Come to find out they had broken a piece which delayed me getting my car back for another week. Fsat forward a few months when I take my car back because interior lights dont work. Guy asks for my owners manual so he can fix it. All was well until a few days later I go in my glove box and my owners manual is missing.
Love their comprehensive work. Was a bit surprised yesterday to see my old, broken mirror skeleton hiding in the back of the van though.

Even though I initially left a terrible review (for work done by a previous shop), I was squared away by Melissa. She took time out of her day to track down the problem (nearly fixing it herself!) before pointing me in the right direction. Would deal with again.
They did a great job on my vehical... Repairs was awsome! Jerry is a very nice guy & professional. Its just one thing, that I didnt approve of this business, is. They use my own personal vehical to pick-up my parts, and there closes store is in jacksonvillie, ga. Also put miles on my truck, and drove-out my gas! And left all the evidence inside, my vehical... So dumb of them! Dusk & Dirt was everywhere. Thats all I have to say, you do the rest. Oh, and denied it all :( also, GEICO is our insurance company... They were all for it, and behind it all. I was a first time customer, and didnt deserve this kind of treatment from them.
